Japan Vlog Kyoto by Shinkansen, Doubletree Higashiyama Kyoto Hotel and Matahari Padang Halal

🇯🇵 We’re back with Day 4 of our Japan adventure—traveling from Tokyo to our favourite city, Kyoto!

We kicked off the day at Tokyo Station, caught the Shinkansen, and arrived in Kyoto in just over 2 hours. After a refreshing walk along the Kamo River, we checked in to DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Higashiyama, explored the charming streets, and ended the day with hearty Indonesian comfort food at Matahari Padang Kyoto.

🛏️ Hotel Review:
Spacious, clean, cozy, and with a stunning view of Kyoto’s mountains. Staff were friendly and spoke great English. We rated it 4/5 stars!

🍛 Dinner:
We were craving home-style food—and found it! A full set at Matahari Padang (with drink) cost about SGD25 / IDR300K / ¥2,800. So worth it!
