I spent the night in a 1,200-year-old temple in the mountains of Wakayama, Japan which is now a hotel!

Temple Hotel Daitai-ji is located right along the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route, and it’s one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed! I also visited the incredible Nachi Falls nearby – one of Japan’s most iconic sights and the tallest waterfall of Japan!
