TOKYO Japan MEGA Travel Vlog – Exploring Shinjuku – Shibuya – Maihama – Asakusa ๐ฏ๐ต
[Music] Another day in Tokyo. It is a Sunday with the Kuzian clan again. We’re headed over to Shinjuku to check out the cinnamon roll cafe so the girls are [Music] happy. What’s it like traveling with two kids in Japan? How do you corral them through the lines in the metro? I pull them. Well, it’s a short one. It’s a rainy day in Tokyo, so the jackets are out, the umbrellas are up. It’s not raining too hard right now, but uh we’re taking this girl the Cinnamon Roll Cafe. Why you got so quiet when I start talking? I’ve been saying it wrong the whole time, Giana. What is it? Cinnamon roll. Cinema roll. Cinema roll. Yes, we are at the Cinema Roll Cafe. Uncle, there’s your [Music] What are you paying for? So, this is Cinema Roll and this is the cafe. It’s a small cafe and there’s a little line for it. You can also pick up some gear. Allie, look. It’s the duck. You got it. Thank you. You’re welcome. Alani, what did you get? Some gifts for my coers. My new co. Chopsticks. Chopsticks. Yeah. So, you can get your chopsticks customized over here. Get it engraved. You can have two different items from English or kasakana or really cool gifts. Really decent price. Forever memory. A win. A win’s a win. A wins a win. So, we got the cinema roll cafe grand menu. They have some pretty unique stuff like rice omelette, bacon cream pasta with like teal color, medium hot chicken curry that’s blue, regular Caesar salad, and their drinks and desserts are really cool, too. Look at this. They got berry and chocolate parfets and mini kiramis. They got sodas, cafe lattes with cinnamon roll latte art. That’s pretty cool. And special birthday stuff. Interesting. And the girls are happy. Such a quaint little cafe here. And the kids love cinema roll. And you can pick up a ton of souvenirs. So I ordered the soda. Mango soda. And you got a little cinema roll right here. Yeah. You got the Back to the Future shirt. We bought is it called [Music] Gu? Let’s try this out. [Music] I love mango. So when I’m in the Philippines, I always get mango but not sodas. Very good. Then we also got a dessert. We’re going to eat ramen. So we’re just trying to be light here. This is more for the kids. So I went with the chocolate parfait right before we’re about to eat ramen. It’s like a little doggy. Sorry. Got whipped cream. You got bananas, chocolate ice cream. Ooh, there’s even some uh cake in the inside, assorted chocolates. This is a tasty parfait. And then my cousins got the curry tiramisu with the coffee. It’s amazing. I even sip that. It’s good stuff. [Music] All right, let’s try. Oh, no. No. From the side, too. You want to hit it from the side, huh? Yeah. Look at this. Hurry. Yeah. You need to come down. It’s not going to happen. Come on. I think you have to push it twice, right? No. Go down. Go down. Go down. Oh, wait. You got it. Oh, my goal is to get Muang and I’ve already spent 300. So, let’s try Muang one more time. Come on, Mudang. What a ripoff. Dang it, Mudang. You disappoint me. J, what what gashapan are you going to get? I want Bakaco. Bakaco. $400. 400 yen. Oh, what does y mean? That’s Japanese money. You ready? Wait, should I put two of these? One. Oh, only one. It’s 400. Do this right. YouTube’s watching you. Hey, Mom. I got Hello Kitty. Let’s see. Look, I got one. You got a charcoal at all. Oh, wait. They’re night lights. Wait, mom. Do they light up? We are now at our sixth unit club and they have a nice cup and noodles display over here and all their special shirts. Some more San Rio stuff. Oo, I like the ramen bowl. Karopi Star Wars and some pretty cool Japanese designs too. Shopping day number two and it’s midday here in Tokyo and we’re at Onitsuka Tiger. My cousins are shopping. Not my style, but it’s raining outside and I’ve just totally hit a midday wall. Maybe once I get some more ramen in me, we’ll be good. There’s an ichron ramen everywhere. My cousins wanted to try it, so I said, uh, well, we’ll do it again for the second time. I don’t mind it. It’s almost 3:00. We got Shabuya Sky at 5:30, but unfortunately, it’s raining, so we’re going to be up there in the rain. But hey, what can go wrong will go wrong. You still got to make it a fun time because you’re on vacation on Jation. So, these are how Onitsuka Tiger shoes look like. They kind of have these designs. very popular. As you can tell, the store is pretty cracking, guys. I ran into a fellow Padre fan and it turns out he’s a J Ker. Let’s go. What’s up? What’s up, Padres’s won? Yes, I did. Let’s go. Let’s keep it going. Nice to meet you, man. You want to shout out anyone? Shout out to the family. Shout out to Chula Vista. Shout out to East Lake Otai Ranch. Let’s get it. Let’s go. Chula Vista in the house. We waited almost an hour and a half, but we got a lot of shopping done. It’s time to eat. number. If you want to see me eat at Ichiron, watch a couple of videos back. We did it over in Osaka. The only difference from the last time is I got it as a number six and I got the extra pork chu because I am not as stuffed as I was in Osaka that day. So, let’s go. So, I usually like to have some of the ramen before I get this first couple of beer because this beer is amazing. Especially with this ramen, it just gets accentuated. Oh my god. Fire. So, traveling with a family in Tokyo, there’s five adults and three kids and we’re all spread out. I’m in this room by myself. Well, with other customers, they’re in the other side. And at least getting a little of a break from the nieces running around fighting each other. I got the extra pork chasu. I I don’t even feel bad that I went to that pig cafe last night. I ain’t going to lie. This is amazing. Number six was a great level. Amazing. That Kakuchi beer. Ye. All right, it’s almost time for us to go to Shabuya Sky. We got a 5:30 over there. It’s 4:00 right now, so we got plenty of time. number one sides came with the order already. So, we had double of everything and I’m not mad. Sorry. Number one. Hey, how was how was your number one? Say number one. Yeah. Roman Reigns, acknowledge me. Oh, your first ever. It was so good. Oh my god. I was going to eat hers, but she finished it all. Right. She was slurping it, too. Huh? It was yummy. And she’s still hungry. She said we made it over to Shabuya Sky. We booked this like 2 weeks ago and the rooftop is closed, but the indoor area is open. They offer refunds to people that are disappointed because the outdoor rooftop isn’t uh open. So, if you want that, you can do that. But if not, you’re fine with going indoors, then that’s what you do. So, we’re going to go indoors. [Music] All right. So, the entry is in the 14th floor here in Shibuya Sky. Today’s ticket sold out. The rooftop’s closed. Show your puppy. I like the puppy. Show them. [Music] When you buy your tickets for your kids five and older, it’s 1,200 yen. You have to buy it here. You can’t get your kids tickets online. Kids under five are free. So, right now, my cousin Mooney is getting her ticket for her two daughters. And this girl right here is free because she is under five. Well, we decided to cancel because there’s no visibility. Look, you can’t even see the skyline. It’s just too foggy. So, we are gonna get our money back. And I want to show you Shabuya Crossing real quick. There it is. That’s the famous Shabuya Crossing right there. Where? Right there. That corner right [Music] there. Well, you can still pick up your Shabuya Sky souvenirs over here. They really make it difficult for you to cancel. You got to go through all these hoops on the website and my cousin Winnie is doing it right now and she’s asking questions. So, we’re not going to leave until we figure out how the refund is done. But we even did some digging and they were like, “Oh, it’s simple, but it’s a little complicated. Just give us the refund.” They’re the ones that offered it. I needed to get myself a souvenir, so I had to get a Shabuya magnet. Did you get it cancelled? I did. Cancellation has been completed. You got to make sure you talk to a representative and don’t leave until you get cancelled and get an email. Make sure you get that email because get the email before you leave. We’re reading on Reddit that if you leave and you don’t get that email, uh you just won’t get your money back. That’s a little ripoffish right there. Tokyo ripoffs. Little evening pickme up before dinner. We are at the famous Shabuya Crossing. The rain has cleared up. It’s crazy over here. is going to be chaos. It’s a all crossing walkway and we’re about to get crushed. Let’s [Music] go. Here we go. Welcome to Japan. Tokyo, baby. [Music] We did it, Mike. We crossing. Yeah. to baby it. We can burn it up to [Music] take just [Music] We literally crossed Shabuya crossing like three different times. But that was fun. And it’s not raining. Two on purpose. Two on purpose, one by mistake. Now we’re heading to World of Jordan or Jordan World, something like that. We had to check out Nike Shabuya. How’s Nike, boys? Nani, she her feet are killing her, so she had to buy slides here at Nike. It’s all good. Now your feet feel good. You ready to go? You ready to rock? Let’s do it. So, this Nike Shabuya actually does the Nike customs where you can get custom shirt. They even have the hats where you can put patches on it, but you need appointments and reservations. So, you can’t just come here and do it, unfortunately. We made it to Jordan World. It’s about a 10-minute walk though from Shabuya in the rain. Look at the entrance here. Jump man. Jump man. That boy up that zone and woo. Oh wow. It’s all about Luca right now too. Look at all the Luca stuff. Here it is. And we are wearing a Jordan PSG rain jacket today. Heck yeah. They got the World of Flight Jordan special shirts over here. They even have the red ones. Look at that. They got the red hoodie. Dude, if I if I waited till today, I would have bought the red hoodie. That hoodie is sick. Nah, can’t buy too many. Oh, and they got patches, too. So, I’m going to try on the Luca, the bad Luca 4. Try it on. We’ll get a sticker, too, if we do it. Oh, nice. Trying on the bad Luca fours. Oh, wow. Feel nice. Nice. Good. They feel good. Yeah. Start uh light up. You touch. So, but we don’t know the like where where it’s going to go. Okay. There’s just three. That’s it. Seven. That’s bad, huh? It’s good. It’s good. All right. I’m good. No, it’s perfect. Thank you. Thank you. So, these are the Luca fours. I got the bad Luca sticker. Let’s go. So, we’re doing uh Jordan Customs. My cousin’s going to grab a couple one for the kids. I’m just going to do the hats. Over in the back over here, they have ton of Jordan pictures and shoes and memorabilia. And then they have a content studio over here. And then they have all the different types of Jordans down here. The breads. Got those. Those are the twelves. I got those in a different color. There it is. Mike Jordan. So, it’s raining. We decided to take a Uber taxi to our restaurant. We’re going to have some steak tonight. They’re in the back. I’m in the front. This is a trip. We’re on the opposite side of the road just like in London. And uh we’re going to a place called Yaki Niku Restaurant, Beef and Craftsman Yotssuya Tokyo. Made it to dinner. We’re about 10 minutes from our Airbnb. This place is called Beef Times Craftsman. And we wanted some barbecue steak today. So, this is what we’re getting. And I’m in the middle of the street. I actually just reserved this 4 hours ago. Got a table for eight. So, let’s try some Japanese steak. It almost feels like we’re at a KBBQ place, but we’re in Japan. We just brushed it. Yeah. All right. There’s our grill. There’s the vacuum. And this is our chef for the night. Boy, how it’s done. I’m enjoying. She’s just being mom tonight. And Oleg is working the other table cuz Mooney is just gonna get drunk off sake tonight. Yeah. No one’s driving. Cheers. [Music] Don’t buy. Okay. Here. What are those? Water. Hot water. Adult water. That’s good. That’s strong. That’s good. We got some hot sake for five. Okay. What do we want to try? Time to cook. All right. So, Mike got some stuff on the grill here. We got the top loin to start. We nice thin slice right there. The top loin. I like how that vacuum just like sucks it up. Is this just like the start of it or are we going to get more or is this like what we ordered? Oh, nice. Okay, so that’s what the that whole portion was. So, it’s usually just two, but since we did three, they put three. [Music] I want it to be nice. Yeah, that looks nice, too. It is this one. How much is one of these house? I just feel like scissors. See that? Mike knows what he’s doing. Oh, this smells delicious. This does smell good. Shout out to Mike for making the cook cooking it. Cut it in three. Look at that. [Music] Top loin. Top loin. What is that one next? And that’s with the sauce flavor. It’s already It’s flavored nicely. You could actually have sauce right here if you want to use sauce. Oh yeah. season. That’s what it’s called. Yeah. I don’t think maybe you’re telling us that’s how you eat it. Then we got some rice with it, too. Oh my god. It’s good. That’s really good. I know it’s good. Yeah. You don’t even need to put any sauce or anything on this. Let’s put some wasabi. Will never be the same. Where’s the wasabi? Baby, get a little bit of that wasabi. [Music] Is good. That’s good. You’re just coming, mama. That’s for the win. Getting the round two. This meat is called the vertical rose. So, the vertical rose is a thicker cut of meat. Oh, it smells good, too. Vertical rose. A little thicker. Thank you. Definitely a little fattier piece of the meat. That’s why it’s a little thicker. But if you do add some wasabi to it, add some wasabi to it. Wasabi good. Mhm. I didn’t try yet. This is a little good though. This watashi wasabi. Wasabi. Watashi wasabi. So, excuse us if we’re getting this wrong because we’re using Google Translate. But upper misuji. Try. So, the upper misuji is really good. It’s thinner. It’s glossy and flossy. What is the difference? You guys are probably like, “What the heck’s the upper misuji?” Like, J is drunk again. Dang. These guys drank two shots of saki and they’re asking if cows eat meat. So, this is called Ichipo. Apparently, the cows eat the olives. Ichipo. Like a masculine. So they eat olives. They eat milk. They eat milk. Is a pies and rare cut specifically from the shoulder. I got a producer named Mooney feeding me information. So if it’s wrong, blame Google. Blame Google. How are cows fat if they’re so vegan? That is true. That is true. You said this is like the a shoulder pony. This one looks super fatty. It’s thinner, but it looks fatty. Right. That one looks good. Thanks, dude. Mhm. All right, let’s try this. It’s a little fattier. Compliments to the chef. [Music] Sab. Wait, I’m in the Philippines. This is a Japan series. Sorry, guys. Good. I need some more wasabi. This one is called red meat kaburi. Very thin. This is probably the thinnest of them all. But the marble on it was really nice. Oh wow. Fatty melt in your mouth. It’s like a outer ribeye or something like that. These are made out of That’s good. It’s going good with the rice, too. Second to last meat is called rib cover and it’s like yoshinoya thin. That’s the one right before. This one was probably my my least favorite. The last one. The second last one. This is a Japanese round Wagyu cap kaburi. Oh, it’s nice and warm. [Music] This one’s a little thicker. It’s good. Yeah, it’s more lean. A little thick. You got a little more pushing for the cushions. This place was amazing. I would definitely recommend it. 10 out of 10. And it’s an 11minute walk from our Airbnb. That steak was fire. If y’all are wondering if it’s super safe to walk. I mean, like any other city, you always got to be vigilant, right? But it is pretty safe. And uh we’re walking back to our Airbnb around 9 at night on a Sunday. And it is pretty peaceful and the streets are clean and there’s still people passing by us. Even though it’s sprinkling, still nice out. The next day. Good morning, JKers. We are here in our Airbnb. I’m going to give you a little tour before we leave. So, we stayed here for three nights, Friday to Saturday. We’re in the Shinjjuku area, and this fit eight people. We paid 1,200 bucks. So, let’s give you a little tour before we have to move over to Disney. This is the living room, TV, and then this is where you actually check in, and you actually have to call somebody on this iPad and show them your passport and show them that it’s you. and everybody had to do it in the house, which was a little unique and weird. And we got shelving over here. These actually turned into beds you put onto the floor. And you got more benches here. We hung out a lot over at this dining table. You got everything. Huge trash cans, recycle bins, conventional ovens, microwave, huge refrigerator, full kitchen, and then we did bunks. We did bunks. Four bunks. I slept in this the first night, but it was really uncomfortable, so I slept on that one the second night. Closet space. And then we got the restroom here. And then there’s one bedroom. And this is the sink area and the shower and your heated toilet and the bedroom. Now we’re going. It’s called Hotel Inai Shinjuku. And another thing that’s cool is the washer and dryer combination. We use that and they also give you slippers. Okay, got to go. We got to go. We got to go. We got to go. So, this was our Airbnb and we are literally here in Shinjuku. Our Uber is coming. But look how close to Lawson is and the Family Mart just right there every morning. We are on our way to Tokyo Myama area where Disney is and we’re checking into our hotels. Uh we took an Uber in from the city in Shinjjuku to Tokyo Myama and it was about 12,700 yen and it’s so much easier especially if you have luggage, kids and family with you. Definitely not the best way to go if you’re solo, but if you’re with groups and family, this is probably the best way to go. You could also do luggage service if you want to just send your luggage over to your hotel, but uh we’re just going to Uber over. There’s some remnants of Sakura season. We just hit the tail end of it here in Tokyo, but we did get to see a lot of it in Osaka and Kyoto. Seeing Tokyo from a car is a lot of way different experience than from a foot or down in the subway. You get more of your bearings by seeing how more vast it is while you’re driving around. [Music] This is the uh Disneyland Hotel right here. Beautiful. It’s so cool seeing a different Disney. And there’s a Disney tram stop right [Music] here. We made it to the Disney Ambassador Hotel. This is where my cousins are staying. I am off property a little I got my own room. We’ll be checking that out a little later, but I’ll give you a tour of this place at some [Music] point. So, this is the Disney Ambassador Hotel. Really beautiful lobby. Then, if you even if you look in the ceiling, look at that. They even have the Disneyland Ambassador Hotel up top. Still a little early, but my cousins are going to drop off our bags, and then we’re going to go back into the city. Today’s not actually a Disney day. Today’s more of a drop off our bags, check in, and then go back into town. Look at all the cool Disney memorabilia that they have here. This is what I grew up watching, Mickey Mouse Club. That’s why I’m such a Justin Timberlake fan. And then you got Mickey Mouse here. They got a convenience store, Disney Festival, Disney. This is like a classic. You’re in a golden hotel. It’s almost like Alani but not. So Mun was saying that if you have valuables like laptops and iPads, they have a room where you can actually leave it in a safe before you check in. So you don’t have to worry about it if you don’t have a room and it being in your luggage. Let’s go. Look at the girls. Show us that watching TV already here in the lobby. My cousin Winnie said that it’s 4 months in advance to reserve and you have to be Pacific time 6:00 p.m. on the Disney website just to get a hotel and it’s very competitive. They sell out right away. And you got a junior suite. Yes, a junior suite here at the Disney Ambassador for $500 a night for seven people. Yeah. So, that’s a pretty good deal um if you get it early obviously for reservations. Was it super hard? Yes, super super hard. It was like getting Taylor Swift tickets. T Swift. Let’s go. I’m not a Swifty. It’s like Beyonce tickets. Wow. So, staying at the Disney Ambassador has several perks. Uh they get about 15inute happy entry in both Disneyland Park and Disney Sea. So, um another benefit of staying here, the Disney Ambassador. Currently, Tokyo Disneyland only allows happy entry to Disneyland and not Disney Se. So, make sure you check the website to make sure you get updated information. There you go. Mooney knows what’s up. And uh 15 minutes doesn’t sound like a lot, but it helps. Believe me, because the regular line is going to be crazy. Yep. For sure. So, you’ll see this in the next vlog, not today’s vlog. If you look at the seats, they have tons of hidden Mickeys. Look, hidden Mickeys. We’re headed over to My Hama Station because we’re headed back into the city. We had to pass through Xpi, which is Downtown Disney of Tokyo. Ooh, before I leave, I got to try McDonald’s at least once. All right, we got to take the J line. We’re headed to Asakusa, an area of Tokyo I haven’t been to yet. Forget that other guy. This is Udarvish. He’s promoting Alvin Breeze. Go Padres, baby. Let’s go. You. That makes me so happy seeing you Darvish. Here. There goes that Japanese Montreal. We’re going to have to take that. You actually have to pay to ride that. I should support you and buy some almond [Music] breeze. We just made it to the neighborhood of Asakusa, which I heard you get a little older taste of Japan here within Tokyo. And there’s a market with seafood and a lot of good shopping over here. I’ve actually never made it over here, but my cousins stayed here their first night while I was still in Osaka. And we’re going to explore. It’s about 12:30 in the afternoon. Time to grab some lunch. Look at this street, Kanduri. Tons of restaurants. Looks like quick eats, too. There’s Tokyo Skytree in the distance. And it looks like a long pair. I don’t know what that is. Oh, man. This place is full of tourists from all over the world. See some Kobe beef over there from Coobe. Looks like a lot of good food around here. I’m going to have to eat. And thank god the sun came out today. Yesterday was kind of sad with the rain. This walkway has a bunch of vendors. You got your cherry blossoms on both sides. Pretty cool. I’ve seen this on YouTube. Yeah, this entire area right here is wild. Oh, look. There’s a TV show being filmed. Look at that. There another temple here at the end. There is Sensoji Temple. Got a lot of people wearing kimodos over here. There’s incense flowing around here. Apparently, it’s supposed to take out the bad energy. According to my producer right here, Mooney, she’s googling everything for me. Burner. Originally, the smoke was to cleanse your body before entering the temple. But over time, this changed into an understanding that the smoke will make the bad parts of your body better. Every part of my body is bad. So, man, look at how big these incense are. Peep the good energy. There’s a lot of fortune things that you could do over here, too. Ooh, that smells nice. So many people in here. The Senoji Temple was completed in 645 and it’s Tokyo’s oldest. Was built in honor of Canon, the goddess of mercy. What did you get? Strawberry. What kind is it called? Frozen. Yum. Wow. Just exited the temple and we’re on the side area looking for a restaurant to eat some lunch. There’s so many nice matcha spots around here. Matcha heaven. Check out this giant donkeyote in Asakusa. Uh-oh, I lost my cousins. Oh, there they are. Can’t lose the cousins. We got to stick together. Hidden next to a fourth floor Daiso in a department store is the flagship of Kura Sushi. It’s the revolving sushi restaurant. So, can’t go to Japan without trying one. So, you got to register right here. They said it’s about 10 minutes. I’m getting yelled at by this machine right now. It doesn’t look crazy busy at the moment. Look at how huge this kura sushi is. Really cool decorations. And this is their waiting area before they seat you. And there’s the revolving sushi. We just got sat down. And when your number gets called, you have to go to an iPad right by all the crazy faces. Click that you’re checking in and then it’ll print out two receipts and say the number of the tables you’re sitting at. We had to do four and four because there’s eight of us. And uh you just go to that number. So it’s totally self-sufficient. And then you get the iPad and then you start ordering or you just start grabbing from uh the first level. So you can start grabbing sushimi and then it’ll tell you the price as it passes by. There’s two ways you could do this. You could order on the iPad or you can just grab on the first level. If you order through your iPad, it’ll go on the upper shelf, the revolving sushi on the bottom shelf. You could just grab it and it’ll charge your table. I got hungry, so I’m just started grabbing random things that look good on the revolving sushi. So, we’re just going to play guessing games. Oh, that’s not Here you go. The beers came quick. Yeah. Cheers, Kai. Pumpai. Yum. Okay. Whatever this first one was, it looks like there’s some sort of squid or octopus. That’s yummy. There’s even some peppers in here. And I put the wasabi. Oh, it’s probably going up my nose. Come. I’m going to try this. Uh [Music] Oh, there’s ginger in that. It’s like a seared ai. What’s JK going to get here? What is that with an egg? I’m going to get one of these. I’m going to get the other chicken. Okay, let’s see what we ended up getting here. It looks good. There’s a egg. M. It’s warm. If I could read Japanese, I’d tell you what it is, but suggestion game. If you need to clear room in your table and clear the plates, you just slide that right in. So, we got the white salmon miso soup from the kitchen. Oh, it’s tasty. Oh, you got the white salmon in there, too. This is awesome. You could just go crazy over here with sushi. Soup. Soup. High five. I don’t know what we’re ordering, but now I get it. It will say what you ordered on the iPad. That’s eel and egg right there. That’s you. Yes, sir. I’m going to give Mike the chance to to do one review on the eel and egg sushi here. See that right there? We got the little bit of wet yolk and the chopped eel. How much was it? 150 in. Most of these are 150. How’s the eel? Good. M. It was really good. Different being chopped up. Got the juicy slimy egg yolk. Delicious. It’s like a different type of egg yolk in Japan, man. Yeah, for sure. Some good stuff. Top quality stuff. Not like the expensive eggs back home. This is shrimp pasture. And check this out. We played a game and we warm up. Oh, we won. Hey, look. We won. And we won. Oh, hey, we’re eating so much. Yeah. Let’s see what it is. He’s going to do a review. Okay. He’s going to do a review. Hold on. I’ll give it to Nia after we review it. Let me see what it is. Bruce, it’s paper. Is it free milk? Oh, no. Oh, that uh she might th a choking hazard. We can’t give this to Nia. That’s cute. Does she want more beans or fries? Sakuru sushi. It looks like Uncle JJ’s keeping this. Cool. So, we won. Final thing we’re trying out is their hamburger steak sushi. After this, I’m maxed out. Got like a sweet glaze mayonnaise teriyak. It’s all right. Let’s stick to the seafood. All right. We ate way too much. We’re calling it. Looks like we got 27 plates between the four of us and one’s a baby. I just inserted a plate and it looks like we just won another game. One word for kura sushi, dangerous. You’re just grabbing the plates off the conveyor belts and you don’t even know how much you’ve eaten. And then next thing you know, you get up and stand up and you’re like, “Dude, I think I just gained like 5 lbs.” Very good. You guys know I’m not very into sushi, but you wouldn’t think so after having all the sushi that I had today. So, thumbs up to the flagship here. And we’re going to check out more of Asakusa, do a little more shopping, and then tonight head back to Disneyland. This right here is just what we’ve we ordered, not even everything that we picked up. So, we’ll see exactly what we picked up. Mike, you’re telling me we only spent $63 and all that food? 63 bucks for three people and a baby. Six beers, a lot of sushi, couple rolls, some eel, some eel, soup, popcorn, chicken, French fries. Dang. Good job. Pretty good. And we got water, too, over here. So, if you’re looking for the regular water, it’s over here. If you need napkins, they’re down below here as well. So, my cousin said that we needed to try this melon pan with either cream or ice cream. And I saw that matcha melon pan. This place is called Kajetsudo and it closes at 4:00 for a little indoor area here. That melon pan really smells good. So once you pay, they will give you a ticket. Then you switch it off over here and you get your melon pan. Oh, nice. Dang. Vanilla ice cream. Matcha. Matcha. Yep. Thank you. That’s the winner right there. What’s up? Delicious. You definitely need to eat it with ice cream. The melon pan is one of the best around, but with ice cream, game over. Top notch. All right, let’s see the other family eating the ice cream. Really good. All right, we got the matcha melon tan. It’s nice and warm. You got the swirl of the matcha ice cream. That’s what’s up. That’s that matcha life. Nice top crunch to the melon pond. The ice cream just accentuates it even more. Nice little ice cream sandwich after Kura sushi. This fortune thing right now. And if you drew a bad portion, you have to tie it to this rack. This one is bad. It’s a bad one. There’s 100 yen for the wish. So you drop it in here. Did you pray? I did. All right. Now shake that. Yeah. Shake a lot of I hope you get good question like me. Several times. Do it lightly so one comes out. Oh. All right. What number do you have? 24 like Kobe. Oh, okay. Well, 24 is my friend Kobe Bean. It’s tell you, but I also have the same number. It’s good. I didn’t get a high. I also have the same. Three women shouldn’t meet together as they talk too loudly. One, two, three. Wait, what? Though they exchange the words, promise those will never be realized. The departed soul will not come. Oh, I need to get rid of I was the only one that got good fortune. See that? I got stuck with three of these women right here. My my nieces and my cousin. They gave me bad fortune. It was three of us. I’m doing a different booth. I believe I can fly. I I believe I can. Number one. Is that good? Is that number one? Oh, wait, wait. I think it’s all the way at the end. Numero uno. Ichi. Oh my gosh. Let’s see. Best fortune. What does it say? The tower of clo with seven treasures is standing in a stately manner upon the high summit. People will look at it and praise it. Your portraiture is just like this tower. When you look at it more carefully, your fortune will be more excellent. Oh, you got this egg. I My request will be I know. I just had matcha melon pen. They have this ube sweet potato soft serve. I’m going to have to try this. I’m too much of an ube lover. These are all different types of sweet potatoes, candied yam. But I need to try that ube. It’s like a sweet potato ube. It’s like ubeish. It’s not really ube. It’s like a sweet potato yam. Purple yam. That’s pretty good, though. That’s good. It’s more vanillaish. Yeah. Strawberry. I like it. I like it. That’s tasty. That’s good. That’s a winner. 400 yen only. We just finished at yet another Uniqlo. We’re going to go to another Donkey Hot. Yay. Well, this time I’m actually going to start buying stuff cuz I’m running out of time after Disneyland. I got to go home. We are entering Donkeyote Donkey to I need that. I need a basket. See, there’s my guy. That’s my guy, Bruno. This is probably my last Donkeyote trip, so I got to get a bunch of stuff that I’ve been eyeing. It’s pretty crazy over here at the Asakusa Donkeyote. So colorful over here. Look, they even have SD hats over here. Padres’s baby. Look at the taxree line right here. And look at all the stuff we ended up getting. Look at Mooney. Mooney, show your stuff. So happy. So, we did tons of damage over at Donkey Ho, but we did a taxree. Taxree is for the people that obviously don’t live here in Japan. And one thing that I did note is they’re going to ask you at checkout, what do you want to pay for tax free or what are you not going to use while in Japan? So if there’s something that you want to use in Japan, they can’t give you the tax free for some reason at Donkey Ho. They’ll separate that with the stuff that they seal. And when they seal it, that’s the way you have to keep it until you go home. That’s just how they do it. Show the bag, Mooney. It’s heavy. It’s like 100 pounds. So you can’t unseal that. Beauty cosmetics. That’s why. Interesting. a little longer than a few minutes later. So from Asakusa, it took us like an hour and a half just to get back to Disneyland because we missed like our train started beering off to the east for like two stops and then I noticed it when I looked at my Google maps and Mooney was like, “Oh crap.” So we had to switch platforms and 2 hours later we’re back. We’re back in Tokyo Disney. So, make sure you’re always checking your Google Maps because you might veer off and end up in Hiroshima. Well, guys, I think tonight’s the night I finally try McDonald’s. We’re going to get the McDonald’s. Xpiari is like the Downtown Disney of Tokyo. I must try McD at least once before I leave. All right, let’s see how McDonald’s is in Japan. It’s on and popping on a Monday night here. Makdu. Well, they got stuff like bacon potato pies, teriyak burgers, matcha lattes. Okay. Burgers with eggs in them. Yes, please. Look at this. They have a or roll cake with Oreo cookie. Uh-huh. Oh, they even have macarons. [Music] Yeah. We made it to my hotel. This is the Tokyo Bay Myama first hotel. And we got the lukewarm McDonald’s here, which we’re going to try. I said I had to try McDonald’s at least once while I’m here. Like I said, my cousins are staying at the Disney Ambassador. It’s a nice room, but it’s a super small room. So, I ended up getting a room about 15 minutes away. It was kind of a trick to get here, and I even checked in at the wrong hotel because there’s a Tokyo Myama Bay that is almost the same uh spelling as this hotel. I don’t know. It’s 10 at night. I’m tired. Let’s try their chicken nuggets. See if there’s any difference. It’s about the same as America chicken nuggets wise. Maybe the bacon potato pie will be a little [Music] different. M. It’s good, but there’s nothing really in the [Music] inside. It’s more air than anything on the inside. I finished the French fries cuz I was hungry over at my cousin’s place. And I also finished the matcha latte, which is actually really good. I would say thumbs up to the matcha latte. I just wish this bacon potato pie wasn’t as airy and it was filled more because it’s actually a pretty decent taste. All right, we’re going to try this wet hamburger. Doesn’t look very appetizing, but there is an egg in it with cheese, mayonnaise. Got to put ketchup in my my burger. All right, let’s see if it’s any good. The napkins are not good at all. It’s a little sweeter of a burger, but it’s not bad. Is it any different from McDonald’s in America? might be a little bit better, but it was all right. Matcha latte was good. Baked potato pie. If it wasn’t as airy, I would say yeah, I got to unpack. I’m here for three nights. All right, Jishners. I think I’m going to call it a night here from the Tokyo Myama First Hotel. It’s definitely a cruise ship theme. You got life vests here on the wall, paddles, some life wraps, and floaties. We’ll give you a tour of this in an upcoming video. We’re going to be in Disneyland for the next 3 days. So, please like, comment, subscribe. It was really fun going to Asakuso for today. Love seeing that older style of Tokyo for once instead of the new age of it. Curo was definitely awesome. That revolving sushi crept up on me, man. I could just kept getting more and more and more and I don’t really eat sushi that much, so I was surprised that I really truly did enjoy it. So, it was fun hanging out with the cousins. We did a little shopping at Doniote and Uniqlo and we’ll probably do a little more before this trip is over. It was an adventure getting in and out and we’ll talk more and give you guys some travel tips on Disneyland Tokyo and Disney coming up. So stay tuned. Please like, comment, subscribe and we’ll see you guys in the next one. And in the words of me, stay traveling Tokyo.

This is a jam-packed episode. You and the family covered so many places, food, and adventures. It was very enjoyable to watch and tag along with you all. Thanks, Jay, and have a great one…

I know that Kura revolving sushi is a popular chain but I don't think I would ever want to try it. I'm a sushi snob and I don't trust their fish quality. ๐
That was a long video, and I it in 2 parts. I do think packed alot traveel with your wonderful family. The steak of Korean barecue restaurants here in the USA,that seen videos of. The Suschi place looked fun,yet I'm a big Suschi fan, unless it cooked. Is it your first time going to Tokoyo Disney? I hopw everything has a good time there. How could they not,as it's Disney? Right?

Happy Matcha Day! I enjoy Kura restaurant near my home. ๐ Sushi and Sapparos. ๐ฃ ๐บ ๐ Awesome cousin sake shots! ๐ถ
LOVE this video. Japan is the place I always want to go back to. Itโs a beautiful place, culture, with nice people. Itโs a bonus that you got to meet up with family!
I heard people pronounce โASAKUSAโ as โa sock-suhโ with the โuโ kinda silent. Itโs really tricky
Japan was my chance to get MrsLaTruce into sushi, and I dropped the ball. I took her to the ONE bad spot in the whole Japan lol
There was a sushi spot where it takes the plates to count. And after every 8-9 plates, it gives you a gashapon
Edit: yourโs had it too!! Just commented before the end lol
Edit: just realized itโs the same sushi spot I went to in Glendale lol Kura
Loved this style of vlog. You saw so much cool stuff! That thing about keeping your stuff sealed (Don Quixote) for the airport or some tax deduction type of thing is helpful infos!
Lovin the japan series jay.
Awesome job jay drop a like for you see tomorrow
What a cool Cuz-cation vlog๐. All the food looks ๐ฅ but that revolving sushi looks awesome plus what a great deal especially for a family ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ. That Melon Pan, is it like a stuffed Concha bread? I'm the same way…gotta put ketchup on my burgers !!! Right on bro. Salud ๐ป
