  1. In japan I went into the Onsen with my sister that was in the hotel. Was nice but you get hot and dizzy quite fast, so didn't stay long. The cold water afterwards was really nice though

  2. Let's just hope some random idiot, who streams on Kick, does not make bad racist jokes about Japan doesn't come here EVER again.

  3. Your travel videos with Aki are very enjoyable and informative more please! and your right about the Hiroshima style, the noodles ad a different texture too

  4. Aren't oysters said to be an aphrodisiac? Hiroshima people, is there something you'd like to tell us?

  5. As picky an eater as I am, there's something exciting about going to Japan one day and trying all kinds of food. I think, out of all the different cultures I've tried from restaurants in my home country, Japanese has been the best.

  6. My favourite thing I did in Hiroshima when I visited in February was the Mitaki-dera temple way out in the north west corner. It was quiet and peaceful and there was a hiking trail out the back of the shrine which I decided to follow, it ended up taking me up a moutons with a great view of the city and Hiroshima bay. I encountered an older Japanese couple at the top who were definitely a little shocked to see a foreigner running the trail but we greeted each other politely before moving on. In my experience Japan is always best when you don’t plan too much and just explore!

  7. I went to Hiroshima as well as Miyajima island as part of an exchange programs in order to educate both Hiroshima Teens as well as Honolulu Teens about the ‘👀’ event and it was an amazing experience and had the honor to meet actual Hiroshima survivors and learn more in detail about the event. It was a very eye opening event that I will never forget.

Also almost had a deer eat my hair, don’t recommend sitting down on deer reachable benches they WILL eat your food

  8. Im from india and didnt know about the Gandhi statue, I didnt even know modi went there recently >_<
The deer reminds me of my dog Luna. she also begs when i am eating human food. She acts as if I have never fed her when she gets timely meals and treats ahahhahaha. I love how they crochetted hats for the statues. Its cuteeeee. Also im 100% shy and i hate my body so i will never be comfortable in an onsen everrrrrrrr. I dont feel comfortable with anyone looking at me

  9. 0:50 little Japanese grandma walking. Aki gets distracted when the Japanese grandma's roller bag goes over the tactile paving.

Idk why I find it kinda funny, but it is

  10. You should not have shaken a carbonated beverage.😆
Besides, collecting shrine amulets is a good idea.

  11. I really really like how you did this video. The minimal editing is just so much refreshing compared to what's considered standard these days. Really encapsulates the beauty of Hiroshima too 😀

  12. Ask the average japanese what the worst thing happening in ww2 and they unironically will tell you hiroshima and nagasaki. Its so wild, imagine asking that a German and him telling you the bombing of Dresden was pretty bad 😅😅

  13. Ichigo ichie (一期一会, which means “one time, one meeting”) is a Japanese yojijukugo (四字熟語, meaning that describes the concept of being present in all moments. Ichigo ichie, or "one time, one meeting." It's a lovely reminder to appreciate and make the most of every moment because each encounter in life is unique ,see im more mature now at 28

  14. I remember visiting Nara for school trip and a deer ate my paper guide, the only one the teacher had in English 😅

  15. I've been to Hiroshima twice now, the second time post the museum being completed. Both times just as heartbreaking and each visit bought me to tears with the senselessness of war. As much as Japan likes to whitewash some of the history involving them with flat out denial, I believe they have done a beautiful job on the peace park and promotion of never having such a thing happen again. Definately a bucket list must do for anyone going to Japan. Go there first, then follow up with Miyajima which is fabulous and will wash away any residual melancholy 👌

  16. Awesome video. Always wanted to know how the hotel on the island was. Your girlfriend is so pretty without makeup.
