宮城県仙台市青葉区北山にある臨済宗妙心寺派の寺院、慈雲山 資福禅寺(資福寺)に咲く紫陽花の花が彩る風景です。別名あじさい寺とも呼ばれている資福寺には境内のいたる所に約1200株の紫陽花が咲き、仙台を代表する初夏の花の名所として知られるようになりました。
今年は天候が悪い日が続き、昨年と比較してみても、あまり咲き揃っていなかったようですが、国内外から大勢の観光客が訪れていました。
