What to Do Before a Night Flight from Japan | A Perfect Last Day Itinerary!

Welcome back to our Japan series. We actually had an extra day in Japan because our flight wasn’t until the evening. So, of course, we decided to make the most out of it. We got up early and packed up our things since hotel checkout was at 11:00 a.m. But before officially saying goodbye, we plan to grab brunch across the street at a spot called Jonathan’s Coffee and Restaurant. It’s a casual place very popular for affordable Japanese and Western style meals. We checked out around 10:30 a.m. and made our way there to fuel up for the day. After brunch, we had everything timed perfectly. We had already pre-ooked our airport limousine bus online scheduled at 1:35 p.m. My son used the Go Taxi app to book us a quick ride to the bus stop, which was located at another hotel. We arrived at Narita Airport at around 2:30 p.m. Since we still have several hours before our flight, we decided to leave our luggage in the airport lockers so we could explore a bit more. From there, we hopped on the Kay line for a super quick ride, less than 10 minutes, and headed to Narita Sananto. Now, a lot of travelers think Narita is just about the airport, but it’s actually hiding a charming little town that’s full of history and [Music] culture. Narita Omoteando is this beautiful traditional street lined with oldstyle shops, local restaurants, souvenir stores, and little snack stalls. The walk from the station to the main area takes about 15 to 20 minutes, but it’s really pleasant, especially with all the quaint buildings. It’s like stepping back in time. You’ll see beautiful wooden storefronts, traditional crafts, and you might even catch glimpses of locals in Yucatas. [Music] Subscribe. We spent our afternoon wandering around, trying different snacks, shopping for souvenirs, or just soaking in the charming atmosphere before heading back to the airport for our flight. [Music]
