ASAHIKAWA Winter Vlog – Discovering ASAHIYAMA ZOO on My Own

Hi everyone 👋🏻

In this video I will take you to the second largest city in Hokkaido, Asahikawa. It’s located about 138 km from Sapporo. We will take a limited express train for 1 hour and 25 minutes.

There is a must see zoo in Hokkaido in Asahikawa named Asahiyama Zoo. The zoo is quite unique because we can see the wild animals at the level of our eye. We can see seals swim along giant glass pipe, Marine Ways.

For lunch we, will have soba at the zoo. I always love the soba texture and taste.

The main attraction for winter in Asahiyama zoo in penguin walk🐧. There are about 15 king penguin walk along 500m snow. It’s a very good and must see attraction.

Then I will take you to see a bit a winter illumination in front of Sapporo Station, Satsueki Illumination. It’s a very amazing a flower shape light installation with light and sound program.

Before having dinner, we will stop by Susukino Ice World ❄️to see the beautiful ice sculptures there.

For dinner we will have bbq at Yakiniku Like, a famous and affordable bbq restaurant originated from Tokyo. The beef has a good quality. They have many sauce we can choose, all tastes good. It’s totally worth it.
