Man Stabs Two in Rush Hour Attack on Tokyo Train
there was a knife attack on a Tokyo Metro train on May 7, 2025. A 43-year-old man attacked two passengers at Todaimae Station on the Namboku Line during the evening rush hour. One victim, a man in his 20s, sustained multiple head injuries, while another man in his 30s injured his hand while helping to subdue the attacker. Both victims are expected to recover. The suspect was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, and his motive remains unclear
