センチュリーマリーナ函館のロイヤルスイートが豪華すぎた…絶景温泉&朝食も最高! Century Marina Hakodate’s Royal Suite was so luxurious..

Hello everyone, this is Ryo. This time, I will be reviewing in detail the hotel that I briefly introduced in this video about my trip to Hakodate. I think this hotel will make your stay in Hakodate luxurious, so I hope you will read to the end. Let’s get started! The hotel we will introduce this time is Century Marina Hakodate In terms of location, it is about a 5-minute walk from Hakodate Station
and about a 10-minute walk from the bay area where the Red Brick Warehouse is located. It is also close to Seaport Park and the Hakodate Morning Market, making it the perfect location for sightseeing in Hakodate. Furthermore, the view from the higher floors of the hotel is spectacular. This time we stayed in a corner room with a panoramic view of Mount Hakodate and Hakodate Port. The hotel is currently being expanded, with the addition of special rooms with open-air baths and private saunas, restaurants, and more, and is set to be renovated into a huge resort hotel in August of this year. It’s a really trendy hotel. Let’s go inside. Century Marina Hakodate is a relatively new hotel that opened in 2019. It is a luxury hotel that boasts sophisticated design and high-quality service. This ceiling art seems to represent the bottom of a luxury cruise liner. Welcome drinks are also served in the lobby lounge. There are also currency exchange machines and PC booths available. It is a very stylish building and a luxurious hotel. There are 20 types of rooms in total, with 286 rooms, from affordable to luxurious, and it is used by a wide range of people. There are also rooms on the first floor where you can stay with your dog. Now, let’s go to the room. The room I was staying in was on the 13th floor, Royal Floor, so I checked in with the guidance of the concierge. It was cherry blossom season and the lobby was very crowded, so this was very helpful. As it is the largest room in the hotel, the entrance is spacious and feels like an atelier. So let’s take a quick look at the room. It’s a room so big that I don’t even know how many tatami mats it has. When you open the curtains, you’ll find a large, panoramic corner window with a view of Mount Hakodate and Hakodate Port. The Royal Suite is the only room with a corner window that offers this magnificent view. This is a premium room where only one group can stay per day. Below you can see Seaport Park, home to the Squid Monument and the Mashu Maru Memorial Ship. This pier also serves as a mooring point for luxury cruise ships from various countries. I was fascinated by the amazing view, Continuing the room tour The luxurious marble counter by the window provides a space where you can relax and enjoy the view. A huge sofa with indirect lighting at the foot of the chair When you turn off the lights in the room at night, this will create a moody atmosphere with the night view as the background. There is even a Dyson fan heater. And there are a lot of things hidden in this back counter. Hokkaido milk, soft drinks, and alcohol are also available. This is a complimentary chocolate. In addition, wine bottles, whiskey, and snacks are also available, but these will be charged. Please note that this refrigerated wine also comes with a charge. And what’s more… The TV was stored so that you could enjoy the view from the bed. It’s a very well thought out room. Now let’s look at the bed. This room has two queen-size beds, each 1600cm wide. Even though it has two double beds, it’s still very spacious and luxurious. The mattress was luxurious and comfortable. And this is a wonderful view. I agree that the TV is a bit of a distraction. There is a counter table behind the bed space, which can be used as a workspace. And here we have a coffee maker that can make 12 different kinds of coffee. In addition, tea etc. were prepared under the coffee capsules. It would be nice to have coffee at this counter with some original cookies. Next, let’s look at storage. It has a large walk-in closet. You can move around the building in this room wear. A towel set and laundry bag are also provided for use in the large public bath. There is also a shelf for the carry case, which makes it easy to take things in and out of the case. Bathrobes and nightwear were also provided. Now let’s look at sanitary When you enter the sanitary area, the first thing you will see on your left is the toilet. A stylish tiled toilet. On the other side there is a spacious double sink. Men’s cosmetics For women, it’s Sekkisei. There are plenty of towels available too. From the front window you can see Mount Hakodate and the city of Hakodate. There aren’t many rooms in a location like this. The shower room is also spacious. Overhead shower The bathroom is even equipped with a Mirable ultra-fine bubble shower faucet. How luxurious is that? And this hotel has its own hot spring water. Because it is a chloride spring containing iron ions, it is brown in color and has a high salt concentration and is salty. However, it is odorless as it does not contain sulfur. Now, as a hot spring sommelier, I will explain the hot spring ingredients. This is the hot spring analysis report for Century Marina Hakodate. First of all, the hot spring springs from underground of this hotel. The spring temperature is 58 degrees, which is a little hot. The flow rate is 323 liters per minute. This equates to 2,300 drums worth of water gushing out in one day. The hydrogen ion concentration is neutral at pH 6.2, so it is not very irritating. And here’s what you should pay attention to When the mineral content of a hot spring exceeds 1,000 mg/kg, it becomes a medical spring that is more than just a simple hot spring and is recognized as having special indications. This hot spring contains a high concentration of 26,000mg of this ingredient, and is highly absorbed by the body. This is about three times the mineral concentration of the famous Yunokawa Onsen in Hakodate, one of Hokkaido’s three major hot spring resorts, which contains about 8,000 mg of mineral content. Is your explanation too long? No, well, it’ll be over soon 💦 The spring quality is sodium chloride strong salt hot spring, which has a high heat retention effect and is suitable for neuralgia, poor circulation, cuts, etc. And, although it is not specifically stated in the analysis, this hot spring has a significant effect on beautifying the skin. In addition to the cleansing effect of bicarbonate, the spring also contains moisturizing chloride springs and sulfates, making it the perfect spring for beautiful skin, as it not only removes dead skin cells but also covers the skin with moisturizing ingredients. The best part is, The amount of metasilicic acid, a natural skin-beautifying ingredient, is 130mg/kg, making this a super-beautifying hot spring with strong moisturizing powers. In fact, when you soak in the bath, you can feel how slippery it is and realize that it is a powerful hot spring. The spring water is quite hot, so you will need to adjust the temperature by massaging it or adding water, but since it is a rich hot spring, adding water will not cause any problems. It’s cluttered and noisy! Oh no, please forgive me. Now that I’ve been scolded, I’ll stop talking here and go for a walk around the museum. The first place we visited was the souvenir shop on the second floor. Here you can find a wide selection of souvenirs that can only be purchased here, including original hotel sweets and miscellaneous goods.
It seems they sell merchandise for the Hokkaido idol, Shimaenaga, as well as fashionable clothing, mugs, and even ceramics. This is a hotel where dogs can stay, so they also sell dog food. We also bought Shiroi Koibito and high-quality jams. There is also a pillow bar where you can rent pillows of various thicknesses and hardness, as well as an aroma bar to make your stay and sleep in your room more comfortable. Next we went to Spy on the 14th floor. There are restaurants here where you can eat light meals such as Hakodate ramen, sea urchin rice bowls, and hakoyaki, an Akashiyaki dish made with squid instead of octopus. Photography is prohibited inside the large public bath, so we cannot show you the inside, but the huge indoor bath is of course fed by our own hot spring water, and you can enjoy the hot springs at your leisure while looking out at Hakodate Port. Additionally, if you go up the stairs from the indoor bath floor to the 15th floor, you will find the open-air bath on the top floor of the hotel. The open-air bath on a high floor is roofless and extremely comfortable, offering a magnificent view both day and night. Of course, it is a perfect spa with a sauna. After your bath, you can relax in this stylish lounge. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel, but had crab dishes at a seafood restaurant in the city. The hotel will also be opening a seafood robatayaki and charcoal grill restaurant in July of this year. After enjoying the night view of Mt. Hakodate, enjoy a cocktail at the hotel bar. If you stay in a room on the Royal Floor, you can enjoy Hokkaido craft beer, wine, cocktails, and more for free at this bar. The menu is quite extensive so I think you will be satisfied. I was a little drunk so I went for a walk to Seaport Park. It has a nice atmosphere, but it’s a bit dark and there are no handrails,
so if you drink too much it’s dangerous so it’s best not to come here. And the night view from the room was quite romantic. After a morning walk and a visit to the Hakodate Morning Market, we will have breakfast at the hotel. These are pesticide-free vegetables grown under LED lights. It looks like we can expect a lot! Century Marina Hakodate serves breakfast in buffet style. The hotel is highly rated by many guests for its luxurious atmosphere and wide variety of menu items. In addition, with a concept of a healthy breakfast, the restaurant offers a full range of health-conscious menu items using fresh local vegetables and seafood. It was very crowded even at 7am, but since we were staying on the Royal Floor, we were given priority access to a private room. It was quite crowded and it was a hassle to take photos, so I will just show you the atmosphere of the buffet floor. There are over 150 different dishes to choose from, so even if you stay multiple nights it’s difficult to try them all.
It was so popular that I couldn’t take a photo, but the seafood bowl here is famous for being topped with as much fresh salmon roe, salmon, tuna, scallops, squid, and more as you like. For now, I’ve got a salad
and grilled sea urchin rice balls with special dashi sauce. If you stay on the Royal Floor, you can order two items from a special menu in addition to the buffet. We ordered medium fatty tuna, scallops, shrimp, and abalone sashimi. Hokkaido beef loin steak, Special eggs Benedict with snow crab, And French toast. The buffet is delicious, but this special menu gives you a VIP feel. We also enjoyed the piping hot clam miso soup. Well, even so, It was an amazing breakfast that felt like a full course dinner. Well, that was the review of Century Marina Hakodate. What did you think? A unique and spectacular view of Mt. Hakodate and Hakodate Port. Stylish and well-equipped hotel and guest rooms, A sumptuous breakfast buffet where you can enjoy the seasonal flavors of Hokkaido,
It was a charming hotel. In addition, the hotel’s privately-sourced hot springs, which even hot spring enthusiasts would be pleased with, can be enjoyed in the open-air bath on the top floor, making this a truly luxurious resort facility. This is a popular hotel in a convenient location for sightseeing in Hakodate, so if you want a room with a good view, we recommend you make your reservation early.
