Where to stay in Kawaguchiko?
We stay at the super chill resort near Mount Muji and it felt like a winter wonderland. Wow. Let me show you around. Looking for a peaceful getaway near Mount Muji? Let me show you where I stayed. Fuji Premium Resort just 15 minutes from Kamaguchi Court Station. Surrounded by forest, super quiet and relaxing. Spacious rooms perfect for families or groups. On-site tennis court, kids play area and a seasonal pool. And guess what? There’s a free shuttle from the station. Just make sure to book it at least 30 minutes in advance. Okay. Dinner is buffet style at 2,200 yen per person. Really cheap with plenty of variety. You can add on upon check-in. Breakfast is also buffet style. And there’s even a small souvenir shop for your omeiyagi hall. Yay. The hotel isn’t just one big building. It’s actually a bunch of villas and buildings spread out in the forest. Super chill and quiet. My room came with a private on Zambar and if you’re driving, free parking is available, too. We came with a rental car, but it didn’t have snow tires. Too risky to drive in the snow. So, we took the hotel’s free shuttle to Kawakuchi Kau instead. It was snowing heavily that day, so no Mount Fuji view. But honestly, the snowy landscape was absolutely beautiful. If you are visiting in winter, make sure to grab those plastic shoes covers. There are a lifesaver in the snow. Your shoes will thank you.
