The Museu do Mar is making cognitive development modules, first on display at Expo Osaka-2025 in Japan, available to the public in Maputo.
The event, which began yesterday in the Museu do Mar amphitheatre, will continue until Sunday and is part of the activities commemorating International Museum Day, celebrated under the motto “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities”.
The material is aimed at the general public, but with a special focus on second cycle primary school students, addressing topics such as “Water availability on the planet”, “Water cycle”, “Water pollution”, “Water pollutants and fisheries” in a practical, interactive way.
According to a note in the possession of ‘Notícias Online’, in addition to the interactive sessions, the public will be able to take guided tours of the permanent exhibition and related activities.
