8K-Kawazu Sakura-Cherry Blossoms Festival in Izu Japan. 静岡県賀茂郡河津町内で開催する春の観光イベント「伊豆の河津桜まつり」です。河津川沿い約4kmの区間には、川を取り囲むように約800本もの河津桜の桜並木が河口付近まで続き、一帯は美しい紅色の風景が広がります。
河津桜(カワヅサクラ)は、毎年2月上旬から3月上旬までの1か月間に渡りピンク色の花をつける早咲きの桜で、カンヒザクラとオオシマザクラの自然交配種と考えられています。
また河津桜の由来には、静岡県賀茂郡河津町の飯田勝美氏が1955年頃に偶然発見した苗を飯田氏邸に植えた所、1966年から桜の開花が見られたため、早咲きでピンク色の花をつける桜の原木が河津町にある事から、1974年に河津桜(カワヅサクラ)と命名されました。
今回は、過去にアップした河津桜まつりの動画をリメイクして画素補完処理を行い4Kから8Kスーパーハイビジョン映像にアップコンバートしました。ピュア8Kには遠く及びませんが、過去に公開した映像よりも繊細な動画に仕上げましたので、是非ご視聴いただければ幸いです。
