what can you do in exactly 3 hours in oaka that’s what we’re going to find out today hey guys welcome back and greetings from olaka so ready to spend a few hours here yep in Doon body area yes so we’re just going to be here in the Doon body and number area since uh we only have a few hours to spare and first thing we’re going to do is we’re going to get something to eat most like the takoyaki since we are here in Osaka after all it’s a must food definitely definitely a must this area is insanely crowded as always uh this is do uh River and that is the famous donkey hot Ferris wheel over there we have the GCO sign here yay hey you ready to go eat some takayaki let’s go let’s go M do you have any recommendation for Tak y um yeah there’s one place that I like to go we we kind of always go there CUO okay let’s go to CUO okay to area is super popular for worldwide people look so many people walking here and enjoying street food and that’s where we’re going to go our Takaki places right on this side no no no right on this side Osaka is famous for these huge signs that’s for GS gshi the this is the iconic statue which is actually under repair right now did you know that they’re fixing it right now fixing really it will recover it will I hope so I hope so it’s iconic this is super iconic I see both of us are quite shocked at how crowded do is because it’s kind of like off season right now there’s another gigantic sign uh that place is famous for kushu which is like de fry things on skewers and that is a takoyaki museum right next door okay and then this is where we’re going to have takoyaki this is actually one of my favorite spots in this area to get Takaki this is Takaki right here there’s a line but it should go fairly quickly I hope I hope I hope I hope how long do you think is a wait just 10 minutes I think just a few minutes 10 minutes I think okay half and half half and half so this is the half and half 820 Yen so basically it is salt FL it is salt flavor and this is the sauce and mayo on top you have Bonito Flakes and on this this side you have strips of NY be careful it’s like super hot is not hot no it’s hot but I’m okay okay that’s good this this shop is very interesting they use lots of lots of Tas temp butter deep fried temp butter it has a crunchiness Sak and sauce is sweet I love this sweetness and mayonnaise makes makes this makes more flavorful salt salt taste I [Music] do see careful I can’t believe you just popped it in your mouth in one bite this one you can enjoy the Vish the Red Ginger taste really nicely and the Sal salt and this butter the Takaki butter matches nicely how’s the octopus though you didn’t talk about the taco Che now I’m enjoying the chewi of octopus is it chewy yes but it’s not tough chewiness I love enjoying this texture look at that you see the crispy surface right here and and you do see um the the salt I don’t know if you can see it but there’s salt on top M the octopus M there’s always like one nice size piece of octopus and like Sosi said there’s a nice chewi but not tough and what makes this Takaki special is just crispy outside because like sat said they use a lot of a temper batter M it’s so good okay I’m going to try the sauce one oops this is the one with the sauce the red you see is the Ben shoga or the pickled red ginger it’s really hard for me to say which one I love more actually no no I do like the salt one more I think it’s because um it lets me enjoy the flavors of the ingredients but sat I know you like the sauce one more which one which one do you guys like which one do you guys prefer the sauce one or the salt one no need to answer it’s sauce so if you’re wondering what these people are waiting for they’re waiting for ramen the famous K Ramen very popular now I know do is super touristy but it is some place that we like to visit pretty much almost every time we come to Osaka which is why we’re here again today okay we’re going to do uh one more time from a place called uh they used to be on the Michelin guide 2016 2017 and 2018 hi this is a variety P inside of this pack there are four types of Takaki one is Nei green onion meno mayonnaise Bonito Frakes and sace and mayonnaise I really love green onion so I eat this taste is good outside Sak they don’t use so much temp but nice flavor and nice has the and same time it’s a the G flavor it’s also really good and this meno sauuce has a um nice stiness and spiciness okay so this is the takayaki with the Bon to flakes oh oh my god really good flavor but it’s kind of too hot for me you know I really like the flavor of this one it’s basically just um salted because I like you know salt flavor and the octopus is actually tender you so it’s like it’s it’s not chewy at all it’s it’s almost like um kind of melts in your mouth almost delicious then here we go this one is a soft sa with the May let’s try this one this is also going to be super hot oh oh actually actually the sauce on this one is a lot more Savory than the one from the other place that we had I like the sauce on this one oo and what’s great about this is that you can get four different types of tayak on one plate this is the one that I definitely recommend you guys try how was it it was really good I I liked it uh one thing I noticed about uh this Wanaka is that the Dashi they use the the the stock that they use for the butter is really really flavorful so I don’t know like like I like the crispiness of the other place but I like the flavor of this one I don’t know I like both I think every time I come back I got it I got to I got to visit both places across the street of wak here is a famous udon shop named IM we sometimes eat in my the building is little bit old atmosphere but building is new new building this is our favorite K you can see deep fried tou poui on top actually this is my favorite one CH yeah because um I I like the different ingredients on the top so this is my favorite and this place imay I it’s nostalgic for me because when I used to live in Osaka like super long time ago when I was young uh we used to to come here sometime really yeah yeah s i remember I I love this place wow I didn’t have to know that I’m pretty sure many of you guys already know about this little alley here but let’s walk through here it’s kind of hi yes right here this little alley here oh you see oh right it’s it’s like if you don’t keep your eyes open like you’ll miss this like in both sides like there’s like like illustrations like drawings of um what allaka used to look like in the past oh I see so it’s so cool like you have this like little Shrine here right kind of looks like a um like a shop but it’s fake it’s just a facade is this yeah it’s just a facade just a facade yeah oh is you see oh wow so this is a Cara display yes and then right when you get out out of this alley it’s another atmospheric road so from here you can see small path it’s heni yes heni we featured this on a video before and it’s really atmosph yeah cobblestone streets all the restaurants exactly old restaurants don’t ask me why but I love this sign up here don’t ask me why I don’t know why the other thing about Osaka is that it is full of these uh shopping arcades called shorten guy like there’s tons of them I’m going to go to a place called The Kitchen Street I forgot the name of it you remember the name you already know what’s the special of Osaka is endless restaurants food food yes I we are standing the very small side street but this street is filled with restaurants or Food Shops it’s not just this treat it’s like everywhere Osaka has so much good food but you guys already know that all right guys so this is and this is the street full of kitchen stuff I really like coming here I really really do last time I took my friend Lawrence here and he bought some Chopsticks I love kitchen kitchen things me too I love kitchen stuff too oh wow what is this yeah magnet yeah no these are like keychains and magnets these are like uh fake food to Chopstick shop see there’s like Chopsticks there’s like uh teacups and they’re all really good prices like these chops are only 130 Yen it’s for like lamen shop yeah so a whole bunch of things here like plates and cups and look look at this everything in here is only 100 yen and if you get hungry this being all Saka you have food places like yeah this is a stationary shop on this side you have like a what do you call this like a knickknack shop this is like a Hing you can even buy that a neon Sushi sign neon Sushi sign right there this shop these are very good for some kind of restaurants yeah restaurants or even like you know interior interior why not why not look at this there’s like a sushi place you can eat right out here oh you can sit out here and eat sushi here there’s a new Ramen Shop here wow lot of new shops since the last time we came there’s a supermarket here as well they always have a supermarket this is a shop where you can buy n so this particular street is great for those of you who like to buy things like this and this being oaka there are even um takoyaki makers all of these are Takaki makers it’s good to have one at home this is an especially gigantic store two floors of plates and cops and Chopsticks Chopsticks anyone Chopsticks this street is a lot of fun for me and Satoshi definitely oh so many things to see so many things to see so it is dessert time guys we are here at Numba parks located in Numba convenient it’s it’s right next to the station and the reason why I like this place is because there’s a really nice place to chill numble Parks is basically a mall it’s super windy right now so sorry about that but there is an area called the uh Parks garden and it’s it’s open between 10 and 12:00 p.m. so let’s go up let’s explore number of parks and then I’ll show you where you can get something really delicious come to Osaka by myself I always make some time to come here there’s lots of seating area it’s beautifully landscaped I do have to say it’s kind of windy and cold today though and if you go in here you’ll enter the mall itself but I suggest you keep going up wow it’s a mountain gramy yeah like it’s like climbing a mountain yeah I always look at this like a City hike it’s like a City hike for me I love it and uh right now you know cuz it’s winter time so there are no flowers but usually during spring there are beautiful flowers everywhere if you come here at night it’s a beautifully illuminated one more floor wow yeah I know it just keeps so high it’s like hiking right yeah it’s nice I love this okay I’m doing exercise at home exactly exactly okay is this at top oh not yet no no it just keeps going up and up and up see like that’s a nice place to sit over there we’re way up here right now but let’s go up a little bit more okay this is great exercise yeah I think it’s like seven seven floors up I think seven floor oh this is a sixth floor yes so there more floorers seven floors yeah what floor are we on now wow six seven floor highest floor but the highest FL is more wow yeah every floor has a theme seventh floor is the Red Canyon we’re out of breath I believe this is the top floor you believe so mhm I hope so o cozy cozy now you have a this a spacious lawn known not yet yeah another FL yeah you can go all the way up there my here is your sort of a nice view we’ve come to the ninth floor and I’m sorry I thought there was a c shop here like a pastry shop but I don’t see any I’m sorry this video is a mountain climbing video yes I I guess it is I got exercise you got exercise isn’t it great it’s great I love this and here’s a view like I said it’s like a it’s not like a spectacular View anything but it’s kind of nice you know and I like this because you can get away from all the noise and the crowds of Osaka okay so we finally found some dessert we decided to sit on the second floor instead because it’s it was too windy it was too windy and cold so anyway we went to a place called PG donut and the donuts look really good and Satoshi loves Donuts yes I love donuts so I got the apple cinnamon donut and um sorry satosi has cinnamon in it but I needed something with cinnamon this isard Donuts this is uh the recommendation yes oh L of custard inside wow is that card bread really wow is it good it looks really fluffy very fluffy outside little bit Sak do okay H nice but did I make a mistake this tastes like Fresh Cream maybe so this is called the Nam where C I believe I don’t understand very fluffy smooth texture sweetness just right and I can enjoy the vanilla e taste kind of vanilla e taste so that is a piece of visco for sure bof cookies which I love look at all that cinnamon up there you want to bite no you sure no M the donut is like super super fluffy and I don’t know I think I was expecting something sweeter but it’s not very sweet M there we go that’s all the sweetness is the apple filling that is delicious look at all the chunks of Apple they’re kind of still crispy oh and it’s um combined with that cream and of course lots of cinnamon and [Music] sugar okay that’s pretty good stuff that’s a good donut it is night time now guys and we are here at nakima this is the river and it’s one of my favorite places to come in Osaka look at this it’s blue right right now but it Chang changes color periodically it turns red green orange yellow this area is uh basically a business area but the buildings are nice beautiful I think I like it because number one it’s very quiet as you can see you know it’s it’s really quiet and uh there’s lots of water there’s lots of places to stro you can stroll along the banks of the river and there’s a beautiful Park here and so I really love it around this area there are all the buildings historical buildings true that’s another reason why I love this area yes I do so we were talking about the historical buildings in this area and unfortunately we can’t go there today because it’s like way way down there look how beautiful the river looks but that’s for another video I think I can find one building to show you one interesting building it’s here I believe this one has some history to it and this bridge right here is actually very beautiful one of my favorite bridges in Osaka so let me show you guys one historical building in this area this is the Bank of Japan building this building was built in 1903 so yeah it definitely has a little bit of History so the river is on the right side over there toaa River and this is um on the way to nanosim but I absolutely love walking along the street I love the street lamps here I find this whole street very romantic it’s really nice I’m going to end tonight with a walk along this River it’s so peaceful can you believe this is Osaka guys many of you guys know Osaka has been really really busy but yeah this is one of our favorite places to take a walk at night so this is the end of this
