not your usual japan route with the 5 day jr east pass tohoku area itinerary | hanami fukushima
[Music] Break. Count. A little over a month ago, my friends and I went to Japan for our birthdays. We head off in the middle of the night from Sibu and arrived just past 8 in the morning at Narita. After grabbing a quick conveni breakfast, we got our JRE passes and train tickets and set out for Omari, northernmost perfeure of the main island of Japan. We wanted to visit a place that we all haven’t been and to hopefully catch Sakuras. However, we were way too early and we also went during the off season as Omari is also known for their apple harvest in the autumn. After nearly missing our Nar express train, we transferred to the Shinkansen line at Tokyo station. Got some lunch and rode on the Shinkansen to Shin Alari. After one more local train connection, we arrived in Omorei after four plus hours from the [Music] airport. Here’s a tour of my hotel room and hotel my stay on my station. I’d say it’s a tight fit for two people, but for one person it was just right. So, right here we have a hanging area for clothes, the mini bar, the security box, the desk, and the bed. I’ll get to the view later, but for now, here’s the restroom. So, as you go in, you see the mirror, sink, and the Japanese toilet together. And then to the left is a separate room for the tub and the shower. And now for the view. This was a nice surprise to have this view of Elmorei during golden hour. [Music] [Music] Wonder. [Music] [Music] [Music] I’m [Music] kidding. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] Hey. Hey. [Music] Watch Apple products. [Music] [Music] power. You try [Music] You ready? [Music] Hello. I need you. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Good [Music] to see you. [Music] [Music] They’re eggs though. Let’s try it. [Music] We will soon make a brief stop at [Music] [Music] [Music] Imagine this when it’s in season. [Music] [Music] She listen. [Music] [Music] picture [Music] because Spring. [Music] Oh, that’s nice. [Music] There you go. [Music] [Music] [Music] Hallelujah. [Music] Where did the come from? Where’s the magic? [Music] What’s happening? [Music] Water. [Music] One last Apple thing from outboarding. Apple product. [Music] [Music] Do you love [Music] me? Oh [Music] my god. [Music] [Music] So, time for a quick room tour. So, upon entering, there’s a little entrance to leave your shoes and bags with the restrooms to one side, which I’ll get to. For now, let’s check the sleeping area. So, the bedroom has tatami flooring and could fit around four people. The floor beds or futons are currently kept in a cabinet and will be set up during dinner, which I’ll show later. Back to the toilet and bath area. Both are separate as is common in Japanese hotels or ins. And overall, although it did feel a little bit dated in some parts, the inn was clean and most importantly offered both public and private onens. Speaking of which, it’s time for me to get ready and head to [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Last but not [Music] least, looks comfy. Exciting. [Music] [Music] [Music] Thank Is it good? Oh, the smell hits after back at the station. [Music] Yeah, I am. [Music] Thank you so much. [Music] [Music] Heat. Hey, [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] We’re taking some more time. Let’s go. [Music] Yeah. [Music] [Music] What are you doing? [Music] What’s up? We’re here. And this is the last room tour of the trip. We weren’t sure what to expect because it seemed like a new hotel with not much reviews on Google. However, it is almost like an Airbnb with a kitchen where you can cook complete with table wear. The beds are bunk style which fits two on the bottom and two on top. The toilet and shower rooms are separate again. Features modern fixtures including a flat iron. However, there’s no free toothbrush. Ask me how I know. Overall, it was a nice place to stay. Located in a very quiet Sakusan [Music] [Music] neighborhood. Please change the time. [Music] [Music] $25. Yeah. [Music] South Korea. Nice. I think I get [Music] Heat. Hey, heat. Hey, heat. [Music] Oh, [Music] okay. Canada. [Music] I’m very [Music] [Music]
