hey friends it’s right here tonight at the peanuts hotel in Kobe Japan uh we come out cu well we want to stay at the peanuts Hotel stoy and Woodstock I love it so um the hotel is in Kobe each room is a special room themed to a peanut comic strip um and you pick which one you want there’s a whole list that you can choose from it’s a very complicated website I’m not going to lie and every single room has a different price and a different layout and things like that so the place that we picked the room that we picked in particular was when you go someplace nice you should always shine your feet right catchy it’s not the catchiest uh however they do provide little pictures on the website and an idea of the comic strip and we liked this one the best this is the most Japanese one this is the most Japanese Kawaii cute one that we could find um I will put down in the description how much we paid for this it wasn’t necessarily the cheapest hotel but it may very well be the cutest that we’ve stayed in so fingers crossed it’s got to be good um the package that we’ve got as what package it’s basically just bed and breakfast really that’s what it includes it includes breakfast you can do dinner as well you can do dinner okay there is a special Cafe here a special restaurant that they have and so we’ve got breakfast included in that so we’re going to just take you around the hotel a little bit show you our room and then let you know what our thoughts are after the fact that the wrap-up might not be here because it’ll be we want to do the wrap-up after breakfast and after the food so the wrap-up might be when we’re on the road but if you guys do enjoy the video throughout and you do find it Well fun cuz it’s a peanuts Hotel uh give us a thumbs up do appreciate it it really does there you’ve kind of got uh a comic strip of sorts of peanuts which is just really really freaking cute uh I’m looking into the lobby right now and that also looks really cute they’ve got that little sign over there with all the like menu peanuts 75th celebrating menu oh my goodness that’s the same milkshake that we had at the peanuts Cafe is this by the same people we’ll certainly find out look it’s Snoopy’s ears this looks amazing I’ll show you around around in just a second but that’s an overview we just got to check in so this is the lobby area we got peanuts pillows we got a little bit of seating area there we’ve got the main dog himself Snoopy so this is just the lobby and like a little gift shop and Cafe but we got a proper food area upstairs and we’ll obviously show you that for breakfast as [Music] well Kobe City where guests feel comfortable [Music] yeah it’s the same kind of merchandise from the peanuts uh Cafe and Museum just outside Tokyo [Music] [Music] look at all the various sizes of snoops okay so we got to go up in the lift but we need to go up these stairs to get to the lift so just not accessible in any way shapable form they’re very high stairs and they are very high steps but the elevator looks cool cuz we’re stepping into uh Snoopy’s dog house which is amazing um the diner is on the third floor and then the peanuts hotel is four five and six we are literally stepping in oh nearly into this is tight we need to the QR code yeah so you got scan the QR code for it to let you that makes sense that’s like a normal um Hotel key card situation in the especially if there’s a diner here too yeah um it’s also very cramped in this elevator and oh look at the roof there oh my goodness I didn’t even notice right so we are room four I think aren’t we so oh these look cute so you got 51 2 three that way 54 5 6 and seven this way and the way you get in is by scanning the QR code so one of the great joys in life is dinner and good conversations and that that room ours is when you go someplace you should always Shine Your Feet some nice someplace nice sorry yes right let’s let’s go in I think we’ve got to put a key in here any like that let’s put a couple of things down let’s do our bags quickly put our bags down and we are in right firstly we’ve got the bathroom room here so we got a walk-in shower with a rain head and the detachable shower head little sink area and I kid you not the absolute cutest towels in the world um you got a little laundry bag here hair dryer more of the towels they’ve also got the immunities as well and I believe we’ve been told we can take these immunities a little shampoo and conditioner there um I don’t believe we’ve got we’ve got a bar of soap we don’t have any shower gel so uh toilet one of the Japanese toilets with buttons on the wall and a little peer of Snoopy this quite Industrial in here though it’s very much like the bare concrete um coming in here just close just close that up a second um so coming in here we’ve got the little uh fridge in there uh nothing in there just the fridge little safe uh cute little notepad and pens that say peanut soel on them so you got also your uh your tea your coffee spoon it’s got a shnoop on it as well and these cups they do say you cannot take the mugs home they are very specific about that it’s not eating it’s dying in and then two bottles of water you got this little like shelf area here that’s our umbrella then you’ve got the slippers that say peanuts Hotel on them um as I said we had to put our key card in there um and this is the layout of 51 2 3 4 5 6 7 right so there’s a balcony I don’t know if we have access to the balcony or not but we’ll find out in just a second um we might we might we’ve got a little like old zen garden area here this is cute Snoopy at top Mount Fuji these cute seats the floor is like a like a textured carpet it’s it’s very strange um and then here you’ve got a little zen garden with all of uh the Peanuts characters in the little figurines and then like the cute paintings that’s also on the roof as well uh the bed area is on a little step so you’re just going to have to like you’ve got to make sure that you can step up into that and then we’ve got uh two single beds actually there’s not a double or a king in here um with these really nice furry blankets uh you’ve got a large TV you got this very cool lamp here Snoopy on the patter and scroll there and then like this feels kind of like a a a Ryon this does um the airon unit is just up on the ceiling there um and then you’ve got plug sockets over here you’ve got two USB A’s and you’ve got one plug socket um and then these do your lights for the room and then you’ve also got this tablet as well not sure ah that is cute so you’ve got uh room guide cafeine Diner Cobe cool alarm and contents so light on light off light on off I don’t know what that does to be honest English right so room and it’s going to explain the room to us so just trying to sit down in a better position here so when you go someplace nice you should always shine your feet and then it explains about Snoopy shining his feet we get a little uh description here of the comic itself um so it talks about uh Snoopy getting ready to go out he puts on his hat checks his face in his mirror and then he starts polishing his feet on a rock because he’s so proud but he never wears shoes and he wants to go out and make sure that his uh feet are shining bright so that’s that’s cute um and then you’ve got a guide here that’s about like the hotel as a whole so we are in happy so you got imagine on floor four you got happy on floor five then you got love on floor six um and then like a little bit of information about the hotel the cafe and din here and I’ll talk about like what’s available and the menu did you know you can take a bath towel no you can’t you can take the bath towel the face towel The Coasters shampoo conditioner soap obviously toothbrush toothpast water slippers coffee and tea set laundry bag memo and Pen guys guys that’s why this hotel was expensive we have for pens uh tourist information around Kobe and a map of the local area you can make a call here I’m not going to press that because I don’t want to like accidentally call anybody you can set an alarm and then contents you’ve got some like videos from peanuts so yeah that is that is cool um wow this is amazing in here um oh I forgot to say we’ve got like a little we got a little K here as well to say about that yeah so Becky was just saying you can take basically everything apart from the mugs yeah basically you can take all of this stuff you genuinely you can take the take for free bath towel face towel what isn’t that mad have we got also it will be wet but yeah we’ll we’ll make space for that they are the cutest towels I’ve ever seen let’s have another little I just like I want to like genuinely guys like ‘s going to lift one up this is the face towel look look at the little Snoopy and Charlie Brown it’s I mean they’re not great quality they’re not the best quality but but they are cute peanuts Hotel on oh it’s branded it’s actually branded fully Kobe Japan that’s so cute and you can take this too this laundry bag oh it’s just plastic it’s just plastic laundry bag but yeah wow um and yeah like we said we can take the champoo conditioner and all that stuff right let’s see if we can get out onto the balcony I think it says emergency oh it does yeah no sorry so we can’t we can’t get out onto the balcony um and then because we’re in the room that’s when you go someplace nice you should always sh your feet we’ve got that on the wall just here framed um this is this little zen garden is the cutest it is isn’t it like guys this is probably the cutest room I’ve ever stayed in it’s not the best room no not the best room in anyway shape or form the breeze blocks and the industrial nature of it I don’t actually dislike that I think it’s an acquired taste isn’t it it feels like they’ve done half a job yeah but then like it’s just like here like the carpet’s all coming up yeah but she did say that they’re going to be doing maintenance tomorrow in the room so you can extend your checkout by 1 hour for I think it was 2,000 Yen might be wrong I’ll put down in the bottom corner if I’m incorrect um but she specified tomorrow we cannot do that because they are doing maintenance it did make me wonder if it’s like they’re doing maintenance in our room I think they probably are and things like that that Becky just uh pointed out there are probably one of the things that they’re going to do so we won’t Mark him down for that yeah we’re not going to Mark him down for that CU she has explicitly stated we got maintenance to do fine kind of wish I’d known that before in a way to charge me slightly less but you understand these things right like at least at least she’s saying it um not a significant amount of plug sockets but like I said you got that one by the uh the bed and then you’ve got the one by the lamp there you’ve got two in this corner um to to to my left as well you’ve got a couple I think where the the kettle is and the the Shelf there but yeah only thing about taking the towels home is that they’re going to be wet though right I’d imagine had a shower I’d imagine so unless you’re somebody that like showers in the night and doesn’t shower in the morning then you can hang them but yeah yeah we’re not we shower strange in in the morning so anyo uh you’ve also got a uh dehumidifier here as well um which they are in every hotel but we’ve not used it in Japan I mean probably should but yeah wow this is cool this is cool so um yeah we’re obviously going to stay here for the night um we won’t do a full review because it’s only one night but we’ll let you know what our thoughts and feelings are after it so far it’s nice it’s small it is small but the whole building is small and I think they’ve gone and tried to like fit as many rooms small as I expected no I I mean having this area yeah mini Lounge you can’t do anything anything with this area like I suppose you could move the chairs over and Z Garden I don’t want to disturb this so I don’t want to move over just for the sake of opening my suitcase here I’ll open my suitcase in the door area right we didn’t bring our big suitcases here anyway we did the bag delivery service so that’s one thing you can do in Japan by the way like if you I think I’ve mentioned it in another video in series but you can actually have your bags sent via Courier from one location to the next and it’s pretty much any hotel I think um and so to send our bags from well Osaka to Osaka one location in oaka to another I think it was £18 for two large like full size 20 plus kilo suitcases so yeah if you’re traveling around a lot we’d recommend like planning and then like doing that and then just taking like a hold to a couple of places if you have but yeah well this is cool so coming down uh to the third floor we have got this gate because youve got the guest rooms upstairs and you’ve got these little bits of comic strip on the landing the middle Landing of each floor and a little light so we got peanuts Diner C be Meal Time a great joy in life is dinner and then down the end we’ve got like a little bit of a photo opportunity here photo spot one side is filled with hate and the other is side is filled with love um down the end you’ve got restroom and then we come into the diner itself uh we got the menu but I’ll try and grab a menu so we can see if there’s any like pictures and stuff but we’ve got Charlie Brown design there then we’re into the actual Diner itself peanuts featuring a good old Charlie Brown by schs then you got these display cases that are featuring uh Snoopy memorabilia from throughout the years Becky’s going to wave good wave hello she just she sat there um more memorabilia in all the cases there are a few of these cases throughout the diner so you got this is similar uh merchandise displayed as the stuff that was at the Snoopy Museum in Tokyo so I think these are linked if you haven’t checked out our Snoopy Museum video from Tokyo I put a link up in the top corner so you can go and check that out selection of juices available pink grapefruit aaji rosemary tea coffee orange juice those riced then hot hot teas and coffee the great joy in life is dinner then you just got these little uh [Music] cartoon panels here all right I’m going to show you what we have ordered you have to order it the night before when you check in you got little kite up in the tree as well it’s is cute so yeah you have to order it when you check in so we told them last night what we wanted [Music] so just grabbed the menu here peanuts Diner this is part of the hotel but you can I believe come in here Willy nearly let’s say whenever you want to you don’t have to have a reservation want to show you some of the offerings Diner appetizer tartar Ratatouille paste with r bread vegetables and Herb salad with leaf leaves of Hawaii uh smoked salmon um barata cheese and ham with strawberries then you got Woodstock’s nest and Ry bread um some of the spelling on here is incorrect in English I always do find that funny when it’s translated like that uh the din is pizza Snoopy Margarita dad’s spicy devola deola sorry and Beagle Scouts bismar more pizzas Olaf’s quatro fori Charlie Brown’s special pizza then you got pasta pigpen’s great pride carbonara kite eating tree genz Peanut gang peanuts gangs beef Bolognese topped with barata cheese and you do have little pictures of each from here which is nice see what you’re ordering um special mains you got salmon grilled with Basel cheese served with beets yogurt sauce Kobe beef hamburger steak with a awayi onion sauce aaji onion sauce we are in Kobe so it doesn’t make sense to be serving Kobe beef not sure if that would be a full like proper cut of it um desserts Charlie Browns choco banana Alaska then wood Woodstock and Friends melee crep you got Sally’s purple dress Sunday and freda’s pink Peach Melba Sunday and then you got some special drinks here you got the peanuts butter milkshake chocolate chips milkshake you got Lucy’s lemonade and then you you’ve got root beer and root beer float and then you’ve got a whole bunch of um soft drinks and hot drinks as well as beer cocktails wine and nonalcoholic Cocktails and then that’s the that’s the end of the menu so actually it’s not a huge menu but what they’ve got on there is quite a nice selection them yeah uh not NE back just asked if most things are themed I wouldn’t say they’re necessarily themed but they’ve been designed to look like the characters using their colors so that’s quite interesting so our food has just come out uh we did have to order this last night when we checked in um so I’ve got a little bite-size selection of sandwiches uh I can’t remember exactly what’s what one’s tuna and egg I think this is tuna Mayo egg peanut but PB&J yeah this one’s looking like pepperoni and uh avocado [Music] tomato um something with lots of pickled pickled vag in there but it’s got little images on like the black and white me seeds for Snoop yarn and Snoop he’s actually yawning into that H it comes with soup and then a little salad and I think that’s like a yogurt as well um so that’s me Becky has got an English muffin and salmon and avocado okay salmon and avocado English muffin same soup and yogurt and salad and then it’s got lip DUS in of uh oh it’s got like a little granola in here to go on top of your yogurt oh has it oh okay I did think the yogurt was a little bit plain um yeah and then it’s got like Charlie Brown hairline not hairline that be hom Simpsons hairline Charlie Brown’s like t-shirt uh sweater vest design presented really cute I don’t know why I said hairline there he really does not have hairline um and then the paper that it’s delivered on is like a peanuts uh comic strip Peanut Dino comic strip which is really cool so we finished our stay at the peanut hotel and I got some thoughts I really firstly I enjoyed it I would stay there again definitely really really nice it was one of the most comfortable beds we’ve had in Japan mhm for sure yeah I wish it wasn’t two single beds that would have been nicer um but you pick based on the room uh theme theme yeah rather than depends on what your priority is but that was our priority yeah we liked the we like the theme of the room um I think it was a little bit Industrial in places like with the that’s clearly the look they were going for but whether it fit the other theme that they were going for like the Japan Cherry bossom Vibe yeah not 100% um the the fact that it included breakfast was great great as well and themed breakfast themed breakfast the themed breakfast was really cool and I mean we paid a bit more than I would have liked for it I think it was 250 or so pound I’ll put down in the bottom corner here how much it was but do I think it was worth that money no do I think it was worth close to it yes I think because of the level of them and granted you know we paid similar price for some of the Disney hotels yeah and they like the celebration Hotel had far less fee in Toy Story did have quite a bit of fee in um you know but like the Tokyo Disneyland hotel didn’t have a huge amount of fem in and we paid but you also pay for where you are yeah like Kobe’s a bit of a random place to go it s like a dodgy location as well it did well the actual street that it was on didn’t but to get to it get to the street yeah I would yeah yeah it it was a bit dodgy very dodgy um but yeah I enjoyed breakfast the fact that they do like it’s a whole dining experience there as well so you can get breakfast lunch and dinner there um you pre-ordering the food the night before was a bit strange but it it worked and it meant it was very quick it was quick and they had they still had like juices and stuff that you could Serve Yourself and it was just the the the breakfast I I imagine if you had dinner in there as well cuz that’s that is a diner isn’t it it was very um like classy it had like a classy feel in there if they didn’t have the like peanuts themed stuff in there you wouldn’t know it was Peanuts theme no but it was like subtle it wasn’t in your face yeah yeah apart from like the figures on the wall um the other thing the fact that they let us take the the towels towels man I’ve never been in the hotel where they’ve said take the towels and they were actively encouraging it like here is what you can take for free from your hotel quite good because sometimes we like oh can we take the mugs should we take the mugs and the mugs were like they were lit they were very explicit don’t take the mugs but take the towels okay that’s Absolut that’s absolutely fine and they are cute cute Tails they are cute they’re not very good quality but they’re cute are they not no no they I’ve already caught one on my ring that’s annoying she didn’t tell me that breaking the news in front of you guys so she doesn’t so it doesn’t kill me yeah so don’t so I don’t shout uh I don’t shout that much to be fair so she break something that or doesn’t let Ste something from a hotel that specifically says yeah that was such such a good uh experience and I’m really happy that we did that um it was very unique and I don’t think you’d get things like that in the UK certainly not as detail themed um certainly not a place that individually themed every single room and there was that is that is one of the most unique things about that hotel I think and 12 there’s like 12 rooms or something in total 15 maybe I think it was more there’s only three floors though yeah so but that is that is so cool cuz you could go back like 10 12 times how many rooms there are and do a different room and have a different experience every time yeah and each one is like a different layout it’s a different theme obviously a different comic so you have different like not immunities in there but like different bits and pieces you know that’s the best way I put in there um but yeah certainly go back there again um I don’t know when we’re going to be next back in Kobe though that’s I don’t know if we would do Kobe again as as a town I don’t think there was really much more to see than we saw no and that I think that’s part of the problem uh Kobe is not at least for us an attraction destination yeah um we would probably stick to some more of the the highlights like Tokyo Osaka one thing we did do in KOB though that was really good that we didn’t V because it wasn’t really appropriate was the earthquake Museum mhm that was really good I would suggest if you in Kobe for the Snoopy Museum do for the Snoopy Hotel do the a museum was there yeah that was really sombering um and it shows you how the level of preparedness is still there as well so yeah pretty crazy I mean they there’s probably going to be an earthquake tonight it just doesn’t you just don’t know the level of earthquake it’s going to be so yeah pretty crazy but yeah go and check out the uh the peanuts hotel if you’re in the area um and also then you’ve got the uh Snoopy Museum just outside Tokyo so if you’re really into peanuts and Snoopy you know you’ve got this is this is the place to In today’s video we’re taking you along to the Peanuts Hotel in Kobe, Japan! Themed to the Peanuts comics with Snoopy and Charlie Brown!

This may be one of the cutest hotels we’ve ever seen! The idea of the hotel comes from a Peanuts comic, ”IT’S NICE TO HAVE A HOME WHERE YOUR GUESTS FEEL COMFORTABLE”. The hotel is set of 3 floors with each with a different theme, Imagine, Happy and Love. There’s a total of 18 rooms and each room is themed to a different Peanuts comic.

Reservations open up for the hotel for a few months at a time, a few months out so it’s best to keep an eye on the website to know when bookings go live.

As each room has it’s own distinct theme, this gives you the opportunity to really get a room that is right for you, we chose – ” When you go some place nice, you should always shine your feet! ” this looked like the cutest room and as you can see, it didn’t disappoint!

The hotel also features a small shop in the lobby as well as a diner on the 3rd floor with Snoopy and Peanuts themed food.
