Is poetry rap recognized in your country? I like US and UK hip hop besides JP one but I only know UK grime’s Devlin his style is the closest thing to so called poetry rap which is well listened to in my country.

Basically reading poetry on nujabes type beats while not relying with rhyming or conventional flows which are the most important parts in Hip Hop.

Or is it a Japanese thing? I’m genuinely lost.
