Visited the Mt. Fuji area during my recent trip to Japan. Lot of stands sold Fuji-grown fruits near every tourist attraction/station. Seemed like a tourist trap but I love fruits and volcanic soil is supposed to produce the best tasting fruits, so I indulged.

Apples- crispest and juiciest (like drinking an apple juice lol) apples I’ve tasted. I’m from the subcontinent so my bar apples are low, but wow that was tasty. 10/10. ¥500.

Blueberries- almost tasted like all the blueberries i’ve had. the berries were firm but i attribute that to the freshness as the shopkeeper said they were picked that morning. 7/10. ¥900.

Strawberries- had the cheapest (small oddly shaped red ones) and the most expensive (pale, almost peach-ish diamond shaped ones) variant.
cheapest ones were pure vfm. sweet with a mild sour aftertaste, makes you want to continue eating. 10/10. ¥400.
kind of felt ripped off with these ones, nothing striking about how they tasted. felt less sweet/sour and had a mild peachy taste. 2/10. ¥2500
