hey friends welcome to Universal Studios Japan and the partf front Hotel here at Universal Studios Japan showing you this because we are staying here for three nights at this amazing looking Hotel here at Universal Studios Japan City Walk you go inside show you what it’s all about give you a tour take you up to our Theme Park View room and let you know our thoughts after the fact as I said we are here for three nights thankfully we’ve been traveling all over Japan at this point and I’m kind of sick of staying in hotels for one night at a time but um I’m really looking forward to getting in here seeing what it looks like and just experiencing what a universal Hotel is like in Asia again we did the Grand Hotel the Universal Studios Grand Hotel at Universal Studios Beijing and that was over the te Park entrance so that was a lot of fun um if you do want to check that out I’ll put a link down in the description and you can see how that compares to this Universal Studio space j is a lot newer than Universal Studios Japan uh and it’s a much larger part by footprint I believe this will be interesting to see what this is like and then we got two days at Universal Studios Japan as icon to be notified when we post all new videos let’s take a tour so the park front hotel at Universal Studios Japan here in Osaka is located very close to the subway and when I say very close I mean I’m going to going to walk you here quickly that’s the subway entrance just there now we booked this cuz we wanted to be like right next to the hotel uh right next to the park sorry but as it turns out you’ve got the Oriental Hotel Universal City you’ve got the Hotel cayen Universal Tower um the Advan Leen Osaka is there uh you’ve got the kesu Universal City down there Universal Port is just over the road as well so they’re all so close everything is within like walking distance of the park it really isn’t too bad and then you’ve got the Universal Studio store right there Universal City walk here has tons of restaurants as well so lots to be seen and done here at Universal Studios Japan now as we head in we’ve got the uh entrance here which kind of looks it’s kind of a mix of Ghostbusters building from the original Ghostbusters and and um tooms now the cogs don’t move unfortunately but it is a very very pretty entrance going head inside I think Becky’s in there waiting for me but is very Grand comeo happy Halloween we are here for Halloween so we’ve got some photo opportunities Universal Globe here the park front hotel at Universal City and then you got trick or treat there as well as we look around it’s a really like art deco art Novo style building uh we’ve got a model of the uh Hotel just there as [Music] well not much here in the lobby really okay um you’ve got a little seat in area here playing clips from Universal Studios Japan you got a little seating area here with Becky waiting for me to complete my tour wave Becky hey guys um and then of course you’ve got the check-in desk just there and then to the side of the checking desk you I think this is concierge you can buy Park tickets here from 7:00 a.m. till 9:00 p.m. it does say it’s closed but it’s before 9:00 p.m. [Music] you’ve got the luxury floor check-in desk so if you are on the top penthouse suite you can uh come and check in here you get special dedicated entrance right we got guest rooms on Floors 4 to 28 you got the hotel entrance Park entrance main lobby front desk restaurant aahoo room shops on this floor and then uh you’ve got parking career service coin operated lockers Fitness room and then more parking downstairs as well so it’s designed to look a little bit like something out of New York let’s take you through here this is the uh guest lift and of course we will take you up there oh wow it’s it’s quite a bit bigger than I thought oh you got a mosaic down [Music] here New York [Music] skyline Buffet dying in aala uh so you’ve got Halloween dinner buffet you got I don’t know if it’s just a Halloween dinner buffet or you can do a normal one but some really fancy looking Halloween items there it’s all decked out you can see right over into the park there as well oh you got a better view of it for here actually so this is the breakfast offerings here at the park front it’s got Japanese food here pickle dishes we got some cold selections we’ve got some hot selections with [Music] fish eggs and omelets they are cooking them fresh Sunny Side Up and sunny side down they’re making the omelets for you kind of get back on the line here hot selections chips sweet potatoes Sesame dumplings steamed buns mahina sandwich pineapple sandwich banana sandwich got Nuggets hamburger steak gravy thick scramble rice with ketchup baked beef noodles soy beans saut a spinach and bacon two different types of sausages and then some bacon slices and then you come down here you’ve got selection of cods down there which match what’s up there so I’ll show you up there this is the aahu room didn’t know what that was before um and I might say at some point in the video that I don’t know what it is but that’s like extended sea in basically come back the seating goes all the way along you’ve got fair amount of seating in here but when we came in it was queuing up to get in quite a bit um teas coffees juices ice and all the stuff you need for that French toast pancakes and rad selection cants uh ice cream puff vanilla chocolate and strawberry and then in the center here you’ve got your fresh [Music] fruit you got some dessert selections there juices milk again teas coffees and juices and then the cold selections so salmon sausage patata thingy cheeses and salads Curry okay Bowl rice and then you can do some more Japanese pickled stuff Chinese porridge rice ball uh soup stock misto soup corn soup and then more salad items as well so that is pretty much the selection of food and then you’ve got quite a large seating area like I [Music] mentioned down here you’ve got restrooms as well I don’t know what this is it’s not in English don’t know if it’s going to change [Music] no Universal Globe Wolf Gang Puck Pizza Bar you can get take out but I think you got to go into City walk to get [Music] that you got access to Lawson which is a convenient store and then you’ve got access here to Shake Shack as well obviously we all know what Shake Shack is and then the main prize here that you have is [Music] this because that is Universal Studios Japan there and I’ve just walked for 30 seconds through the lobby to get here so you’re right at the end entrance you couldn’t be any closer apart from that one at Universal Studios [Music] Beijing let head back [Music] in make sure we’re not missing anything here hotel entrance Park entrance main lobby front desk restaurant aahu room and you’ve got the shops as well I got to find the oahi room cuz I think I have missed that so the convenience store you can get a whole bunch of takeway food and drink anything you might want to take up to the room once all of the shops and restaurants are closed loads of snacks both Savory and sweet options chocolate of course alcohol crisps [Music] pot noodles and uh cup noodles which are huge here in Japan and then you’ve also got any of the Sundries that you may have forgotten uh in here you’ve also got a couple of ATMs but I’m sure um I’m sure there’s an ATM somewhere in the hotel as well Chargers pens tights [Music] [Music] socks and then also a bunch of hot food as well this is a staple of these uh convenience stores you can get hot food just I’ll just bag it up for you there and then [Music] [Music] spe [Music] so just go down here slightly downstairs once now that we’re in Vegas apparently at this point this is a very strange Hotel so you got a locker room down here and you should have Fitness room as well that’s the coin operated lock is in there so we haven’t checked in yet so I can’t go in there but we’ll put a clip in of that now so you got coin operated Lockers in here and you’ve got these lockers where you put the wire through I’m not sure what the point of this is I’m wondering if you can leave your luggage with the front desk or whether you need to put it down here and then there’s also a vending machine in here as well and then this is the fitness room just do this from the outside couple of treadmills couple of bikes fixed weights and you’ve got a drinks vending machine and yeah also you’ve got the parking down here as well so head back up check in and take you up to the room just before we head upstairs you also do have an entrance here to T’s coffee as well which I didn’t see before but that comes in through City walk as well so you got access to a lot just here so we just checked in we’re up on the 27th floor there’s 28 floors um we got this really cute boarding pass so it says for SpaceTime traveler the park front Hotel have a good trip and then we’ve got a little layout so we are in room 2705 with what sounds like very loud neighbors yes American future floor right so here we go 2705 let’s go in we literally have not been in so this is complete first impression for Becky and I normally we’ve dropped our bags in first but Universal did that for us because we shipped our bags to the hotel okay so let’s see what we got going on here um all right take let’s take one step back we’ve got um full length mirror toilet with a little sink a lot of Japanese toilets don’t have sinks it’s really annoying um and it is one of those uh nice Japanese toilets washlet too yes this was an expensive hotel it was very very expensive but I’ll show you why it was very expensive in a minute um oh this is the bathroom here I thought that was going to be the bathroom door you would think right um I really like this car it’s nice isn’t it actually the air con goes down to 18 brush your teeth will you so you got his and her sinks here um hair dryer really fancy looking hair dryer actually oh it looks very futuristic it does look very futuristic really nice um nice length mirror all your amenities here we’ll go through those in just a second towels more towels um little step stol for children and the bin there as well yeah so two sinks couple of glasses the amities just take these out you get two toothbrushes liquid cleansing face wash moisture lotion and overnight milk cotton set two body towels I don’t know what this is we saw this downstairs a second ago body towel green coin I think this is probably like a save water if you don’t want your towels washed you participate grow Forest we ask valed members by not using all amenities okay so if you don’t open them they’ll reuse them basically yeah um chamomile Burger mot oh that’s one it’s a boys one oh okay razor uh the pads that separate your toes re foot oh are those those things that are really they actually are they’re the foot masks ah they’ll be they’ll be amazing oh nice we’ve got uh we’ve been talking about we’ve literally been talking about them s feet up after this trip and you got two hair brushes um right so Becky is it this no there we go small one right so this is the shower and bathroom uh it’s a nice marble effect but it’s pretty much what we’ve been having in all the others isn’t yeah it’s it’s fairly wet room fairly basic they are all wet rooms here yeah that’s the I actually quite like it I like it too because there’s no spillage it doesn’t matter if you like water or Splash or whatever um you’ve got a uh swimming costume or whatever dry in thing there as well not that they have a pool in this hotel um shampoo conditioner and shower gel and yeah it’s a bath shower combo uncomfortable yes very firm okay um I don’t know if it’s a sa bed but it’s extremely these slippers have been provided for use in guest rooms don’t take them out um and they’re like squishy one they look much poser than the other they do but then you’ve also got the like cheapy ones next door as well yeah um okay so you’ve got like the unit here let’s call it that um you’ve got some stuff about the hotel talking about the uh WiFi talking about laundry what was that pay uh no they’ve got laundry machines but I don’t remember seeing a laundry room so I’m going to we’ll have to confirm where that is it’s probably on the third floor yeah it’s normally on like third or fourth floor or something although we came in on the third floor so maybe not um some stuff about the hotel that’s only in Japanese which is very useful uh massage in your room 50 minute body care massage these guys know that the days break you 7,560 which is I only about 40 quid for 50-minute massage um coffee machine Nespresso coffee machine and let’s see if they provide an espresso pods yes they’ve got two Nespresso pods there you’ve got green tea and then I think that’s black tea as well glasses cups and a kettle the ice bucket is in there too um here what if we got fridge with the little freezer compartment and then you’ve got a safe down the bottom let’s close that up did I show you guys this little wardrobe area here I’m not sure um you’ve got a foot scrub thing uh as shoe brush shoe horn two dressing gowns a little area to put your bags this is quite good actually an area to pick your bags is is good um TV built in and then you got the two beds there we’ve got they’re very well they’re not very they’re not doubles no they look quite small don’t they large singles large singles I think that is a double though here yeah maybe that is probably a double here that’s like a very small double yeah back home it’s like a 3/4 double or something like that um dressing gowns provided really cute not dressing gowns pajamas sorry yeah there are dressing gowns there are dressing gos up there yeah um we I don’t know this hotel is weird you saw guys on the tour we had New York we had Las Vegas in one part as well back in time or for I guess it’s back in time I guess the story is back in time um so we’re we’re back in like the 60s New York now or something um here you’ve got bedroom and entrance lights and a night panel as well what’s a night panel one little one tiny that clock’s really old SCH my D and Grandad used to have a clock like that yeah it’s cute um pad and paper Park front hotel that’s coming with me um tissues torch where are the plug sockets guys where are the plug sockets in the top maybe there is nothing there is nothing down the side here this was one there a phone but phones don’t need PL plug sockets there is literally no plug sockets down there what about where the clock is on the right hand side oh yeah maybe on the right oh there he is yeah okay pH PL P that’s only two plug sockets though good thing got extension leaves it’s very good thing you got extension leaves I don’t know if my plug socket will fit in there the way it is um anyway yeah our bags were delivered to the room which really good uh there is I don’t know if you’ve seen that but there’s like a quite a oh there is patch on the floor there ooh o frayed very very Fray that’s not me afraid that’s not very good is it not really considering how much we paid for this hotel H it down in the bottom corner how much we paid for three nights here um additional plug sockets there Becky’s on the Shay she says it’s not very comfortable why don’t you take a seat and tell me what you think I will actually please do it doesn’t look that clean though it doesn’t feel that comfortable no you literally yeah bounce off it yeah yeah it’s a big room though load of space um yeah that does not look the cleanest here no not too impressed with this hotel if I’m honest in certain things um plug sockets down here you got USB you got HDMI you got PC port and the old red white and yellow ports as well just in case you want to plug in your Nintendo 64 from 30 years ago we are in a time travel hotel after all it is 30 years old this hotel isn’t it it is 30 years old this hotel yeah I think this did open when Universal Studios Japan opened which would make sense but want see why we paid money let’s see why we paid money what would it be really good turn the light off turn the light off is if you had yeah I’m going to turn the light off so you guys can see this it’d be really good if you had um well I can’t turn the bathroom on off clearly let’s go fine just going to UND do that manually uh it would be really good if you had a button what for the curtain for the curtains you know what else would be good and all of these Park View hotels that we have is’ never want to have a seat that faes the what is that about why would you pay the not able to see it holy cow that is a part of you Becky’s gesturing to the curtain more cuz she can’t see that is a Park View room this is kind of a seat it’s also really like vertical inducing um yeah wow wow that is that is really nice so just here you got the entrance well you got the archway there down the bottom um you got the entrance and the ticket Gates you’ve got their sort of their Hollywood is covered my god look how busy it is down there yeah Hollywood is absolutely Heaven half a and it closes at 10 yeah and just down there as well in uh oh I don’t know where that is production Central maybe it’s that’s near M’s Diner isn’t it you know what guys it’s actually Halloween Horror Nights so that might be why certain areas are like extra busy maybe but we’ll take you through that in all the park days and stuff so watch out for those videos what’s that like temp that not Temple that like pyramid thing is that Jurassic Park where are we looking yes the pyramid thing is Jurassic Park that is yeah Jurassic Park you got the flying dinosaur behind it you’ve got Jurassic World um sorry Jurassic Park River Adventure which is currently closed it’s been closed for about 18 months it doesn’t look that big but that doesn’t have a word for it’s not that big but then it goes backwards at the back here so there is the wizard in World you’ve also got um Super Nintendo World next to it which is all lit up Donkey Kong Country which spoiler alert for those videos guys we came here and it said Donkey Kong Country was opening in spring so we were like we’re going to book it then got delayed to 2024 and it’s still not open is that that brown bit on the right there yeah behind the castle yeah oh they’re doing um night time illumination night time illuminations at Hogwarts yeah oh that means we might have fireworks soon who knows anyway um super silly fun land here which I don’t think is called super silly Funland Sesame Street super silly fun land’s at the back isn’t it no that’s um minion land at the back yeah super silly fun Landers minions oh okay that’s Sesame Street yeah that’s Sesame Street it’s called something different though it’s not called Sesame Street but it’s really weird looking at a park from above yeah because you go especially when you haven’t been in yeah because you go in and you’re like right we got to walk all the way through Hollywood backr and then we come into the children’s area that is like right in central pain at the moment guys but if you look at it from above where we are now it is literally behind the entrance I’ve also just seen Donkey Kong uh mine cart Madness testing I can see it testing oh yeah that’s cool that is cool but really freaking annoying cool um and then you’ve got like the rest of oaka like just there this is such a weird park cuz it’s ryin is she it’s uh apparently 8:30 right now because it just lit up on that uh on that wheel I wonder if that’s that big wheel that I saw earlier or if it’s a different wheel this is cool this is really cool I like this yeah I’m sad about Donkey Kong but yeah that’s the um that’s the room tour guys that’s the first look at the park as well um going to breakfast in the morning we’ve got breakfast in the morning so then we’ll go into the park be sure to stick around for those videos we’ll also give you a wrap up of what we think of the hotel we’re not going to do a full review um mainly because we just don’t have time um the cycle in Hollywood dream here with new people on are you sure yes so yeah that’s probably one of the reasons why it’s 10 whatever minute wait 120 minute wait yeah crazy okay guys right we’ll let you know what we think of of the uh the room in the hotel all right so that is the end of our stay at the parkfront hotel at Universal Studios JPL I thought it would be good to sit on the window cealing have this view that’s what we paid for right um not going to give a full review um just give you some feedback on the hotel itself uh it is an expensive hotel with no benefits at all there are no benefits to stay in here that you get early entry you don’t get a dedicated Park entrance you don’t get Express or anything like that the only thing you get is being close to the park however um all of the hotels on site are very close to the par cuz they’re all in City walk the only one that’s not is the universal Port which I can see just here anyway um so I don’t think there’s much benefit staying here it’s very expensive for that view um other than that I can’t really say that you should stay here um the room is a little bit tired it’s a little bit old and a little bit dated has some nice amenities we had um you know some cool stuff like the the face wash and things like that and um but there were no bottles of water provided the room itself looks a little bit tired the couch looks a little bit tired um the hotel itself is a bit of a funky theme if we hadn’t sat down and read a story about what it is we wouldn’t have been able to tell much of a difference um so I don’t think it’s really worth staying here again the service has been good though the team members here have been great we had um issue finding how to send our bags cuz you can ship bags between hotels here we couldn’t find the location of the hotel that we’re shipping it to I spoke to the uh conci desk or the Bell desk and she sort it out for us she Googled using the phone number to find the uh Japanese address and then put it in the app and it all worked so you know credit where credits chew for them doing that um but yeah I don’t think you know other than that I don’t think it’s worth really staying in this hotel you know because you get no benefits it’s not worth paying the price that this hotel commands I would much rather if we were to come back if you’ve seen our other Vlogs we’re probably not coming back anytime soon um spoiler if you haven’t um I’d rather stay at like Universal port or one of the cheaper hotels a little bit further away even with universal Port Hotel you probably get a Theme Park View room if you’re up high enough it’ probably be about1 cheaper per night um I don’t know how much this this was entirely but I put down in the bottom corner how much it was um but yeah for no benefits just this view I I wouldn’t bother again it was fairly clean Hotel it’s just really tired good stuff again still it’s tired and there’s nothing else to do in the hotel at all there’s no games room there’s no swimming pool you’ve got the fitness center but you’re going to get your steps in going around the park anyway so hey it’s not worth it I can’t recommend it but hopefully that has given you a good idea as to whether you would want to stay here or not this view is stunning regardless whatever way you shake it this view is stunning I wake up and I see Super Nintendo w i see the entrance to a universal Park I’m in love with that but uh is it worth the money not for us if In today’s video we’re taking you along to The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan.

Located a 30 second walk from the main entrance of Universal Studios Japan, this is about as close as you can get without being in the park! Set over 28 floors you have stunning views of Universal Studios Japan as well as much of Osaka.

The hotel has a theme of time travel where we take a step backwards in time when we walk in, you’ll see clock motifs located throughout.

Our room was located on the 27th floor where we had a an incredible theme park view room.

The hotel has a restaurant, a grab and go convenience store, Lawson as well as direct access to a number of eateries in CityWalk though you are right there so can go and get anything! It’s also just a short walk away from the subway station too.
