The long-awaited long holidays. This year as well, I’m thinking of leaving the crowded Tokyo area and relaxing at my parents’ house. The book I chose to take with me on my trip home was Hika Harada’s “Secondhand Book Shokudo.” As I was reading, the two hours on the Shinkansen seemed to fly by. Niigata Station for the first time in several months. Today, I’m going to stay overnight at my brother’s house, so I’m going to drop off my luggage at his house. After dropping off my luggage, I headed out to visit some cafes by myself. Niigata has many cloudy and rainy days, so I’m glad it’s sunny today. By the way, I’m with Yamepi again today. When I appeared in my last travel vlog for the first time in a while, I was happy that someone remembered me. Tokyo is so crowded that it’s difficult to walk in a straight line, but Niigata’s streets are easy and comfortable to walk on. I enjoyed reading and was able to recharge my mind. Walk to Niigata Station. I returned to Niigata Station. I found the capsule toy I was looking for. There are four types here. All are cute. We also found capsule toys from Niigata Prefecture. I want the “Sado” charm, but since the probability is 1/6, I’ll pass on it for now… After walking around the station, I took a break at Starbucks. I also ordered the strawberry tart that I wanted to try. Recently, my favorite sweet milk coffee. I was planning to switch to soy milk this time, but I completely forgot. It was a nice day and I was able to read slowly. And so my long holiday began. Today I met up with my third sister and went to Niigata to visit cafes and go shopping. I got on the bus and headed to Furumachi. I went to Hakusan Shrine, which I visited last year. A flower wash with beautiful flowers floating on it. The soothing sound of wind chimes will soothe you. The Japanese ibis wind chime is also cute. It was early in the morning, so there weren’t many people and it was easy to visit. You can also try your hand at fortune telling, which you can enjoy by fishing with the included rod. My sister was fishing for a golden sea bream. I was able to catch the fish without any problem. The result of the fortune was “good luck”. The lace amulet was also nice. Colorful carp streamers. There were wonderful spots everywhere and it was a feast for the eyes. It’s almost time for the cafe I’m looking at to open, so I head there. 10 minutes walk from Hakusan Shrine. Let’s go to “THE COFFEE TABLE”, one of Niigata’s favorite cafes. Last year I gave up because of the line, so this year I decided to go at opening time. Today’s dish is lemon strawberry shortcake pie. My sister ordered an iced latte. I chose a hot latte. It’s beautiful no matter where you look at it, and you won’t want to eat it. I was told to mix it well before drinking it, so even though I didn’t want to ruin the beautiful latte art, I mixed it before drinking it. The sourness of the lemon curd accentuated it and it was very delicious. I met my sister for the first time in a while, so we had a lot of fun talking about all sorts of things. After walking around, we headed out for lunch. I went to a cafe I saw on Instagram and wanted to go to. There were also some nice exhibits at the cafe. There is also a counter, so it seems like it would be easy to come by even by yourself. I came here for lunch, but the desserts looked delicious too. We both ordered the Mahorama plate. A very cute plate was brought to me. A plate with plenty of salad, quiche, doria, and bread. The dressing is delicious, just the way I like it. The doria was also hot and delicious. I would also like to make a stylish one-plate meal like this. Walk from Furumachi towards Bandai. When you arrive at Bandai, it’s time for shopping. I checked out capsule toys in Niigata with my sister who loves capsule toys. This is a nostalgic character bangs clip that you definitely want to try. The “Kogepan” I wanted came out on the second try. My sister tried Disney candy charms and they were cute, so I tried them too. The pink chain is also cute. This is another Sanrio new product that I wanted to try. I was a “hangyodon”. cute. Sanrio Mejirushi Charm, I’m not sure if I should use it as an additional one… My sister won the marron cream that I had said I wanted but couldn’t find and gave it to me as a present. It was fun to try out so many capsule toys. This UFO catcher prize was too cute. Colorful flowers blooming on the roadside. Walk towards Niigata Station. I was tired of walking so I went to Royal Host. This is the second edition of the strawberry brûlée parfait that I’ve been wanting to try but haven’t been able to eat yet. The second one is the strawberry and pistachio brûlée parfait. I wanted to give this to my sister too. I also ordered fries at my sister’s request. The quality was so good that I couldn’t believe it was a family restaurant, and I still vividly remember how impressed I was when I took the first bite.As it was getting close to the time for the boat, I hurriedly bought some souvenirs. I got a drink at Gong Cha and got into a taxi. Transfer by taxi to Sado Kisen. I was hit by a taxi that was flying very fast and I felt like my life was in danger. We safely arrived at Sado Kisen. We stayed in the waiting room drinking drinks until it was time to board the ship. Mango mini pearl coconut milk tea that I wanted to drink. This was so delicious! I want to drink it again. We will take a boat to our hometown of Sado. It was just the time when the sunset and sky were beautiful. The waves were calm, and the hour flew by. My father picked me up and I was able to return home safely. I woke up early and went to the bamboo shoots moat with my grandfather. I woke up, got ready in 10 minutes, and left the house right away, so my eyes weren’t fully open yet. Found wild bamboo shoots. Although my grandfather is 93 years old, he still has a lot of energy. Even though I stopped because it was dangerous, I was scared because it kept climbing higher and higher. Get a big bamboo shoot. I woke up early and breathed in the clear air outside, which felt great. Harvest a large amount of bamboo shoots. While I was back home, my mother made various bamboo shoot dishes. I feel refreshed after finishing my work in the morning. After taking a break at home, I’m going to go to the tulip fields with my parents. I was excited to see beautiful tulips… This was after the flowers had been picked to preserve the nutrition of the bulbs. I wanted to see this in bloom. However, I was glad to see some beautiful tulips. The same goes for the tulip field next door. I thought it was a yellow tulip, but it turned out to be a daffodil. It was a fun experience. I found Tamagotchi biscuits that I wanted as an extra, but they had disappeared from Tokyo. I also bought Sanrio mascot gummies. While shopping, I found that rice was unbelievably cheap in Tokyo, so I bought it. After that, I went out with my sister who finished work in the morning. I came to Hanamaru Udon for lunch. My sister, who was exhausted from work, asked too much and later regretted it. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten udon, and it was delicious.I’m going to buy donuts as souvenirs for my family. Purchased a large quantity of donuts. After filling your stomach, check out the capsule toys. Hamtaro is cute. I also tried the Sanrio capsule toy that I passed around the other day. Pochacco. Afterwards, head to your favorite cafe. I visit mikawa every time I go home. It’s close to Ryotsu Port and is open from 7am, so it’s recommended when you’re traveling. Since I didn’t have any strawberry tarts, I chose one that looked delicious for the first time. My sister ordered a sweet potato and honey tart. I chose the marmalade tart. It was delicious and had plenty of marmalade. We had a great time chatting about various things. When my younger sister comes home, I want to go there again with the three of us. As a thank you for driving me, I received a Lawson roasted green tea latte. It tasted even better when I added some syrup. Opening Sanrio’s mascot gummy. Aiming for Kitty, Kogimyun, and Usahana. Here are the results. It’s the same size as Mejirushi accessories and is cute. We also opened biscuits with Tamagotchi stickers. I thought we would never meet again, so I’m glad we met again. My second daughter also returned home from Tokyo, so we all had Yakiniku tonight. This lemon sour was delicious. I’m happy to be able to eat a lot of meat. After the meal, we had fun playing some mysterious games. The person who spins the roulette wheel and hits the colored blocks that appear to make them fall, and the person who makes the penguin fall, loses. It was a huge defeat for my father. After that, we will all play with Chikawa’s UNO. The Chikawa pattern is cute and heartwarming. I almost forgot the rules of UNO, but I remembered them while playing. 1st place is in sight. When I thought about it, I ended up drawing only blue cards. I managed to make a comeback and move up to 1st place. happy. I started having fun, so I moved on to the second round. It’s different from before, and I don’t get any blue cards at all. It’s been a while since I played UNO, but it was fun. In the second race, I was able to finish in 1st place again. Maybe I’m stronger than UNO… Today too, my grandfather woke me up in the morning, and I got up early to go to his field. The double cherry blossoms were blooming beautifully. This is a potato. My sister ① and I helped put up the black vinyl. I want to plant some seedlings after the holidays. After that, I helped with the heavy lifting for about an hour, and I worked up a good sweat in the morning. My sister ② came to give me a roasted green tea latte. It was a nice holiday to get away from social media and do a digital detox. After that, the three sisters went out. The weather is nice and the breeze coming in through the window feels good. Today too, I went to mikawa. I was lucky that there were 3 seats available. I had my long-awaited strawberry tart today. The three of us ordered the same menu, and they were very grateful and offered us strawberries. It has so many strawberries on it and is only 500 yen. I’m glad I got to eat it again this year. I couldn’t give up on the stickers I wanted, so I bought more. Go to TSUTAYA where Tully’s is attached. This capsule toy has caught my eye. I took the opportunity to try it once, aiming for the Sado charm. The Sado charm that I was looking for came out. happy. We took a short break at Tully’s. It was unusual to order it in pieces, which made the table look gorgeous. My sister was hungry so she ordered a hot dog. I went for the matcha tiramisu shake, which I also had last year. I don’t usually drink Frappuccinos at all, but I really like this one. I was so happy that I won the Sado charm, and when I put it on right away, my sisters were amazed. A Sanrio cherry charm capsule toy that my sister found in Tokyo. This is so cute. We each spent our time as we liked. The matcha tiramisu was so delicious that my sisters drank more than half of it. We had a peaceful time at the seaside. After receiving today’s sushi for dinner, I headed home. Here, I opened the Tamagotchi sticker. Here are the results. I’m glad that the Mametchi sticker that I wanted came out at the very end. This time too, my parents ordered some gorgeous sushi. Looks delicious. First up was sea urchin sushi. Whatever I eat is delicious and makes me really happy. The sushi you can eat in Sado is the most delicious. I invited my younger brother, who just came back, to play UNO again today. Of course, I’m aiming for 1st place today as well. I played more than 5 rounds today, but I couldn’t come in first place even once. We laughed and laughed as the night of our final day in Sado drew on. In the blink of an eye, the last day of the holidays arrived. Take a jetfoil to Niigata. It was a peaceful voyage back home. The one chosen from among the many ekiben was “Ebisenryo Chirashi”. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten Senryo Chirashi. Hidden beneath the covered thick-yaki egg are eel, yellowfin tuna, squid, shrimp, and sushi rice. I was surprised at how rich and delicious the yogurt Yasuda drank was.
