🚂 Inside Japan’s Rarest Model Train Museum! Open Only 4 Days a Month | HO & N Scale Diorama in Chiba

Thank you for riding with Choo-Choo Travel! Something came along. It’s a lot of fun. I am in Chiba, Japan. Is it an event train? I have a tablet! They will run on diesel, not coal. I think that choice is a good one. The engineers will be able to make things easier. Above all, the people riding it seem to enjoy it. I wish I could have ridden it. Stores are also available. Take a peek. Limited to 20 “Roasted Pork Lunch Boxes” with tea. ($8.26) You can also buy rolls. Take a stroll until it’s ready. Bamboo shoots are also unbeatable! ($3.44) Let’s take a look inside the station building as well. Hachiko? Kiha bag ($11.71) Work caps are also available. ($12.40 / $13.77) It’s a station that feels like it’s been around for a long time. Reuse of express train chairs? The station also has a nice countryside feel to it. …Oops! I see “Marutai” is parked! It’s a vehicle for line maintenance. Welcome from Austria! And thank you for your constant support! Will it not work until night? Now that it’s done, let’s take it home! Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Kominato Railway! Looks good …… No, it’s delicious! It is pretty high on the list of the best pork I have ever eaten. A recent standard? Old-fashioned bottled green tea. Local rolls. Delicious. Having finished our stomachs, we arrived at our destination. Oh, it seems to be open! I am in Boso, Chiba. It is said to be open for only 22 hours a month. Maybe this sign is wrong…it only opens on Sundays. Be careful! Admission is $1.38 ! First, you are greeted by a large N-gauge layout! Station name signs line the street. The scale is amazing! This place does not appear to be available for rent. Maybe more trains running in Chiba. The Shinkansen bullet train is also running! Saphir dancer! Character freight cars are detained in this garage. This sign looks authentic. Is this one a replica? There is also a tram layout but it is not running. Vehicles from around the country? This layout is available for rent. Today is already booked up with reservations. And in the back: ……… There is a HO gauge layout! Various railway-related goods are also on display. They are exciting, like the express sabots at the station. It is placed haphazardly, but if you look closely, you can see parts of the pantograph and other parts. This is a model railroad on consignment. Is there anything you are concerned about? HO gauge is also available. Is this a work space? It seems that the HO gauge E5 series is also at a premium price. Everyone enjoys running their own vehicles. Series 113 Ska color is here. Is this a 581 series? This layout looks like a lot of fun. Let’s follow the 113 series for a moment. It brings back memories of the past. The best part of model railroading is… Isn’t it the ability to run retired trains as you see fit? This train is also a bit of an old car, isn’t it? (Let me know, folks!) This is a vehicle that you all know. From the speed…would it be moved to the garage? Even more old trains are sleeping under the layout? The old trains are sleeping under the layout. Who does this belong to…? Turning back to the layout: ……… Vehicles being replaced? C62 has entered the line. And…? Something is being fed in through the chimney. Oh…! Smoke is coming out. Audio is also played. It says “999.” Galaxy Express 999? It is as if you are looking at the real thing. Oh, I also heard the chimes in the car. There are people in the car! The art is fine. But still, you are blowing the whistle a lot! LOL! Oh! It’s running! It’s very tasteful! Full speed…? You can run a little slower. I received an invitation. Once you get it, go back to your car and get it. Re-entry. You can run the HO gauge layout in the back! I was given permission to do so! Everyone here was very kind! Hmm? This chair is …… We have received permission to run the camera car and would like everyone to enjoy it! And this “Shiki” which is always disconnected…provided us with couplers! Thank you! Then, let’s go! Now, please enjoy the front view! Is this shipment from overseas? It looks different from the outside looking in! I’m glad I don’t even have a rail at home, let alone a layout…. Hmm? It stopped… It seems that the contact was bad. The speed has increased. Let’s follow the 113 series. I pulled it out easily. The contact was a little bad, but it passed safely! Enjoy the rear view next time! Is it correct that the pantograph stands only at the back? It is difficult to capture the 113 series! Now please take a look at the rear view. Was the rear view from Cassiopeia like this? I wish I could have ridden it… In no time at all, it is a round trip. Now let’s run the elevated line. The camera has been replaced due to a dead battery. This one may be more like a full view. Is this what the actual driver’s perspective is like? Same platform as the Shinkansen! Oh, crossing paths with SL! It is a generous railroad museum to let us run a camera car like this on our first visit! Nice view. It is time to get closer to the goal. Thank you for a pleasant time! I encourage everyone to visit! I wish I could have played with the N-gauge layout. Let’s look forward to that next time! There were parts of the building that were not allowed to be photographed, so please visit and appreciate them! If there are other places you would like us to visit, please let us know in the comments section! What kind of iron travel awaits us next? See you soon!

  1. 20:23 it was cool seeing that Burlington Northern U30C diesel locomotive, likely from Kato USA
16:34 when you zoomed in on the passenger cars I thought I would see a mini Tetsuro and Maetel 😄

  2. 数年前偶然立ち寄った時は 583系'はつかり'は13両,113系横須賀色は短い11両で走っていたんだけど今は減車されてるみたいですねw

  3. Loved the vintage country-side train station at 2:00. Very tranquil location. Arigatou for this very enjoyable visit to the train museum. The cityscapes and landscapes on the dioramas had a lot of fascinating detail to explore. Your silver engine with its Choo-Choo logo looked so good on the tracks. And, the camera car views were great to watch. The smoking chimney on the SL at 16:00 was beautiful. I'll look forward to watching your next train adventure! 🚂🚃🚃🚃
