【大阪万博19の改善点】4月の失敗を5月でリベンジ!19個のポイントを変えて10倍満足した方法を大公開!これを見てから行かないと損するかも!?
Hello! Marutabi Channel’s Marusu Osaka Expo 2025 Yumeshima! I went there for the second time, and to be honest, I’ve improved 19 points based on what I learned from last time.Honestly , my level of satisfaction was completely different! Let’s go! ! Here we go! This time we’ll be posting a little change from the usual Vlog format. We went to the Expo twice, in April and May! The last time we visited the Expo was on April 15th, the third day after the opening. To be honest, the first time was full of regrets… but! We prepared well in May and had a super comfortable trip. This time, we’ll show you the difference in a “before and after” format! Oh, there is something I would like to tell you in advance. First of all, the information introduced here is information from the beginning of May. The management method of the Expo is changing day by day, so the information may not be available at the time you read it, or the situation may have changed. Please make sure to check the latest information before using it.Also, this information has been confirmed as I have actually done it myself, but please use it at your own risk.Ah , at the end of the video, I am planning to tell you about the bonus points.Especially ! If you are going with children, this is a must-know point, so please read until the end.The points I will tell you are divided into 5 parts. The chapters are listed in the summary section, so please take a look at the points that interest you. Now, let’s start with Part 1. [Part 1: Preparation and Entrance] First, I’ll tell you what we did before enjoying the venue to the fullest . Doing this or not will make a huge difference in how fulfilling the day will be, so please do it ~ Improvement Point 1 ~ Reservation 3 days in advance There are some pavilions at the Expo that you can enter without a reservation, and others you can’t enter without a reservation.Reservations can be made 2 months in advance, 7 days in advance, 3 days in advance, or on the day of the event.I’ll make a separate video about the details , but last time I didn’t do it, or rather, I didn’t know about it , so this time I made a reservation 3 days in advance and got it! ! I can’t show you the footage that was screened at Mitsubishi Miraikan because filming was prohibited, but it will show you everything from the birth of life to its spread. Here are some things to keep in mind! Will reservations made 3 days in advance be made on a first-come, first-served basis ? ? ? That’s what you think, right? The point is, it’s not a lottery , and the slots will be released at midnight! ! This is quite tough! ! Also, this is a very important point, and you should expect it to take more than 30 minutes to log in.Again ? ? ? Right now, there is a rush of people who want to make reservations 3 days in advance, so you can’t get on the site right away. You’ll have to wait a while , so be sure to wait your turn to get on the site by 11:30pm.If you don’t do this, you won’t be able to participate in the competition for available spots at midnight. Also , decide which one you’re aiming for and go there as fast as you can! You’ll run out before you’re at a loss as to what to do. It’s definitely better to at least decide on your third choice of pavilions and time in advance. It would be nice if you could reserve the pavilion you’d like ~ Improvement point 2 ~ Prepare a paper map. There were many visitors on the first day of the Expo, and they couldn’t connect to the internet so they couldn’t get the QR code for their ticket or they couldn’t see the map! There was a problem , but the communication environment has improved considerably since then, and I can’t connect at all! That’s almost gone , so I didn’t bring it with me last time , but this time I brought a paper map with the necessary information written on it! But why is it better to have a paper map ? There are three reasons: 1. You can see the map with the information you need, 2. You can write in the information you need . 3. The app requires you to log in every time, which is annoying. 1. Official maps are numbered, and pavilion names are listed in separate columns. To be honest, it’s hard to look at.But actually, there are maps available on the internet that are very easy to read. Some of them contain not only pavilion names, but also information such as reservations, free admission, first-come-first-serve, etc. , so be sure to look for them! For reason 2, the biggest advantage of paper maps is that you can write on them! You won’t have any trouble if you mark the places you want to go, write down what’s being sold at the places where you want to eat , and mark the locations of restrooms.Oh yeah, it’s useful to write down the times at pavilions that have reservations. For reason 3, the app is actually The official app Personal Agent, which I recommended in another video , has a lot of advantages, but it requires you to log in every time. The official app Personal Agent, which I recommend in another video, has maps that are easy to see and use, but it requires you to log in every time , so you can’t quickly see it when you want to see it! The route search that I will introduce later is very convenient, but I would like you to use it in conjunction with a paper map and take advantage of the good points of each ~Improvement point 3~ Entrance East Gate to West Gate When I went to the Expo in April, I took the train to the Expo, so I entered from the East Gate. There were a lot of people, so I thought there were a lot of people, but the West Gate was faster.Actually , we parked our car at the Sakai parking lot and took the shuttle bus to the West Gate, but we passed by the East Gate on the way there. There were so many people at that time! ! There were also many west gates, but I still felt like there were fewer in the west.Maybe it depends on the day, but I hope this helps ~ Improvement point 4 ~ Near the entrance route fence → We used the outside route at the east gate for the first time and the west gate for the second time, but before entering the venue there was a baggage inspection area. There was a fence in front of that, and they sent people to the venue while adjusting the number of people so that they didn’t rush in at once . Basically, the one that opens is the one on the far right. On the first time, we were waiting near this fence. The purple person in the picture. By the way , even if the fence opens and you try to move forward, the movement near the fence is slow , so it’s faster to get in if you go with the flow on the outside. It’s faster to get in if you line up in the green area.Knowing this will make things go smoothly, so please refer to it.This is Part 1.Next is [Part 2: Morning and same-day reservations] ~Improvement points 5~ Where are you going as soon as you enter? Big Roof Ring → Same-day Reservation Touch Panel Last time, when I entered the venue, I went to see the Big Roof Ring.I went up to the top and walked. The view was good, so that was fine. I didn’t know that this time was actually prime time. This time, I headed to the same-day registration center to make a reservation on the day. There are 9 terminals within the venue where you can register on the day.Among them, I went to the one with the most terminals! ! My first target was Sumitomokan, but unfortunately I couldn’t get it! But I got the gas pavilion, which was my second choice! Now we have secured another pavilion that we can definitely experience. The Gas Pavilion is also a popular pavilion, so I’m glad that it was difficult to get a reservation . We wandered around the building until it was time to reserve the NTT Pavilion. It was fun, but the prime time was still on and until after 10 o’clock, you could enter the pavilion on a relatively first-come, first-served basis without having to wait long. The one we chose was the Signature Pavilion. This work was produced by “null2″ media artist Yoichi Ochiai , and the world view here is something new that I have never experienced before. It seems that the works that you can see when you come in without a reservation and the works that you can see with a reservation are slightly different, but even so, I was excited because I saw only the works that I wanted to see.I suddenly entered the pavilion that I wanted to see! ! ~Improvement point 7~ ~ Cancellation waiting list: I didn’t know → GET! What is waiting list? In fact, there are several pavilions where you can register for a waiting list on the same day. As of May 1st, there are two pavilions where waiting list tickets can be used : “Inochi no Mirai (produced by Hiroshi Ishiguro)” and “Inochi Dynamic Equilibrium (produced by Shinichi Fukuoka).” Both are popular facilities that are highly talked about and difficult to reserve in advance. So, you don’t know how to wait for cancellations … I didn’t know at all either. The first thing to do is 1. Head to the target pavilion 2. Ask the local staff to show you the QR code for cancellation 3. Read the QR code with your smartphone and enter the site 4. Register your email address and number of people 5. Wait for notification (email or push notification) 6. Enter the pavilion within the specified time. What was shown in the video was the Miraikan of Life produced by Mr. Ishiguro. Cancel here. I was able to enter with a waiting ticket. The email notification looks like this, so please be careful not to overlook it ~ Improvement Point 8 – 2nd Same-Day Reservation As I said earlier, I didn’t know about same-day reservations back in April, so I haven’t been able to use it even once , but this time it’s different! You can even get a second same-day reservation! In fact, once your first same-day reservation ends, you can try it a second time! ! So, please be aware that if your first same-day reservation is close to closing, you will not be able to try again for the second time.We were able to get same-day tickets for the Gundam Pavilion after finishing the Gas Pavilion we had taken in the morning. In fact, here is some valuable information: Gundam Pavilion opens the same-day reservation slots at 12:00, 3:00, and 5:00 for those who enter from noon ! ! Isn’t that very kind of you! ! Thanks to that, I was able to enter the Gundam Pavilion! ! This Gundam Pavilion has a story that even people who don’t know Gundam, who have been underestimating, can enjoy it to the fullest. The immersion is unbelievable! The sense of realism and power makes you feel like you’re actually in space, watching the battle. I definitely recommend this place! For more details, please take a look at the complete explanation in a separate video ~ Improvement Point 9 ~ Reservations using the host country’s own route You would normally think that the pavilion at the Osaka Expo can only be booked 2 months in advance , 7 days in advance, 3 days in advance, and on the same day , so in April I didn’t even have that in mind and just ignored it ! ! There is a way to reserve a pavilion using your own route! This is how I entered Uzbekistan this time! However, Uzbekistan, which I used this time, is no longer available, so I will explain this in terms of Italy, where you can also make reservations through your own route. In Italy, first, grab the app and make a reservation from the external link page inside.Enter the date, time, and number of people to make a reservation. You can make a reservation for up to 4 people. It seems that reservations are booked quite far in advance ~10 points for improvement~ Route Search The Expo venue is quite large , so it’s quite difficult to figure out how to get to where you want to go.Last time, I used the official app, but it was quite difficult. This time, I made full use of the official app, Personal Agent’s route search. What ‘s useful about this is that it tells you the approximate travel time , so when you make your next reservation. This was quite convenient. This time , the Gas Pavilion started at 13:10, but I had eaten lunch before that, so it was easy to know what time to start moving. The characters at the Gas Pavilion were cute, and the images I saw with the XR goggles were powerful and fun.I didn’t have the XR goggles on, so Nothing looks like it’s sticking out. This is an interesting video. That’s the end of Part 2. Goodbye, Ghost Mitchie. Time for a break! Mist at the “Park of Life” which is a hot topic at the Expo. No, it’s so funny that I can’t see anything.Next , I’ll send you Part 3, the movement inside the venue ~Improvement Points 11~ Moving around the venue When I went there in April, I found that if you really go, you can manage! So I went there without a plan, and ended up walking a lot.Based on that, I made a good plan this time.First of all, I tried to choose the next pavilion as close to the pavilion I had reserved as possible.Last time, I went back and forth between the east gate and the west gate. This time, I made a same-day reservation in the central area and saw two signature pavilions. On the way to the Mitsubishi Miraikan, I bought and ate an egg tart from the Portugal Pavilion, and on my way to the west, I entered the Inochi Dynamic Equilibrium Museum and headed west toward Uzbekistan. The Inochi Dynamic Equilibrium Museum is a very eye-catching building with a fairly simple structure inside. At first, the 320,000 LED bulbs called “Klasura” in the center show the story from the birth of life. After that, there was a pavilion where Mr. Fukuoka played a video explaining dynamic equilibrium. No, it was a pavilion that required a lot of thought . Points for improvement 12 – Breaks Last time, when I got tired, I had to find a bench and sit down , so I had brought lunch with me, but I ate it on a bench without a table. This time, I planned out where I would take a break beforehand. The place we aimed for was the group rest area next to the Italy Pavilion, which may not be open to the general public if a group had made a reservation, but we had information that it would be open after 2:00 pm, so we took a break here.Furthermore , it was next to the Italy Pavilion, so we were able to let the kids sit and wait while we lined up to buy Italian gelato. This is the place. But this time, I’m planning to enjoy the Expo until the night, so I prepared some warm clothing. In conclusion, I’m glad I brought it.It ‘s hot during the day, so it’s comfortable to wear short sleeves, but at night, it suddenly gets chilly.Especially when the Osaka Expo is being held. Since Yumeshima is an artificial island, there is nothing to block the sea breeze , so when the wind blows, you lose a lot of body heat. Last time I went home in the evening, it was windy and cold. Even in summer, be sure to bring something to wear over your head! ~Improvement point 14~ Pavilion Last time I went without thinking anything, I decided to skip the popular places that were lined up, so rather than seeing what I wanted to see, I ended up going to the empty places. This time, there is a pavilion that I was really worried about until the very end! That is Sumitomokan! The last time I went there, I passed by someone who said you can come in without a reservation and went to NTT Pavilion. However, I found out later that Sumitomokan is extremely popular and it’s hard to get a reservation! ! In fact, when I went there in May, they stopped accepting reservations early.I really want to go to Sumitomokan! ! We recommend that you enter at 9am and line up at Sumitomokan without looking away. If there is a pavilion you really want to see and you can only get in by reservation, make sure to make reservations, including same-day reservations! If there is a first-come, first-served system without reservations, we recommend that you get in line as early as possible. That ‘s the end of Part 3.Continuing with Part 4, Food & Snacks ~ 15 Improvements ~ Expo Gourmet Last time, I had no intention of eating at all because I was getting so much information that “Everything at the Expo is expensive!” But when I looked into it, I found that there were a lot of delicious gourmet foods, and if the price was about that, I would want to try it! There were so many things to try. This time, we ate egg tarts at the Portugal Pavilion and Italian gelato at the Italy Pavilion! First, let’s introduce the Portuguese Pavilion’s egg tarts! We went to the Reservation Center and Signature Pavilion on the same day . We started lining up at 10:38. There was already a decent line. We were able to buy it at 10:48, so we got it in about 10 minutes. The egg tart Pastel de Nata has been faithfully recreated in the taste of a long-established store in Lisbon, the home of it . The thick cream inside is delicious! ! The surrounding pie crust is crispy and fragrant! One piece costs 453 yen including tax. This is a sweet that I definitely want you to try.Next up is the Italian gelato at the Italian pavilion.I remember the last time I passed by here, there was a huge line. This time too, the line stretched all the way to the rest area next door. After lining up for about 30 minutes, I finally got the Gelato. ET! We ordered the Pistachio Sicilian Strawberry Amarena . Amarena is a black cherry flavored gelato with a well-balanced taste of bitterness and sweetness. The pistachio was especially rich and had a strong flavor, and it was really delicious! ! Amarena was a flavor that I wasn’t very familiar with, so I was glad that it had a foreign feel. The price was 1,100 yen for a triple. This is also a sweet that I definitely recommend ~Improvement Points 16~ Food Research Last time, I didn’t do any food research and didn’t bring a paper map, so I wasn’t satisfied with any food , but this time I researched what I wanted to eat in advance and wrote it on the map, so I was able to fully enjoy the food I had researched near the pavilion I got that day. First of all, there is a lot of information on SNS such as X, so I look for what I want to eat.Next , I check the location on the official website and write it down by hand on a paper map.If I write this down as much as possible, I can quickly find out if there is something I want to eat near the pavilion that I suddenly grabbed on the day. This is convenient! So, it’s all about beer! ~Improvement point 17~ When I go around snacks , I get hungry.Last time, I brought some snacks from home, but I don’t know what it is.I want to eat something warm, but I don’t have the money or time to buy and eat it… This time, I found it! Seven-Eleven! To be honest, I thought it was the same as a convenience store in town until I entered, but it was completely different! Did you do this? The in-house cooking menu is amazing! ! Moreover, the price is not set at the Expo! ! This is reasonable! ! If you get tired, it might be best to recover your life points here! ! The location is right in front of the west gate, and there is a grassy area in the back, so you can take some time to relax here ~ Improvement Point 18 ~ Drinks Last time I went to the venue with two plastic bottles of tea, but this time I came with a total of four bottles per person, including the children ! ! But these two things are useful when you don’t have enough time to stay at the venue for one day! ! First of all, Coke on ticket! I think anyone who has this should definitely use it! You only get one ticket at any price , which is also convenient! Water server! There seem to be 32 locations within the venue, and when I went in April, there wasn’t a line at all, but this time there was quite a line.I think the service where you can get water for free is really good. When using a clear plastic bottle, the sensor sometimes doesn’t react, so you have to make it react by hand and then put the bottle in, otherwise the water won’t come out. Also, there are quite a few lines everywhere , so this time I found one little-known spot! There is a Sustainer Dome near the west gate. There is a water server inside. There is no line at all here. The first video is under the large roof ring. It was used about 32,000 times at 11:00 in the morning, but as of 4:30 p.m. it had been used 6,600 times, so it seems like you should be fine if you come here . There was a Myrtle Myrtle in the grassy square! ! I’m out of breath from running. I’m so cute . If I can meet you, I’ll be lucky. That’s the end of Part 4. Finally, Part 5 : Expo at night. Improvement point 19: Expo at night. Last time, I couldn’t get in until late at night because my kids were coming home from school, so I got home around noon. But this time, I had my kids with me, so I enjoyed it till the end! As it gets dark, each pavilion and facility is lit up. As we entered a more and more fantastical world , the first pavilion that caught our eye was Austria! This place is lit up and looks really beautiful. Also , the jellyfish museum is also lit up in various colors, giving it a cute glow. Also , the slimy area looks even more cool! This is quite an amazing sight~ And speaking of the highlight of the night, the fountain show “Blue and Night Rainbow Parade” is set in a story style, and the image projected on the water from the water cascade in the center entertains us.If you want to see this image clearly, I think the front view is better. I’ll introduce the fountain show in another video.Next, we will head to Shine Hut.This is where the projection mapping will take place.Enjoy the power of the images being projected onto the large circular building. There ‘s more to come~ From here, we will exit through the west gate, so go up to the large roof ring and move around. At that time, there was a fountain show starting at 20:30.If you look from the back, it looks like this. You can also see it from here. The reason why I came here is that there is a drone show waiting for you at the end.You can’t miss the fantastic show created by 1000 drones floating in the southern sky ! ! I think you can see it from anywhere from the top of the large roof ring. You can enjoy the illumination of the pavilion while returning home.My favorite scene is this place where the spheres of the Netherlands Pavilion and the spheres of the Singapore Pavilion shine side by side! ! Hmm, that feels good! Well, I’m glad I stayed until the end! ! Oh, if you’re heading back from the west gate, don’t miss this one either! ! Gundam lit up! ! Hmmm, that’s cool! ! It seems that there were 102,000 visitors on this day.Incidentally , when I came in April, 64,000 people could see the pavilions and events. This time, there were 10 pavilions and 6 of them last time.Last time, half of the pavilions were from overseas, but this time there was only one from Uzbekistan.Maybe it’s because of all the improvements that have been made, but even though I stayed longer this time, I felt much less tired this time! ! Oh, of course I haven’t forgotten! Bonus information! ! This is a must-have item, especially for those traveling with children! That’s a stamp notebook! ! Each pavilion has a stamp stand where you can stamp as you like. Official stamp notebooks are also on sale, but it would be a waste to line up at the shop first thing in the morning to buy them. The kids went around stamping stamps everywhere . In a sense, this was the most fun part! Not only children but also adults should bring a notebook and try collecting stamps! The quality of the stamps is also quite amazing ! These are the 19 improvements from the first time I went there in April to the second time I went there in May.Really , I enjoyed it ten times more the second time than the first time, even if it’s not an exaggeration ! I hope this will be helpful to you and help you have an enjoyable trip to the Expo . Thank you for reading until the end. There’s still a lot of information that hasn’t been released yet, so please subscribe to the channel and check out future videos. Thank you for watching . Please subscribe to the channel.
