Stressful Arrival in Tokyo Japan 🇯🇵 (World’s Largest City)

Stressful Arrival in Tokyo Japan

Tokyo, Japan is one of the most unique cities in the world. I’ve been intrigued by the Japanese culture for years, and Tokyo is the perfect blend of futuristic tech and traditional zen. This arrival video in Tokyo shows the process of navigating through the world’s largest cities, showing the Japanese hotel room, and eating my first meal in Tokyo, Japan. Thanks for watching!

  1. Bro just a tip, don't leave your chop sticks in the bowl like that. 20:29 – It's rude or something. hehe so I have heard.

In Japan, it is generally considered rude to leave chopsticks standing upright in a bowl, especially rice. This practice is associated with funeral rituals, where food is offered to the deceased with chopsticks stuck vertically into the rice.

  2. I've never been into the heart of Tokyo but I've been thru Narita airport a few times on my way to the Philippines and it is quite amazing, not what we see in America thats for sure.

  3. For thank you, it's pronounced with a silent "u" 🙈. Cute

  4. I wonder if you got searched and questioned so aggressively at customs because American streamers/vloggers don’t have the best reputation in Japan.

  5. Japan is the Best country me and my family have live there for 13 years when I was active duty U S Navy! Enjoy your stay! The only Honest country in the World! Excepts the earthquakes in Japan.

  6. I have a Japanese toilet, life changing.
Heated water and seat, bowl light, six different spray settings, adjustable water pressure, remote, auto cleans, deodorizes, auto flushes, and changes oil in my truck ever 3,000 miles—probably.

  7. When I arrived in Narita, I just flew back to the USA from Cebu. Not many people spoke English. Usually, people/workers just point as soon as they recognize a word. This trip made me realize that I take the Philippines for granted since most people understand English.

  8. If it's any consolation I had a flight from manila to bacolod and my flight was rebooked 2 times. The next day the flight I had was postponed for 2 hours and then the gate changed on me without notice and I almost missed that flight.

  9. Very cool to see. I know I want to visit at least once in my life but i'm starting to hear how Japanese people are not very fond of all the tourists. I would like to visit but not if it's starting to upset the locals.

  10. Ghen and I headed to Japan in 3 weeks. The vlog came in handy, thanks Jonathan! Looking forward to more Japan vlogs here soon. 🙂

  11. I like the idea of not talking in the subway out of respect, but the constant robotic voice is clearly worse. You have a robot that is doing the disrespect and annoying instead of fellow passengers, which at least is human.

  12. It happened to us as well. When we arrived at Narita, there were a lot of people, super chaotic, and it was raining while we were walking and looking for our hotel. The hotel was just a little bit bigger than the one you got, but it was the most expensive we had in Japan. We went to Kyoto and Osaka as well, just to compare. However, after a day or two in Tokyo, you get the hang of it, and it was nice.

  13. The reason for Narita being so crowded in April 29th was that it is was the first day of the Golden Week holiday season April 29-May 5, which has lots of holidays over a two week period. Everybody coming to the airport and leaving or coming into Japan. You may not have realized that.

  15. For the Narita Express (NEX), it is Red on the signs at the station at Narita. Blue is for the Keisei Skyliner.
