NEWBIE GOES TO A HARRY POTTER EXHIBIT! | Tokyo-Nagano EPIC ツ [5/8]

[Music] Okay. So, day five, I think. Yes, it is day five. Um, right now, uh, I’m preparing right away as just as I woke up. And, you know, we’re going back to Tokyo. So that means we’re going to have to go to a train, a bullet train once again, all the way from this station somewhere in this station, the Tuyama station all the way to uh all the way back to Ueno or the Shintansen line. So right now I’ll be packing up my stuff and eat some breakfast probably. This is the only breakfast that I have, bro. This is the only thing, you know. I got protein here, another protein here. I didn’t even exercise, but I don’t know, bro. It’s just that’s just the only thing I can only think of eating. But anyways, um I’ll see you guys there. Uh once we finally get back to Tokyo or whatever it is, if there’s anything something new, then maybe I can get to show you. So, uh let’s do this. Let’s start this day. So, um right now, uh we are walking all the way towards the Tyama station, I think. so that we will be able to take the bullet train. And once we take the bullet train, we’ll be um we are bound to through the Shinkansen line all the way to Weno and then check into the EPA hotel which is the same branch from the Ueno. So yeah, we are just going back there. And right now I’m carrying this thing with me because um most of the clothes don’t fit anymore in that luggage that we have. So right now it’s going to be lit. I don’t know how it’s going to go, but yeah, we have some agendas for today and I can’t wait to be able to spend all that in here for this day. So see you guys once we finally get to the train. So, uh we are here at Tuyama station. Here is the railway. You can see my little sisters running all the way. Um right now, uh we’re currently waiting for the train. And right and I got my tickets right here. So, yeah, we’ll just be waiting for around I I don’t know what time it is. Okay, 21 more minutes. So, that shouldn’t take too long probably. But yeah, I guess I’ll see you guys when we finally make it to Tokyo all the way back. [Music] So right now uh we just left the AP hotel summary no you know it’s like it’s basically the same hotel that we went through last time you know for the first two days I think and then yeah we also got out from the build train which was a 2-hour ride so it was quite long you know had to take me to go to sleep there while on the trip. But yeah, I’m glad I didn’t miss anything out. So yeah, and we’re going to be having some lunch, you know, somewhere around this area. And I don’t really know what the food is about or what the food is that they are offering, but yeah. And after that, we’ll be heading to a Harry Potter themed amusement park. I wouldn’t really know if it’s an amusement park or something else. But yeah, it’s Harry Potter themed and I don’t really know that much about the show itself because it’s not what I grown up into when I was a kid. So, but I think it’s still going to be interesting. So, we’re heading down there to the lunch area that we’re going to go. So, yeah. So, we are here at Tena. Um, usually it’s a restaurant where it’s uh tries to offer tendons. So, pretty much there’s like lots of tempuras in there, but yeah. Uh, so I’m having an assorted um tempura, but basically uh there’s like vegetables and some shrimps and some squids in it. So I can’t wait to try. Here is um I I think that’s a sauce where you could put the tempura in and some side dishes and this soba right here. So I didn’t know that there was like a hot and cold soba like a variant. So yeah, I thought at first when I get served with a uh soba that looks differently, I thought I was served wrong, but it turns out that this was like the hot bay or what it looks like. So, um we just made here uh in a train station and I also had some lunch and the food was good, you know, especially the tempura which I really enjoyed it the most because of the way it tastes, the way it the food tries to melt in your mouth or something like that. But anyways, um right here I’m now inside of the train station here and I’m inside the train and for some reason this is how we’re going to go now heading towards the Harry Potter Museum. So yeah, this is not really a good time. So, we arrived at the store station, which is I guess one of the ways we can go to the Harry Potter Museum, which turned out to be a museum once again. Um, yeah. So, I think the plan here is we’re going to transfer to another train. So, yeah, that’s how it’s supposed to go. I know it’s kind of sudden that we have to leave uh to a train right away, but yeah, this is the way to go. So, um, right now I kind of figured out what to where to go at least after I asked my aunt about where to go. So, we’re heading to this the Sable line. So, yeah, I’m not really sure if it’s going to take us directly or that that was the whole vantage point to the Harry Potter Museum, but yeah, it’s part of the destination. So, yeah. So um we arrived at the Toshiban station which is from the Sable line. So this is actually where we needed to go to the Harry Potter Museum. So yeah, we’re just going to continue walking and my aunt said that it’s going to take for how many minutes of walking and all that and few steps and all that. So yeah. Okay. So, I think I’m finally getting the gist now of uh what the museum is all about. So, Oh, look at that. So, I think I’m finally getting the gist once again about what the museum is about since uh the title suggests or the name of the museum suggests that it’s the making of Harry Potter. So, most of the time I think we would be able to see some behind the scenes content and everything else including the setting and such. Man, it is getting hot in here. But yeah, it’s always usually chill at times like these. By far whenever we transfer a different location. So it’s like, you know, whenever we go to Nagana like last time, we would be able to only go for a few landmarks for a very short time. So yeah, this is the same thing when we go back to Tokyo, specifically in Owen district. This is the things that we are going to go with. So, I feel like this is how uh it works. And also, um just in case if you don’t know, but yeah, this is a DIY trip. So, it’s like that’s why I would keep mentioning that my aunt is usually the one who decides along with my mom. So, yeah, we don’t have a tourist guy. We don’t have anyone, you know, anyone here, any locals in here who would be able to guide us through, you know, when it comes to the places that we need to go. So yeah, that’s the reason why for all that. So hope it makes sense to each and every single one of you. Dude, just right after I freaking uh stopped recording, there’s the museum already. I’m not sure if you can see it’s already here. Yo. Oh man. I mean, I don’t know. I don’t know, man. Maybe I’m going to feel overwhelmed because I’m not into this show because you know, you know what kind of shows I would usually grow up into, right? Right. It’s like I grew up in different cartoon shows, you know. But I think it would be nice to be able to learn something about the show that I don’t know. So like in this booklet by far I think there are like a sets of clues that you find in each page and then you have to figure it out where you need to find them. So, it depends on the question that the past book has is asking you. And then there’s like at the very end there’s like these answers. But I don’t actually wanted to spoil it because I’ll try my best to figure it out to find it. And yeah, once it once you actually find all the answers correctly and then probably claim it there, you’ll get a special stamp which you which will be right here. Well, I already found this one and this one, this one, and then the prey first one. So, we’re looking for the fourth clue. But yeah, unfortunately, I couldn’t be able or well, at least to be fair, right, I couldn’t be able to film all of the uh the answers of those clues. So, right now, I’m actually trying to find the luggage trolley of Hermayo, although I wouldn’t really know where. Bart [Music] defense as maybe it’s one of these things in this ombber rose dress. One shimmering under the other adds to its Oh, this probably this one in contrast being all the end is Yeah, I can’t film the dra the the all these things that we find because if it’s was shared in public then yeah they would spoil all the experience. They actually serve butterbeer. I don’t really know what that is, but I want to know what it tastes like. So, here it is. This is the butterbeer that everyone’s talking about. I’m not sure if it’s actually looks like the same thing, but I actually wanted to try since everyone’s hyping on it. So, this is the thing. Uh the good thing about this I just realized or someone actually told me from the server is that uh the cup is also free. So that’s one of the perks you could actually get once you get into the zero. It smells like butter and then the uh the lower part is like the soda as ever as someone else would say. It’s actually very good. At the same time, it’s something that I wouldn’t really try eating. You actually need to mix the butter into the soda. Give it a try. I mean, there’s it’s still kind of the same, but there’s like a little bit of a mixture of the the butter and the soda already. So, it’s much better if you actually mix it this way. I’m an idiot, man. Because the last time I did, you know, without mixing it, the flavors were actually separated. So, I get to taste separately the butter and the soda at the same time. I mean, at the different times, if that makes sense. So, yeah, it’s pretty good. So, I’m given a little bit of a time to figure out the rest of the clips. It’s kind of sad that you know, you know, once you’re giving the all this pass book and all their effort to be actually to be given and then there’s like you’re not engaged in the game. I don’t know. I don’t know. It just it’s just a missed opportunity. I want to do it. I want to do it. I actually want to find something. I mean, it’s progressing, right? Since we find the third clue earlier, it would make sense if we keep going around this room. I didn’t actually get to focus on the place that much now. It’s just we have limited time to stay here. Got to appreciate the amount of uh sculptures that they actually did for the characters even though if they are mannequins and everything. Really nice. Oh my [Music] gosh. This is where ordinary household items and other various objects and types of material. Yeah, that’s one of the interesting things about, you know, being in the sound department when you’re in the film. It’s always about the sound effects that you make. It’s the Foley artists. Those are criminally underrated people. Criminally underrated audio artists out there. Yeah. I think that’s what also makes it creative when you’re in a film and then you know when it comes to the uh making sounds and everything is you got to is applying the realness to the actual movie you know becoming more practical and all that. So we’re advancing through the brilliant one. I’ve got something but it’s mad redto. [Music] Oh. So I guess from what this TV has is the mixture of all the layers of the sounds. I thought it was going to be like some there’s like some colors in it, but it turns out it’s just a it’s just a print. Really, it’s really it’s really nice. It’s really cool. I don’t really know what we’re going to do. But I feel like at this point since we are all here in the waiting area, uh I think we’re going to be leaving this place and we’ll start checking in on the hotel which was uh the same hotel that we had for the first few days. So right now we are back in the park uh which is uh where the Harry Potter um museum tour was actually located. So yeah, uh this was the whole experience. Uh I’m sorry if I wouldn’t really get to shoot the most of the um of the other parts of the tour. It’s just there are some points where uh we are rushing for the check-ins and everything. So yeah, if we actually get to stay um and then actually try to maximize the whole tour, we would get we would be taking the whole day like the very much the whole day to the point where uh it’s probably going to be late, you know, when we try to finish it. But anyways, uh we’ll try to uh go back on on the train stations. I kind of forget the name of those stations, but yes, we are going back there. You know, the same procedure except that it’s backwards. So yeah, the experience overall was really good. It was really engaging. And I guess I could I guess it’s safe to say at this point that I’ve been acculturated by the Harry Potter franchise. So I don’t know. Maybe I’ll start reading the books. Maybe I would start watching the movies. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just hopping on the bandwagon just because I was exposed to that specific uh to that museum or whatnot. But it was really great. It’s really great actually getting to know the characters, the people who are making the whole franchise possible and everything else, how the sound was made, how everything was produced. It’s actually nice to get some touch of history. So, it actually gets to make you learn something new about, you know, all of those movies. And I think this is such a great opportunity. You know, on the other hand, just because, you know, just because you’re not really that much of a fan of the hair product franchise doesn’t always mean that, you know, you shouldn’t be open to anything at all and just focus on the things that you like only. So yeah, I really got to thank my aunt at first, even though I feel shy on saying this, but I want to thank her for uh for her initiative to actually to invite her whole crew to go into this, you know, despite how she is a bigger fan, you know, of the Harry Potter series, but still, you know, getting to actually know about what she likes, what everyone likes, and why do they find so much interest on that franchise. guys. I don’t know, bro. Something about these kinds of lines really opens my mind. Something like this. But yeah, so that’s going to be that much of what I really think about this whole experience. So right now, uh we’re going back once again to the train stations. So yeah, uh it’s going to be the same thing over and over again, except it’s just backwards. So yeah, I’ll see you guys when we finally checked in from the hotel. It’s good sun though. Okay. What a long day. All right. So, right now I’m back in the APA hotel. So, it’s basically the same. So, I don’t have to do the freaking hotel room tour over again. But we are back. I’m here. And right now, I’m just resting from everything, especially from after riding the train, commuting, and all that. So, um yeah, I think we’re planning to eat dinner at this point. So, uh, yeah, after that, we would also try to go shopping. So, if there’s anything that I really want to shoot there, I’ll just show it to you in the video. I don’t really know how it’s going to happen, how I really want to shoot anything. But yeah, uh, the train ride lasted for hours, you know, as always, because, you know, it’s a train, there’s like a lot of destinations that it tries to sell. There’s like a lot of stops, you know, if you know what I mean. And yeah, I guess I’ll just see you guys there and I’ll let you know about the food that I’m going to be having for tonight and probably some other things too. So, I decided to not go to the market with my relatives and my family because I kind of feel like at this point I feel like uh spending my time on my own. So right now uh I’m walking alone towards the uh Ueno, you know, along the district. So I’m going to be buying some food. This is what I only feel like doing. Uh my mom also gave me some some load of money. So yeah, I could be able to put a good use for something to eat. And wow, look at that. Smells also kind of weird for some reason, but yeah. Uh maybe I’ll try to find something to eat. Probably in a supermarket, probably in a convenience store. Probably somewhere, you know, like a restaurant nearby. I don’t know. So, I’m going in for a walk pretty much throughout this whole period of time. So, yeah. You’d imagine this feels like a dream, you know, to be able to travel on your own, bro. It’s like I guess with everything that’s going on in maybe as I grow up, this is actually what I honestly feel like doing or what that is how my mind is actually processing right now or how I start to perceive things. Someone actually uh did that. It was kind of cute. But anyway, yeah, this is what I only feel like doing, bro. you know, traveling outside, strolling outside, you know, especially around this hour. I feel like the night time is the best time to walk outside. Yeah, bro. Okay, so hopefully I don’t try to get too far, way too far, you know, because I don’t have the maps with me. I don’t have Wi-Fi with me, so if I get way too lost. Okay, I don’t think there’s anything in here. There’s the uh I think that’s the the tendon and soba. I already have that one. Yeah. So like I have limited um limited traveling time. So yeah, I can’t go far. I can’t honestly go far. I’ll try to find more restos if ever that that is at least cheaper than not to say the least. Oh my gosh. So, I am here at McDonald’s. Um, just wanted to try some food here since it’s very much different from McDonald’s that I am. So, okay, bro. So, turns out I actually had the cheeseburger at this point and I actually wanted a the double roast beef one. I don’t know. And I that’s actually the reason why um I came here in the first place because I wanted to try different dishes, you know, that is far more different from what my original country has. But turns out I only had the cheeseburger that I ordered. And yeah, I didn’t actually do anything about that since the order was punched in and I don’t want to make or to get into some any kind of trouble. So, I tried to adjust the situation. But anyway, I had the this milkshake. It’s actually pretty good. Um, reminds me of the frosty from Wendy’s. I don’t know, maybe it’s just the look, maybe it’s just the texture. You can already see the color color of it. I don’t know. It just reminds me of it, bro. But yeah, so that’s just going to be pretty basically pretty much it for that. So I’ll just be finishing the rest of this milkshake here. And yeah, that’s just going to conclude for this day’s vlog. My bad. So that concludes for today’s vlog. I feel like I’m going to be humbled by who is going to watch this video, especially from someone who is a big Harry Potter fan XD

For this fifth day, the squad and I finally checked out of Toyama and returned to Ueno to check in again at the same hotel! The journey also covers my time with my crew inside the Making of Harry Potter museum, out of the craze of my aunt’s passionate interest in the series. I also took a nightly stroll at night to relieve some stress brought by the world as of late :3
