24 Hours in Kitakyushu, Japan πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅πŸ [1-hour away from Fukuoka] *Turn on the CC*

Hello! It’s Eric again! Welcome back to another Japan Vlog! Today, I am going to Kitakuyshu, an hour away by train from Fukuoka city. I am just having a slight morning coffee and dessert run before heading to the train station. The caramel pudding with vanilla ice cream is delicious! The cafe latte was a perfect balance for my dessert run! This is the toilet of FUK coffee. WOW, those floral designs! I am now heading to Hakata Station heading to Kokura Station! Wow! The queue line for this bakery and restaurant is insane! Refreshments Strolling around Welcia for some window shopping! I will be riding the Sonic-Limited Express Train. Travel time is 1 hour by Sonic Train and around 75-90 minutes if local train. Prices for the train ticket are 1,450 Yen for non-reserved seats and 1,910 for express and reserved seats. The train was fast and relaxing! Cute chonky train! It was so windy! Landed at Kokura Station, and I am now heading to the famous Kokura Castle! Almost 12 p.m.. The riverside is so beautiful; just look a the foliage trees. I can stay here for longer! It was so peaceful! Visited this place last Christmas, too! Look at these penthouse stalls and trees! The castle was built in 1608 and was rebuilt twice. It is one of the most famous Castles in the Kyushu Region. Strolling around the castle park areas Look at those autumn trees! I did not know there are epitaphs here from the history of this castle. [Please enlighten me by sharing this clip in the comment section.] Wow! There is a beautiful photograph shot for the castle! Look at that! So beautiful! There is a shrine inside, too! Look at these autumn leaves! Literally it was so quiet and peaceful! I am going to eat my sweet lunch snacks here! Eating my pain-au-chocolat under the autumn tree. Such a beautiful place! Look at those red autumn trees! Autumn foliage! You can also go inside the castle if you love history. price is 350 Yen for Adults and 100 to 200 Yen for Children and Toddlers, respectively. There are a lot of souvenir magnets, too! Capybara claw machine! Souvenir goodies from Kokura Castle This bag design was inspired by the Castle Baked Cheese Cake? There is a small cafe near the souvenir store area. Souvenir Stamp from Kokura Castle. It’s time for late brunch! Just strolling around this mall! I love this shop, most of the products only start at 300 Yen! I bought most of my winter accessories at this store! Aprons for 300 Yen! Wow! This store is somewhat similar to 3-coins! Scarves for 300 Yen! There is a gashapon near this mall! Some unique gashapon collections from Kumamoto and Kyushu Region! There are literally no queues at this popular ramen shop in Fukuoka. Itadakimasu! Adding White Peppers! Gyoza 8/10: The charred gyoza did not have too strong of a smoky flavor, but it was delicious and addicting! Shin-Shin Ramen, 7.5/10: It was a worthy bowl of Tonkotsu Ramen, personally, I just find better Tonkotsu Ramen in Fukuoka. I still had a great time in this ramen that answered my curiosity! Yum! There are alot of food stalls and izakayas here! Heading to the next stop! I am riding a local train going to this beautiful port area spot. The Sonic 883 train was spotted! This is such a beautiful station; it reminded me of Chiang Mai SRT Station but with city buildings. Beautiful architectures. This exterior architecture look of Starbucks! Very beautiful and chilly! Mojiko Retro is the northernmost port town in Kyushu that is famous for its beautiful architecture and rich history This is a beautiful port! This red brick building is also so classic! This is giving San Francisco Bridge in white! This is a pedestrian drawbridge overlooking the Kannon Strait It is said to bring happiness to lovers who ever cross this bridge. Sorry for the Typo! That is “Friendship” from the text above! Look at this beautiful castle-like architecture! View from the outside! A Souvenir Stamp was spotted! Dired fruits on sale! Another stamp was spotted! So peaceful! There are a lot of shops here! The sunset view is so beautiful! Look at that view! [I kept on repeating it over and over again!] I love MOJIKO! There is also a walking map guide for you to explore Mojiko Retro! Passing by the Bloe Koji Lane to manifest my soon-to-found lover! Sunset from the Kanmon Bridge site You can buy boat tickets too at this station going to the Honshu Island! Beautiful one-and-only autumn tree near the museum. Sadly, the museum is about to close at 5 p.m., so I just passed by the lobby and gashapon area. Lobby area! I need to go back at this place the next time I visit Mojiko! I stayed for 30 minutes just for this tree! The port view is so therapeutic and refreshing! There are alot of popular restaurants here in Mojiko! Fountain near the station The night view of the station is so beautiful and vibrant! This was said to be a waiting room for passengers in the train station. Specifically the 3rd class passengers. You can basically wait at this cafe without ordering a coffee since it is a waiting room. There is a small museum on the 2nd floor. Wow! This feels like a big hall for special occasions. More posters and information about the place. Heading back to Fukuoka City. Rode the local Kagoshima Line for 1,080 Yen. Time for some laundry! I need to wash my clothes! This is an unmanned coin laundry shop. There is a coffee vending machine, too!
