Today we will be doing a day camp. It’s been about 6 months since we last went camping. Yu-chan and Ki-chan are still a little small. I’d like to go camping with them in the fall. Today we came to scout the camp area for their camping debut. We came to the “Shiawase no mura” in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. The facility itself is really spacious. This is an auto camping site within the facility. I used to come here often with my family when I was a child. This campsite is very popular with families. This is what the campsite looks like. It is a well-organized campsite. Water supply is installed in each camp section. It’s very convenient. Today is a day camp, but it is also suitable for overnight stays. Here is the parking space. You can set up a tent right next to it. The campsite is also equipped with AC power outlets. I think we’ll feel safe here even if it’s our first family camping trip. There is also a sink and a furnace like this one. We can cook here. This is the power supply. There are electrical outlets at each site. It feels like a high-standard campsite. I think it’s easy for families to use. The babies aren’t coming with us this time, but I hope they can come someday. I was nervous about taking my baby to a campsite I’d never been to before. So we came here today to check if it’s safe. Also, I brought new outdoor goods today, so I’ll introduce them to you later. Let’s set it up for now. The setup is complete. Today is a day camp so we only set up a tarp. And we set up the chairs and table like this. We set up a camping tarp in the middle of the site. It’s spacious and there’s plenty of space to pitch a tent. I think it would be fine to set it up facing either direction. It’s hot today. It’s April but it’s hot. It’s hot in Kansai. I’m already wearing short sleeves. LOL The grounds of “Shiawase no mura” are very large. I’m currently at this auto camping site. It’s located at the edge of the property. There is also a nursery school and a hospital on the premises. There is a hot spring facility in the center of the property. There is a jungle hot spring here. There is also a playground called “Trim Park” with children’s play equipment. There are various facilities on the premises. There’s even a tennis court. It’s very spacious. It’s still too early for Yu-chan and Ki-chan. But there are lots of fun spots for toddlers and elementary school students. Day camp is available from 10am to 7pm. It’s quite long. The usage fee for one plot is cheap at 2,000 yen. It’s past 11 o’clock now, so I’ll have lunch. I’ll introduce new items later. First, fill our stomach. Camping is all about Yakiniku. Barbecue. Today I will be using a cassette stove and yakiniku plate. It was a bit of a pain to use the charcoal. It’s a day camp, so enjoy it easily. Ingredients for Yakiniku. Meat and vegetables. Onigiri bought at a convenience store. This yakiniku sauce is called “Gentare”. This is a famous yakiniku sauce exclusive to Aomori. I love this yakiniku plate. This is my first time using it for camping. Okay. Let’s get started. Yu-chan and Ki-chan have been attending nursery school since April. We are self-employed so we don’t have parental leave. For the past 4 months since the twins were born, we have been working while raising them. It was really hard work. My twins started going to nursery school this month, which has helped me get more work done. Editing YouTube videos in between raising twins was a lot of work. It’s been a very busy 4 months. We haven’t had a day off for 4 months. It’s pork belly. Today is a day camp, so we’ll be drinking non-alcoholic drinks. Cheers. I never thought I’d be wearing short sleeves in April. Last April, I was still living in Hokkaido, so it was cold. I’ll enjoy having this. In order to send my twins to a nursery school starting in April, I had to go through the formalities last fall. I had to apply even though my two children hadn’t been born yet. LOL I thought it would be difficult to continue working while raising twins at home. That’s why I applied for nursery school early. But I am glad I made that choice. These past 4 months have been really tough. I’m glad I made the decision early on because home childcare had its limits. However, we were suddenly baptized into nursery school. All four members of my family caught a cold. We both still have a bit of a cold or a runny nose. Yu-chan and Ki-chan are still coughing a little. I’m glad they didn’t get a fever or become seriously ill. We caught colds soon after they started going to nursery school. When children start going to nursery school, they are more likely to catch a cold. But I didn’t think it would happen so soon. This campground is clean and each site has running water. Isn’t this a great place for family camping debut? I think it’s very good. I can feel safe coming here with our babies. I remember coming here many times as a child. I remember playing a lot with the playground equipment. It’s good to have a playground too. The hot spring is called “Jungle Hot Spring” and is quite large and unique. I think it’s great for families with children. Shall we make Yu-chan and Ki-chan’s camping debut at this campsite? For day camping, I think any campsite will be fine. If the campsite is in the countryside, it can be difficult if something goes wrong. This campsite is also conveniently located near a hospital. You can get there from Osaka in just over an hour. Thank you for the meal. Meat eaten outside is definitely better. I sometimes have yakiniku at home, but eating it outside is something special. When we grill meat at home, the room smells bad, so it’s better to do it outside. That’s right. LOL We’ll be able to go camping a lot again in the future. We’ll clean up and introduce new items. This is the new outdoor gear. It’s loaded into the car now. It’s an electric bicycle. We brought along 2 foldable electric bicycles. It’s compact enough to be carried in our car. Let’s try putting it outside for now. OK. This folding electric bicycle is the “ADO AIR 20 PRO”. There are two colors. Grey close to black. And blue. It’s a beautiful light blue color. It’s folded up right now so let’s unfold it. It can be easily folded. Okay. It unfolded in no time. The center of the main body and the handle can be folded. So it’s pretty compact. I plan to cycle around the premises with this. I will briefly introduce the features of this bicycle. The exterior is as you can see. It is foldable and very compact, making it easy to carry. This electric bicycle is easy to use both outdoors and in everyday life. It looks stylish. We’ve always wanted an electric bike. When I came back to Osaka, I noticed that there are many narrow roads. I thought it would be convenient to have an electric bicycle for times when it doesn’t feel like using a car. I finally obtained it. The saddle part is the battery, so at first glance it doesn’t look like an electric bicycle. Let’s take it out. The battery can be locked with a key to prevent theft. Open this lever. This saddle part can be removed. This is plugged in now so you’ll have to unplug it. You can pull it out like this. Long. LOL It looks like this. This bottom part is the battery. So you can remove it and charge it at home. It is also possible to charge it without unplugging it. It looks like this. The saddle height can also be adjusted. You can adjust the angle of various parts. You can set it to your liking to make it easier to ride. Now let’s actually get on and explore the grounds. This site is really large. However, you cannot ride bicycles within this auto campsite. I’ll ride outside. The cycling begins. The power switch is here. Press the button under the saddle. There is a control panel on this handle. I’ll also turn this power on. OK. For now, I’ll go with assist mode 1. Now let’s go. Oh! It’s already light! Smooth start. Wow, that’s so fun! Light! Assist mode 1. I am currently cycling in eco mode. There’s also a sport mode. So you can climb hills powerfully with it. I’ll try level 2. It accelerates really fast. It requires very little force. There’s a steep slope ahead. Oh my goodness. It’s a steep hill. But it’s comfortable. I tried setting it to level 3. It’s a hill, but it’s not difficult. Wow! Wow! LOL It’s quite steep. Oh. Amazing. Even in Eco mode, I can climb hills without any problems. What a steep hill! LOL I don’t think we can climb it on a normal bicycle. Switch modes in the app. I was climbing a hill in eco mode. You can change the mode by connecting to the app. I’ll try sport mode. This is probably better when climbing slopes. Let’s start again. I set it to level 3 in sport mode. This is the middle of the slope. How about it? Oh! Oh!! Very light. You can climb hills even more easily than in eco mode. On hills it’s better to use sport mode. Wow, amazing. It can easily handle steep slopes. Amazing! Amazing, it’s easy to climb. Steep slopes are no problem. I was able to climb the hills with ease. Very comfortable. Current location, here we are. We left the auto campsite and cycled half way around the premises. It was a steeper slope than I expected. But thanks to the assist function, I didn’t even break a sweat. I was able to climb the hill with ease. We circle back around and head back to the campsite. The facility is so spacious and looks like this. It’s around the middle now. This seems to be the building with the hot springs. The main building is here. I’m not tired yet because the electric bike was comfortable. I discovered a garden. Amazing. Japanese Garden. There are places like this in the facility. Those are cherry blossoms, but they’ve already fallen. The one in the back is still blooming a little. Interesting. It’s peaceful. I’m back. It was a good workout. I enjoyed cycling. It was extremely comfortable. The slope was steep, so I was able to fully test the performance of this electric bicycle. It was fun. Let’s have a tea break. I’ll have some tea and then go home. I forgot my jacket today. LOL It was hot when I arrived, but now the wind has come out and it’s cold. LOL It’s too early to wear short sleeves in April. LOL The bicycle was very nice. It was more of a hill than I expected. LOL At first I was cycling in eco mode. However, the hill was long so I switched to sport mode halfway up. It was very comfortable. Even in Eco mode, there are no problems around town or on normal slopes. Since it was a mountain road-like slope, I tried the sport mode. This electric bicycle has automatic shifting. So the operation was very easy. It changes gears according to the speed you are pedaling. So you don’t have to operate it yourself. You can choose from three levels of assist strength. You can climb steep slopes smoothly by using level 3 of the sports mode. Despite the mountain path, almost no strength was required. Since it is a belt type rather than a metal chain, there is no need to worry about getting your clothes dirty. It also comes with lights and turn signals, so it is safe to ride at night. There are lots of other detailed features like that. When we go out as a family, we usually use the family car. However, I will probably use it in the future when going shopping nearby or enjoying cycling around the campsite. I think it will be useful from now on. Even though it’s an electric bicycle, it folds up super compact. I brought two and still had room in the car. I want to bring it with me when I go out to a large facility. This campsite had a variety of facilities. It is also safe for families with babies. I think our kids will enjoy it even when they are older. So it’s perfect for family camping. There were plenty of play areas. There were also many elderly users. They enjoyed tennis, ground golf and walking. There was a walking trail on the premises. I can see why it’s popular with families. It’s a good campsite. It is very suitable for spending time with family. Next time I come, I want to bring Yu-chan and Ki-chan with me. The withdrawal was completed.
