Oh, I piece We just literally ran to our train. I don’t know what happened. We good? Good. Yeah, we’re good. Yeah. We good? Thank you. Thank you. Oh my god. So, we show up at 9:10. We show up at 9:10 and our driver was stressed. We got here. We’re sweating. We got here 3 minutes before the bullet train took off. Unreal. That was just the experience. We paid extra for that. We paid extra. You better give him a tip. I did. I gave him a big tip. Our driver wants visual confirmation that we got on this train and we’re going. It’s good service. snow on it. There’s snow on it. I’m looking for Brad Pit on this bullet train. We are in Kyoto station which is 2 hours away from Tokyo on the bullet train that just got us here. And here it is. It’s already leaving already. It’s a little bit like being in Lost in Translation the movie cuz not a lot of people speak English here. And it’s okay. I like this. I like the feeling of being a little on the edge. I don’t think my wife does though. She’s giving me the nastiest looks. It’s all good though. It’s part of our adventure. We love adventures, right Jess? Some of us like adventures more than others. So, my wife lost the ticket. Uh, no. My wife lost the ticket. No, no, it was you have a mall. And where was it? In your wallet. Is that true, Liz? I found it. Where? Your wallet. So, you’re saying I lost the ticket? You were holding on to it. I was totally blaming you for it, too. You were? Oh. Ah, of course. I struggled. still moving. That’s your guy. Today’s soup is pumpkin soup. Poor guy’s about to get filleted in front. He’s still moving. It’s just the nerves. It’s just the nerves. It happens to us all. I think you Why do you feel true? Japan we grow in. We’re having fun. I love being in Japan there. Never had Kobe beef just outside of Kobe, Japan. It’s a first for everything. Very good. We’re all seeing if you eat it or not cuz we’re all going to have it. Look at they’re like literally like she just happened. Look at Look at your sister over there. I’m sorry. That’s a face Liv makes when she’s staring down someone else’s ice cream. She’s like a vulture. I would I would finish that off quickly, otherwise she will just snatch it. Oh yeah. Oh my gosh, look at that. Empire is a symbol of the Japan and they uh they don’t have any more political power anymore but in the history sometimes instead of president or prime minister uh emperor was a leader of the monarch and then here we right end near the entrance here. So this is kind of like rectangle shape uh place and inside of the place uh you will see different types of the buildings. Current emperor current emperor he is a 126th generation. Oh wow. 126th generation the original. Exactly. He’s a current emperor. All right, we’re outside the Kyoto Palace that was created in the 1330s and I’m going to get out of the way because my wife’s taking a picture. And Kyoto was founded in 794. This palace was in the early 1300s. It’s pretty bomb. This was the original capital of Japan until they relocated to Tokyo in the 1800s. So this was before cars. This was carriage parking for the emperor. This is the waiting room for the emperor. This is where all the people would hang out with their social rank in whatever room they’re in. The high ranking people are way down at the end. Middle is for middle class. One, two, three. Deuces. Welcome to Kyoto. Here’s a Kyoto of Imperial Paris. Oh my god, I’m falling over. Thank you. Evan’s having so much fun. It’s great to see her smiling a lot, enjoying the cult culture. Look at these yahoos. Fish club. I feel like there should be ninjas up on the rooftop ready to jump down on us. Don’t you agree there should be some ninjas? Maybe we’re the ninjas. We are the ninjas. I’d be a pretty good ninja. Barely. I’d be a sweet ninja. So the common folk like us would never come here. We didn’t know like happening. We’re like the European plebes. We wouldn’t be here. But the emperor and his family would be chilling over there. Only the cool kids got to hang out here. Very cool kids. I’m such a dork, but I’m fascinated with the water system here for runoff. So, all the water goes through here. I don’t know what they do with it, but almost hit my head on that extravagant, enormous height ceiling in the emperor’s living room. Just surprised it doesn’t have any shade carpet, which is this Deboner Deir uh stone that he has. That’s a pretty cool bridge. It’s a Japanese end zen garden. I think you I absolutely agree. I think they should be up there. This is really cool. Zenard, you and me in the Zenard together. That’s good. Okay. Looks like you have chicken legs. I like chicken legs. While it’s while it’s cool to be emperor, he still doesn’t have a home cinema. And the rooms look a little bit minimalistic. A boat. Don’t pull her hair. See girls are having fun. Come on. It’s a long hallway. Going to a temple. Temple of doom. How terrible my hair will be. Oh, please recording this. It’s a little crabby. Yeah, tune in. Tokyo. Yeah. Because we can get This is cool. It’s good exercise. Yes, we’re going to come out on a leg day. I’m coming. I like the Statue of Liberty. Not right now. After. Sweetie, we just had ice cream for lunch. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Cool. So here is a sunro near the Kisa temple which is a UNESCO world heritage site. So today Sakura room fully and thank you for visiting Kyoto. Okay. So this is a Komitera temple. This is a UNESCO world heritage site in Kyoto. One of the uh most beautiful and most popular spot in Kyoto and original originally it was found in 778. While we were driving, I noticed buildings had upside down. This morning you arrived from there by your concentration. You thought we were lost when you were. I was lost. I admit it. Use your strong hand. That one’s too hard. We’re in a Zen Temple. It’s all about the Buddha right now. Oh, the smoke incense. I’m back. Oh my god. Yeah. So people jumped off from here. They did. Why? Because they believe their wish will be come true if they still alive after the dumping. So if you jump off this and you’re alive, that means wish comes true. Just wish to stay alive and 230 people jump. This temple means pure water in Japanese and it’s been around since the 700s as well. Check it out. They’re drinking the water cuz they believe it’s pure water. I got That’s a good one. It’s going to be a great sunset. I’m 40. Okay. So, this well is still used here. This is these are some welcome cookies and they have not going to lie, it feels a little bit weird not having my shoes, but hey, when in Kyoto Thank you for bringing our shoes. YouTube, Kinishiwa.
