Where to stay in Fukuoka – 3 Hotels Close to Hakata Train Station
Are you visiting Fukuoka for the first time or just for a short visit? Then we recommend staying near Hakata station, the main train station of Fukuoka. This way, you will have access to all transport options like the JR train line, the subway connecting to the airport, and car rentals. In this video, we’ll show you three hotel options in different price categories that are close to Akata station and that offer good value for a relaxing stay. Keep in mind that hotel rates can vary a lot in Japan. Weekdays can be quite affordable and usually in weekends and high seasons prices explode. We usually book expensive hotels during weekdays and one of the cheaper chains on the weekends. Okay, let’s start with number one, the closest and the cheapest one, the Quintessa Relax and Sleep. It’s only a 7-minute walk from Hakata Station. We booked this hotel just for one night as sort of a transit hotel before we start exploring Kyushu by car. The room itself is a little on the smaller side and we paid 11,300 yen for one night including breakfast. As you can see, it has everything you need and for just one or two nights, it’s a good option. Breakfast was included and it was a really good buffet. They offered fresh ingredients, drinks, and more. So, let’s check out more and the rest of the [Music] hotel. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Music] In conclusion, it’s a very nice hotel for a short stay. They offer a good breakfast and it’s super easy to explore the city with public transport from Hakata station. Our second hotel is the more expensive one, but an amazing choice, the Nishasu Chrome Hotel. It’s located at about a 10-minute walk from the station or one metro stop away with the station being right below the hotel. Also, the Canal City Mall is super close by. This hotel is ideally located right in the action and within walking distance to beautiful canals and the Nakasu food stall street. This fairly newbuilt hotel is beautifully decorated with a lobby on the second floor and a big info board. That should work right. We booked a twin room tatami area and this cost us 22,500 yen per night and breakfast cost 1,800 yen extra. We absolutely love the room, especially the blend of Japanese simplicity combined with modern tech and a pretty big bathroom with a separate wet room. Let’s take a look at what else there is in the hotel. [Music] In conclusion, it’s a great hotel. You pay a little extra, but you get a modern hotel with a good location right in the action, and it’s still pretty close to the station. Our last option is a middle option, both medium pricriced and distanced. Prince S Martin. It’s about an 8-minute walk from the station. It’s in a relaxing and quiet area of the center. And with the right price, this hotel is our favorite chain in Japan. It’s a very modern hotel where modern meets simplicity and everything you need for a good night’s sleep. We booked a twin room for 14,750 yen per night, including breakfast. And as a side note, that is the maximum we would pay, not more. The room has this modern meat simplicity embodied and even comes with separate shower and modern Japanese toilet. You always get a breakfast when booking. And here is a choice of three burger style buns. We chose the egg salad with the iced coffee. Here are some more things the hotel has to offer. [Music] In conclusion, it’s a great hotel chain in a more quiet area and for the right price, it’s a good choice. So, yes, there you have it. It’s three hotels close to Hakata station in three price ranges. Which one did you prefer? Traveling around Japan is really easy, especially if you’re traveling by train. But if you want to experience even more of Japan, you should rent a car. We have seen so many places, and trust us, you will not regret it. If you want to know how, stay tuned for our next video.
