TOKYO — Airline group ANA Holdings plans to launch Japan’s first commercial flying taxi service in fiscal 2027, traveling between Narita International Airport and central Tokyo in 10 to 20 minutes for around the cost of a regular taxi ride, Nikkei has learned.

The Japanese airline operator also envisions a route connecting Narita with Haneda Airport — Tokyo’s other main airport — as well as routes linking central Tokyo with Yokohama and the tourist destination of Kamakura.
