How to Spend 16 Days in Japan – Complete Japan Travel Itinerary from India || Part – 2

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Welcome back to the second part that is the continuation from part one of Japan’s complete itinary which explains where I went, what was the cost etc. So before I begin the video, if you have not seen part one, you will not understand anything in part two. So please go back to part one, watch the complete part one video and you can watch this part two video. Now for the people who have watched part one video you know I posted a short saying that the video uh the part one video I almost spent three to four hours for it and I don’t I don’t even want to talk about the revenue of how much I got in that video. It is in two digit Indian rupees. I don’t want even want to talk about it guys because it is very embarrassing and I am purely doing this video second part for my subscribers and for those 20 to 30 people who responded to my re saying that you guys are waiting for the second part this video is for only you guys. I’m not looking at any revenue or money for this video because I’m not going to get anything out of it. So this video which I’ve spent again 2 to three hours in preparing this video including editing etc. I am doing only for the love for my subscribers nothing else. So this video is for you guys. So in the previous video I stopped at day number six. So now let’s continue from day number seven and also I have made some very key notes and what was the overall cost of the trip? What was the complete breakdown per person and I contacted with the same itinary to a tour company and how much did how much did they tell? So everything I’m going to explain in this video, my only humble request to you guys is if you have not subscribed, subscribe to my channel and watch this video completely because I know I’m making this people for a very small audience who are interested and who pinged me on Instagram asking for part two. This video is for you guys for a very few subscribers. So let’s go for it. Day number seven, I went to Kyoto Panoramic Dour which includes Nijou Kasle, Fishimi Inari Shrine, Kinakuji Temple, Arashiamyama bridge and Kimono forest. Now when you think about Japan, when you think about how Japan is being advertised to Indian tourists, you look at this orange gates, wherever you go, when someone is posting a photo about Japan or when when some Indian celebrity is going to Japan and when he or she’s posting a video or posting a photo, you see that kind of the the orange color orange color bars um every side like a bamboo forest and bamboo backdrop behind it. So this is the day tour you want to take. You want to take guys and this again um just to remind you if you have not properly seen my last video whatever tours I’m going to talk about is linked in the description below. You can check them out. And this this entire day tour again starts at around 7:30 and ends at 7:30 p.m. You literally will have hardly few or few bits of energy to explore after this day tour. So I highly recommend to not to plan anything too aggressive when planning for these day trips. This is a very very worthy day trip to to make it very precise. I completely love this day trip and you cannot go to these kind of day trips on your own because the cost will be too much. I’ve compared the cost across multiple websites and linked it in the description below so you can check them out guys. So this Kyoto panoramic tour should not be missed and I’ve made complete notes on wherever I went from my bookings and I’m giving presenting you those information. Day number eight after day number seven is completely occupied with Kyoto panoramic day tour. Day number eight N day trip. Now N day trip you would have seen deers interacting with humans. This probably happens only place in the entire world and this is a very very religious place in the Shinto culture when it comes to Japanese people. So when you are in this park, you have to behave with utmost respect with the locals or with the deers. So this is a disclaimer. Wherever you go in Japan, please please behave with utmost respect to jo local Japanese people or local Japanese authorities. Now this Nara park was inaugurated in 1980 and deers here are considered natural treasure and to interact with humans. So one advisory I want to give here is if you’re traveling with kids please be very careful. See deers are very friendly there and most of the deer’s horns have been cut not to harm humans. That was the only intention because you have to understand that N is a touristy place and tourists bring out a lot of revenue from this place to Japanese government and this place has to be protected. So what they’ve done is they’ve cut the horns of all the deer so that it should not harm humans and there may be other reasons which I don’t I or you might not know. So basically when you’re traveling with kids see look deers are not domestic animals. Deers are wild animals. So if you’re traveling with kids or elderly people deers might sometime get aggressive and eat your daughter or son or your infant. Please be very careful with when I was interacting with deers I didn’t have any such problems. But if you’re especially traveling with kids, please mind that these are wild animals at the end of the day. You can see several boards indicating that. And this entire day trip I did it on my own because the day trip which is available from the link in the description below was too expensive guys. So I went on a train did this myself and before I went to this day trip I also covered the famous Osaka Castle. Now remember we are still in Osaka and this is day number eight and Osaka Castle is a must and should visit it. I won’t say like it is like number one spot you must visit. The architecture from outside is very good and you can take photos for Instagram or uh you can make you can for for your memory purpose. You can take a lot of photos inside Osaka Casle. I would not prefer for you guys to go at all. So just see outside and you can you can just take photos and you can proceed with going to Nar Park. So the first few hours from 9 to 11:00 we spent in Osaka um Osaka casle from 11:00 we went to Manjima and sorry uh we went to Nar day trip and nar day trip again to reach nar to take about an hour hour and a half your normal welcome suka would work if you don’t know what is welcome suka you can check this video out so you can go through metro you can spend the entire day and come back by maybe uh 6 7 or 8:00 and again after that I did go to Duttonbury again because of its amazing foot complete. So day number eight complete and Osaka and Kyoto complete. So day number nine is taking a Shinkansen from Osaka to Hiroshima. Now Hiroshima as you know is one of the most historical places in the entire world. You would have seen the movie Oppenheimer. So I cannot use a few words in this video because my video will be taken down. So you know what happened in Hiroshima and what United States did to Japan. And it is the most historic place I would say uh because they’ve preserved the crater and they’ve preserved the entire atomic bomb structure in Hiroshima. And it is well preserved. It is not like other countries. It is well preserved. A lot of people go there to witness what happened in Hiroshima. And when you go to Hiroshima like I took a Shinkansen and went to Hiroshima on that day. I went to atomic bomb dome. Again you should not miss this. This is the main attraction. And you have to go to peace memorial park for all the people who have who who lost their lives that day. They have created a peace memorial park and it is must and should visit place. And you also have a lot of cherry blossom trees in and around this park. And the next thing is peace memorial museum. Now this museum will take minimum 3 to 4 hours. If you’re a history historic buff like me, it will take minimum 3 to four hours to read exactly how and when, why, what motivated for us to drop on Japan. So you’ll understand everything in this peace memorial museum. And the next thing is Shukiken Garden. Now Shukian Garden or I may pronounce it wrongly is well known for its cherry blossoms. And this park the entire park forefront is covered by cherry blossoms. So if you’re a big cherry blossom buff like me like how we were you have to visit the shukan garden. So day number nine complete and along with along with this guys by default you have to try local ramens. Now ramen is different in Tokyo. Ramen is different in Kyoto. Ramen is different in all the different cities in Japan. They have a different style of ramen basically. So when you’re going to Japan, you when you go to any city, do not forget to try their ramens because it is extremely good and you get a different taste of ramens when you go to different parts of uh Japan. Like how we have different cuisines in different parts of India, they have one ramen, different types of ramens in different parts of Japan. And day number 10, we did a day trip to Miaima. Now Miaima when you talk about Hiroshima Miaima is a must and should place. So there is no question that you have to visit Miaima because Miaima needs to be visited whenever you’re going to Hiroshima and we went by train like we went by metro to Miaima. You can also visit that through ferry. Now ferry was becoming a little bit expensive around 3,000 to 4,000 rupees up and down whereas you go in metro it’ll be around 1,000 rupees per person. So I prefer to take metro and then go to Miaima rather than ferry which has been marketed a lot. And once you go to Miaima again here also you can interact with a lot of deers. This basically dear but not as much as N. But if you skipped N you can still interact with deers in Miaima. And in Miaima you also have itsukushima ginga Kushima shrine and also the famous thing in Miaima is trying out oysters. Now if you’re a non-vegetarian you might have heard of something there’s something called as oysters which is seafood and it is really really fantastic. If you have not tried that please go try that. Oysters is famous in Miaima. They call it miaima oysters and you will see grilled oysters not deep fried it’s grilled oysters. Basically when you walk in that food street in Miaima you can find this everywhere. And also do not miss the lavender ice cream. Lavender ice cream probably you won’t get it in India. I don’t know. I’ve just uh I’ve just been to quite a very few places across India and I’ve asked people who have been to India and you don’t get lavender ice creams anywhere not the packaged one palm oil one that we get it’s the naturally freshly prepared lavender ice cream is must whenever you’re in Japan in whatever place and you get that lavender ice cream in Miaima so day number 10 complete now day number 11 again take a shinkansen and go to Fukuyoka so I went from Hiroshima take a shinkansen and go to Fukuyoka. Fukuyoka is Kyushu area guys. Now this area can be skipped because it is not so much touristy. It is very beautiful but it is not well marketed. So when you talk about Japan they only talk about Tokyo, Kyoto other things but Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagasaki but Kyushu area that is Fukuyoka is very very less touched and is must and should visited in my opinion. So I didn’t want to miss out because it’s a twoe trip. I don’t want to miss out anything in Japan. So I went to this Kyushu area. So first thing once you take a shinkansen from Hiroshima to Fukuyoka once you land in Fukuyoka you have to visit three three of these places must shoot guys. So one of them is Fukuyoka Tower. Now Fukuyoka Tower was the most beautiful thing when it comes to cherry blossoms. This place was so highly decorated with lights on the cherry blossom trees and make this place look so beautiful was highly insane guys and I did not spend even one rupee for this because when you book in the link in the description below you get some reward points and through that reward points I booked the atomic museum and also Fukuyoka Tower free of cost. So once you go to Fukuyoka Tower do not miss out ohori park and Fukuyoka kasle. Now, Fukuyoko Castle again is a it’s a it’s for photobuffs and Ohi Park is again very beautiful lighted with cherry blossom season. So, if you are going in cherry blossom season right now, these things should not be missed and it should definitely be in your bucket list. Day number 12, this was the was the most unexpected tour. The next tour that is day number 12 and day number 13 because day number 12 was Kumamoto Castle, ASO volcano, Aso shrine and onsent day tour. Now, Kumamoto Kasle is um is a very beautiful place. It’s a very beautiful kasle. We also went inside the castle because this was part of the day trip. And also uh ASO volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in entire Japan. And uh depending upon what signal is currently issued there, they will let you in because if the smoke or if the smoke from the crater is very high, it may be poisonous. They won’t let you in. And if you’re an amma patient or if you’re allergic to any smoke also, they will not let you in. So please be sure to tell your guide that you have so and so condition. This tour also gives you one of the most famous onsense in Kyushu area. Now when you talk about onsense, it’s like a geothermal path and I’ll try to make a video on this next guys. So please stay tuned. I’ve recorded the complete uh onsen how we enjoyed our time in onen and how the onsen looks like. It was very beautiful. It is better that it is better onen than one we had experience in Taiwan. So onen is when whenever Japanese local people want to enjoy onen they go to Kyushu area and the area which we had been to was known for onens. So onen is also part of the day tour but you have to pay separately around 800 to,000 rupees to experience this onen for 1 hour. My recommendation is take it definitely worth it. You should not miss an onen experience when you’re in Japan because this is next level experience. So after finishing onen that completes your day number 12. Fukuyoka also has some fantastic food streets guys. Please do explore. I’ll check I’ll link it in the description below because I don’t want to make this video too too lengthy when it comes to food etc. Day number 13 again this was the most unexpected tour because I didn’t expect much of these tours in Kyushu area because it’s not it’s not advertised and marketed a lot. So day number 13 was Kyushu Beepu Dator Neoring Temple Attack on Titan Museum Euin and Uni Day. This will again eat up. If you leave at 7:30, you’ll only be back by 7:30 p.m. It’s like a 12-hour tour. So do not plan anything aggressive after this. And this is again very nice. Beep is a part of Kyushu area a bit far from Fukuyoka. And basically in these two day tours whatever I spoke about this will be covered. the entire Fukuyoka belt will be covered. Most of the Fukuyoka famous tourist spot built will be covered in this 2-day trips. So definitely if I would my recommendation is go for go for Fukuyoka because Japan is a one-time trip guys because the budget is too much. It’s a twoe trip. When you’re going to Japan, cover all these things and come back because flights from India to Japan as you know is always expensive. So day number 14, we took a flight back from Fukuyota to Tokyo. Why we didn’t take a shinkansen from Fukuyoka to Tokyo? Because it is expensive and it consumes 5 hours. Even though the bullet train is going between 310 to 350 km/h, still it will take around 4 to 5 hours. That’s why we took a flight from Fukuya back to Tokyo which was costing 1/4 of the price. again because of my regalia points for two people it was coming somewhere around uh 156,000 but I got it for 8,000 two people because of regalia gold points which I redeemed while booking the flights and again I’ve made a dedicated video if you have a regalia gold credit card if you want to know how to redeem your points I have already made a dedicated video guys like mentioned in my previous video please do check it out and once you go back to once you go back to Tokyo that is on day number 14 and day number 15 it is completely shopping Guys, if you are a shopping buff, now Japan is known for shopping. If you want to buy iPhone, if you want to buy any electronics, companies like Casio have very very lesser rate. For example, I bought a watch which is 1,500 rupees in Japan. The same watch in India is 2,500 rupees. Everywhere you can find enormous discount when it comes to electronics and there is a area called Akihabara. I also mentioned this in my previous video, part one video. Akiabara is a must visit place when it when you’re an electronic buff and you are a big fan of electronics. If you want to buy this old brick games which we used to play in the ’90s those games are still available in Akiabara. What I’m going to do is I’m going to make a separate video on shopping and taxi refund because I don’t want to make this video too lengthy guys. So now without wasting any time day like I said day number 14 15 16 was my departure. Day number 16, departure at around 1:00 p.m. local Japanese time. Flight from Tokyo to Tokyo to Bangalore, direct flight, no interruptions. Day number 14:15 was purely shopping which you can skip if you’re not interested to shop. And day number 16 was my flight back. If you want to skip these two days, day number 14 itself, you can take a flight from Tokyo to Bangalore or Tokyo to anywhere in India. Now let’s talk about the most important thing that is the budget of this trip which I know you guys will be most interested in all of this video. Now as you know visa costed me 1,800 rupees flights 47,000 rupees because I had regalia gold points otherwise it would cost you somewhere around 60 61,000 but I’m going to keep 41,000 and whatever I’m saying take telling in this video sorry will be per person. Visa 1,800 rupees flights 47,000 rupees hotels 56,000 food 24,000 rupees trains that is bullet train shinkans 55,000 rupees for four cities tours the day tours which which I spoke about entire day tours of part one and part two is 28,000 rupees now including all of this it will come up to 2 lak 11,800 rupees I have rounded off to 2 lak 12,000 Indian rupees 2 lakh 12,000 rupees 16 days inclusive of everything including flight, visa, hotels, everything. If you’re staying in a host, if you’re a solo traveler, your budget might come down by 20,000. And if you are staying, if you’re like for example going from Bangalore to Bangkok, staying there for 2 days, going from Bangkok to Tokyo, your flight cost would again come down by 5 to 6,000 rupees. And if you are a vegetarian, if you don’t want to try local Japanese food, if you want to carry ready to eat food from India like adukali or mtr, it would again you can save about let’s say 5 to 10,000 rupees which no one does and no one should. I’m just giving you the budget options. So it costed me 2 lakh 12,000 with all inclusive experiences. Now what I did before this trip was with the same itinary I went to a famous tour company. I just asked them okay this is my requirement. This is my itinary. How much will you charge for it? He sent me a quote which was 5 lak 56,000 rupees to 6 lakh rupees. 5 lakh 56,000 per person. It is not per couple per person 5 lakh 6 56,000. That was the exact quote. Now my my budget whatever I have given is 2 lakh 12,000. Almost three people if you add another 50,000 three people can travel in this in the budget which I have given. Now go to any company guys I’m not against anyone go to any package tour package company you give them the same itinary in this video and you show them this if they’re giving for the same price please go for it I am only telling go for it and tell me the tour company also I will also go go to the same thing but you will not get it but if you get for 15 nights 16 days with so many cities in the golden tour and the things that I have experienced I have covered local food team labs everything bullet train etc if they’re giving for such incredible price. Please do let me know as well. I am ready to make a video about the tour company without charging even one rupee extra. I don’t want anything guys. The main interation is to help you guys. Now, if you’re getting same thing 2A 12,000 rupees from a tour company, you might as well go for it. I’m I’m I’m very honest and I’m very serious. My moto is to save your own money. Wherever you find cheaper, go for it. I am not promoting any brand or promoting any company. Just go for it. This was my budget. Any doubts as usual guys follow and then ping me on Instagram because I’m not getting notified and drop a comment in the comment section so that I can clarify your queries. The next video I’ll try to make about this Japanese shopping and tax refund system on how you can save your money. Remember I bought a shoe, I bought iPhone, I bought I bought a lot of clothes and famous KitKat. I’ll be showing try to show you everything on this um on the video in in in the next video I make. I’ll try to show everything on on the video guys. the shoes or uh KitKat because I’ve not yet used them. So, it’ll be quite informative for you including the iPhone. I’ve made a dedicated video so it’ll help you guys a lot. So, I hope this information is very very helpful. Again, I love my subscribers. So, I’ve made this video for the 15 to 20 people even though I spent around 2 to three hours with no return. So, I hope you really support my channel and share it with your friends. I’ll catch you guys in my next video.
