So, we’re at the clock tower now and we’ve taken a few pictures and we’re just stopping for a little snack and a drink because it’s actually quite hot. Um, it’s so pretty. Kind of looks like some Jubilee style building. And yeah, Kevin is now munching. We sat across the Sapuro clock tower. Got a little snack on the combini. Jamie got some tea. Got some yuzu tea, I think. Not entirely sure what it is. Well, I already snacked one, but I have another one. A uh seek help onigiri. And uh my absolute flavor vitamin jelly jelly. Some corn ice cream and some Hokkaido mints chocolate chalk. Wa. It actually looks like corn. It’s a wafer on it. Will there be corn inside? Yeah, it tastes like corn. It tastes like corn. You had corn soup as well this morning. Corn. We’re in the Sapuro Botanical [Music] Gardens. We’re now in the botanical gardens and it was free. We just wandered straight in. Beautiful flowers everywhere and it’s really really big. So, we have a lot to explore still. Yeah. Planning on spending a little bit of time here and then we’ll head back to our hotel for afternoon tea which we will show you. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] What the dog doing? Did you get miso ramen of the miso ramen? So much selection. Greedy to get I think it’s greedy. Is it greedy to get dumplings? I don’t know. Girl. It’s Saturday evening. Get what you want. I spent a busy day in Sapporo, enjoying the spring weather in Hokkaido’s capital city. First I checked out one of the top tourist attractions in Sapporo, the Clock Tower. Then I headed to the Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens, a huge free park full of flower and trees in the middle of the city. For lunch I tried out Japanese afternoon tea at the hotel I was staying at, it was definitely not what I expected! Believe it or not, one of the most peaceful and places in Sapporo is surrounded by skyscrapers and busy roads! Tongu Shrine is known for its numerous cherry blossom trees which were in full bloom when we visited. For dinner we found the best ramen restaurant in Sapporo, where we warmed up with a special Sapporo miso ramen.
