IS THIS JAPANS BEST CITY? YOU HAVE TO COME TO FUKUOKA! The Ultimate Travel Guide
guys I have a secret I’ve lived in Japan
for 9 years and I have never been to Fukuoka embarrassing isn’t it you should be ashamed to
yourself I should be ashamed of myself ashamed no excuse there’s no excuse I am so excited
guys I am finally in fukoka this has been on my bucket list for so freaking long because if
you didn’t know Fukuoka is the land of the ramen so like how has the ramen Queen not visited her
her nation is this a nation what is this a city [Applause] [Music] if you guys did not know Fukuoka is like
Gourmet City this is like the land of the everything but especially they’re
famous for men Tao mun yakit Tori rmen stop it get some help so in this video
I’m going to be taking you guys around with me we’re going to be going to all
kind of really cool places we’re going to have some delicious food especially Robin of
course I’m here at my trusty sidekick Ash let’s go it’s breakfast time and you know what
that means coffee just kidding Ramen I did all the research for you this was the
most important part of the whole entire trip um there’s actually so many different
famous ramen shops around here but I think I narrowed it down pretty well and this
was the one that I just had to try [Music] I’m finally trying hakaka style Ramen in fuka
like how I don’t know why this took me so day long I’m so excited Hakata style Ramen is
like a pork bone based Ramen the noodles are very thin so we got two different
kinds I got like the normal tonu base and then like a a slightly spicy one it
smells so good honestly you already know the ramen’s good just from the smell like inside
and around the area this place specifically is famous for like the broth like really white
creamy milky and bubbly like it has these little bubbles on the top because like the broth
has been cooking for so long I don’t really know how it works I’m like watching him making this and
looks like the most delicious science project ever [Music] all right first bite wow oh my God hold that’s so good spicy one oh so good right I’m not even
trying to guess but I picked this place so I knew it was going to be good good I’m not
even going to gas that’s probably the best haata style Ramen I’ve ever tried ever
I don’t know if you can tell but that’s what I was talking about like the bubbles
okay this is one bowl of ramen you have just got to try it’s no wonder they’ve won
so many awards and this shop in particular is the only shop where you can see their
famous multi-pot technique for cooking the broth he explained how they use this
complex simmering method where aged broth and fresh broth are moved around different pots and added at various stages to
create their original fro style broth [Music] I have never tried this type
of strawberry before do you see the [Music] difference oh why is it cream so good
it’s like fresh made or something o you know how you want to like explain the flavor I don’t
know how to explain it it tastes like the most strawberry is strawberry useless it’s like extra
strawberry and a strawberry tropical sweetness like a mango sweetness but strawberry taste the
most strawberry strawberry very strawberry this is literally perfect right after Ramen I’m not
even going to lie I was not expecting that and it wasn’t on camera this is most fire pistachio
ice cream ever tried there chunks it’s so freaking good I don’t even know there’s pistachio ice
cream in this I’ll be finding the spots y’all know i’ be finding the spots it is freezing yeah
I don’t know if I did the order wrong it should be coffee Ramen dessert Ramen dessert I think
we did it right anyways I don’t know if you can see this gigantic line behind me but this is the
coffee for today again just equally as important as Ramen for me at least is coffee especially
when you’re traveling you know you walking around you’re getting tired anyways I did a butt ton of
research and so many different people recommended this coffee shop that’s behind me with this
gigantic line that I usually walk away from but I’m in the mood for really good coffee so we
have to do it so funny I could not figure out how to pronounce this this whole time I thought it was
how would you pronounce this it’s I thought it was something that was something else y know cut so
it’s called fuku coffee also I’m getting sleepy all that Ramen and then we had dessert so it’s
like literally the perfect time for coffee right now so far we’re doing pretty good we’re seeing
a lot it’s kind of freezing so yeah this place was uh recommended to me by another YouTuber
shout out to Christian thanks for the [Music] recommendation so we’re finally inside I would
say come early because they already sold out out of the pudding I did want to try the pudding
and it looks so freaking good I’m like literally looking at dude’s plate over there and I really
want to walk up and just be like can I have a bite I just want to try it yeah anyways got
my latte they had a double latte too so I’m excited Ash is already impressed I haven’t
tried it yet but look how cute it [Music] is yeah that’s real coffee you want to wake up here
you go this is real coffee o very good coffee it’s got like a boarding pass oh that is a
boarding pass like sticker that is so cute everything’s like airplane them I didn’t even
noticed that also ifuk is the uh airport code airp code makes a lot of sense I can feel
it’s waking me up this is what I needed yeah I already feel more awake okay not
only did the sun just randomly come out but as we’re sitting here drinking coffee
the pudding’s back in stock yo look at God [Music] I just feel like good coffee is arguably
like the most important part of an entire trip cuz like having good coffee is the
difference between me going to the next sightseeing destination or not y I don’t
know what it is about traveling that makes you sleepy but yeah coffee is a must
on vacation especially in this cold you guys have no idea how excited I am to visit
this spot I think this is one of like the top things on my list usually when I travel I’m not
like excited to go to a shopping mall it’s like whatever you know but this one it’s called Canal
City look at this I don’t know if you can tell it’s legit a whole city and it sound like a
party I’m across the street and I can hear like music and lights and all kind of stuff they
have a lot of stuff going on there’s a fountain show I think at 5: and they have illuminations
just from across the street it looks so dang impressive how many stories can you count from
here 1 2 3 4 5 6 8 9 10 11 I don’t know what we’re getting into I’m scared to go in there are
we going to make it out just so you know we went inside in daytime let’s see when we make it out
but yeah all my shopping Fanatics here you go [Music] could you imagine anime playing on all these TVs I
can watch all of my shows at the same time [Music] all right we made it to the top floor of
this mall and apparently Heaven’s up here which makes sense you know the higher you go
Heaven it’s an entire gigantic floor of ramen this the most impressive room I’ve ever seen look
at this every shop is ramen like how do you even choose you know what this reminds me a lot of
the one that’s in kilo station but actually a lot better and of course we’re in fukoka the L
of the ramen so you just know they’re probably all doing it right oh my God only I would be
excited for a Ramen Bowl display I actually really really want this one so they have this
really cool display it’s literally one of the like Ramen trolley and you can put your face in
there is this not the cutest thing ever [Music] okay we all say Japan’s clean we all have that but
I swear it is cleaner here yeah for sure somehow everything’s more modern and like organized
I thought it was going to be like Rowdy like Nagoya kind of you know what I’m talking about
no without a doubt I don’t care what none of y’all say Fuko dress the best they got y’all beat
Tokyo I don’t know who told Tokyo that they was the stylish one but it’s over here I did not know
like even the kids dress nice over here from age three up everyone is stylish and it’s winter
y know how hard it is look hot in a coat for girls they got their hair done anyways one of
like the most exciting things here in Fukuoka is like this street with just a bunch of food
stalls it’s called yatai it’s basically just a food stall and they serve all kind of stuff
and it just so happens that f is literally famous for everything like y Ramen there’s
so many different items so I don’t even know we’re going to eat but we just going to stop and
dig in I’m excited first one for tonight um yes [Music] please welcome to the club what do I feel
like I’m in a secret Club sick it’s cold as flip but they have this like barrier up so
it’s actually really nice and warm and toasty here okay wait what is the menu what
is it like specialty I’m so [Music] excited it’s juice it’s apple juice this
apple juice is fizzy boy I asked them what like they recommend they Saida mik which is
boiled intestines which is literally one of my favorites it’s basically like the closest
thing to chitlins so I’m obsessed with it but I can see why a lot of people might not like
it also I’m kind of excited one of the other things that he said was Yaki Ramen I don’t
even know what the f but Yaki Ramen is is it going to be like Yaki SAA I don’t know
I don’t know but I’m excited cuz I had the word Ramen in it he’s like what do you like I’m
like Rob he’s like you’re going to like [Music] this I’m trying not to get everybody in
here cuz this place is packed literally every seat is full so it must
be good apparently this is the stall to be at though that’s all I know
this looks way more like like chilling [Music] I found the name it’s called Naka Naka Naka I
thought it was gilza but it looks a lot more like CH like dumplings I’m sure the soup inside I
don’t think there is no oh it is oh look like sh there’s actually like soup inside of it it’s hot
it’s really hot very dangerous this is probably the most dangerous food they say Mochi is the
most dangerous n bro these soup dumplings are the most [Music] dangerous it’s
already on my pants that was really fast one bite and I’m already
down man down but it’s fire is worth it all right here is the yucky Ramen
I have never seen anything like this [Music] okay honestly you could explore these little
food stalls till your heart’s content there were actually so many we just tried one and sadly
I’m already full I think it was the noodles it was yummy though and the name is really easy naaaa
now I think we’re just going to walk around for a little while and then tomorrow morning we’re doing
so much fun fun stuff I feel like I jam-packed like the cool stuff tomorrow and all the food
stuff was kind of today so yeah we got our early morning so today we’re meeting up at Hakata
station because I found one of the most convenient coolest ways to travel Fukuoka good
morning I don’t know if you can see behind me but today we’re going to be doing this yoka
bus tour you can just hop on it’ll take you to various areas around Fukuoka you don’t have
to worry about navigating transferring and all that stuff it’s going to be awesome going to
be stopping at a bunch of cool places I picked all the spots definitely my type of spots you
guys will see in a second I’m actually really excited so not only does it eliminate all of the
hassle associated with planning and booking and navigating while traveling but also this bus tour
makes it possible to see places and experience things in Japan that you might not have gotten
a chance to otherwise also I’m going to add all of the information Down Below in the description
box if you guys want to check them out I didn’t know what to expect but this turned out to
be no average bus ride y’all this bus was lit [Music] [Applause] thank you can’t speak Japanese no worries when
we got on the bus they had to scan this QR code basically it translated everything she was
saying in real time straight to your [Music] device they gave us lots of useful information say
less it was spacious the seats were comfortable and the staff was so friendly I was not expecting
this to turn into a party bus it was so much fun like everyone was talking with each other we
were discussing things especially like topics related to Japan quite the engaging bus ride
it was such an enjoyable experience I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling
around Fukuoka and before we knew it we were already at our first destination thanks to this
bus tour I was able to check out some really cool local hard-to-reach places that I don’t think I
would have known about on my [Music] own first stop it’s not Ramen so if it’s not Ramen what
else could it possibly be kot Coto train so the first stop that the bus take us to is this
train is so funny I’m taking transportation to Transportation hear me out it’s going to be dope
scenic train ride and we even get I think it’s a French course if I’m not mistaken so we get to eat
and chill and just honestly this sounds amazing and the weather is like not great today so it’s
a perfect time to do something like inside but still get to be outside that makes sense isn’t
that cute it’s so cool TR time can I get a choo choo choo choo I can’t believe you did that
[Music] ah I’m trying my best not to [Music] scream love these details so much
exciting I feel like you’re more excited than I am he’s trying to act
cool this dude’s all giddy [Music] [Music] hands down the dopest train I have been on
it is amazing yo we coming back to fukoka just to get on this train so basically it’s
a train ride you get food they have drink I just ordered hot sakeet and then they’re going
to stop at various destinations it’s so sick What’s this called you should know this table
placement place mats table table papers look at this you supposed to be middle class [Music] what could possibly be better than suing on
a train I’ve lived in Japan for 9 years and I can honestly say this is one of my favorite
experiences thus far it was so much more than just a luxury scenic train ride I mean
the train itself was so impressive it reminded me of the Titanic they had an amazing
selection of drinks like local craft beer and sake [Music] oh he’s like upside down the views
were just beautiful but they also explained the different sites that we were passing by wow we
even rode by the local Brewery that produced one of the sake selections that was on the
menu and they came out to greet us as we went by probably one of my favorite things about
Japan is just how welcoming their Community is they’re always so eager and willing to share their
traditions and encourage visitors to experience their culture alongside them and I just think that
is such a beautiful [Music] thing it was a lot of fun we got to socialize with other passengers the
name of your Channel I want to subscribe it’s just my name Sunday love oh God stop legal is that a
real NE are you serious I know my mom is strange the proper subject matter oh yeah roben just the
important stuff trains and the train staff was so attentive Japan is fa famous for its Hospitality
but the staff took it even a step further not only did they let me check out the conductor’s cart but
they also let me try on a real [Music] uniform he let me put on his jacket I literally cannot and
the hat along the way we made various stops at places where we can see things and Shop it was a
really cool way to explore the local areas [Music] okay first thing we have is the kot Coto box oh my God so cute on the other side too
at all the stops they’re like waving flags saying goodbye so she said there’s like
nine different items in here representing different cities and we get to keep the
cloth oh my [Music] gosh oh it’s so cute it’s got to be fun what do we have in addition to the French course we also got
a special made lunch box so in Japan it is common to eat a lunchbox or a Bento when you’re on the
train known as the eky Ben I just heard the guy over there he’s like this definitely beats eky Ben
definitely does nine different cities each city is like famous for specific things Whoever has the
ingredient of just broccoli I feel bad y’all it must be boring over there I’m not coming taste
the broccoli I love broccoli but I’m not coming is great is that the best broccoli you’ve had it
is [Music] great it’s giving train banded this has been the greatest train ride ever and I really
don’t want it to stop [Music] [Applause] [Music] my God they have flags and everything [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] happy birthday to you happy birthday to you oh
my god this is my favorite stop so far it’s an old train station and they let you punch the
ticket I got the i m and they let you take photos in front of the train this is literally
the staff out here taking photos like full-time job photographer I love this this is the
most beautiful building ever it’s an old train station but it is [Music] sick they
let you go into an office wow for like the date like you came you didn’t come [Music] I would like one ticket to gedo’s Bath House was that my drink did I miss my [Laughter] drink next [Music] [Music] okay so we just like stopped
from the Train and now the guide is going to take us to some spots she
recommends we’re stop for like 20 minutes and then we get back on the train
oh S I love s souvenirs for the Neighbors they’re like sick of me getting them
stuff like why are you somewhere every week you can smell it from literally down
the street big Commander it’s soig [Music] that’s so cute actually [Music] [Music] okay last stop of the day kind of sad this has
been so much fun all right so we’ve just stopped at a former residence this is so Sunday Ramen
train old Japanese houses so this is a former kurauchi resident I guess he like had a fortune
from a coal mining management company but yeah the house is super duper old I don’t even remember
the year I think it said 1906 or something like that where was my family when they was out never
mind you are not allowed to laugh this is amazing [Music] other than train in ramen I’m also obsessed
with traditional Japanese architect and this former residence did not disappoint
it’s amazing how well they were able to preserve all the details and it was so fun
to learn how people used to live back in the day I knew it I was like it’s like a hole in the
thing W it’s the most luxurious hole in the thing don’t the sleepers look like seramic [Music]
oh my gosh it’s even more beautiful from the outside I don’t even know if you can tell
that is three layers of just this gigantic house to keep it up that is insane this thing is old yeah it’s like a 400y
old tray probably [Music] we are back at the station I think this bus store
is a really great way to see like so much more for Goa like I would not have been able to go
that far without the bus store this absolutely recommend all right that’s it for this video
guys if you want any information I’m have links and everything down below in the description box
I hope you like my picks see you guys next time [Music]

This vlog was SO CUTE, immediately one of my favorites. All the friendly people and beautiful scenery got me all emotional. I'm adding all of this amazingness to my Japan itinerary 🤗💖
Welcom to Fukuoka! bless you.
Welcome to Fukuoka!
駿台予備校が好きな学生のチャンネルかと思ったら違った😂
La chica es muy linda pero puedo dejar de mirarle la frente 😅
I understand many tourists would focus on attraction places, like"Japenese Japanese" things. But there's more fun things to do that is not designed for specifically foreign tourists. I think many Youtuber missed opportunities to dig in Akasaka/Kego area. It's not typical tourism areas but you can feel Fukuoka's nostalgia and cuisene that combines various cultures.

You should go to beppu and do the hot spring tour ( some demon one I can’t remember the name). Such an amazing experience, the location and tour guides were also amazing!
