Chasing Cherry Blossoms: The Ultimate Motorcycle Tour of Hokkaido

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my YouTube channel : Finally, I’ve arrived here! Today, I’m planning to visit several places to see cherry blossoms. In Hokkaido, they might not be at their peak yet, but the weekend—when full bloom is expected— is forecast to be rainy, so I’d like to enjoy the blossoms today. Yeah, let’s go! Spring ride for cherry blossoms in Hokkaido. From Shirakami Cape to Matsumae Castle, and Omonai Sakura Road. Then to Sakuragaoka Street, Goryokaku Park, and Hokiji Temple’s weeping cherry. Ended at Togirichi Camp. Wow, the scenery is amazing! Wow, there are bamboo plants here! Wow, this is the Ketsumyaku-zakura cherry tree! Wow, it’s so beautiful! Wow, that’s a hawk! There are so many hawks here! Wow, the scenery is amazing. I’m heading to Matsumae Castle. It’s famous for its cherry blossoms. Yeah. Wow! The sea looks so beautiful. The seagull is flying. Yeah. It’s windy, so it’s hard to ride the motorcycle. Awesome. There are cherry blossoms over there. Can you see them? I feel like I’m getting close. But this is my first time coming to
Matsumae Castle, so I’m not exactly sure. Wow. Wow. Wow, there are bamboo plants here! Wow, this is the Ketsumyaku-zakura cherry tree! It’s so beautiful. Wow, this tree is breathtaking. It’s so big! Wow. That’s the castle. Wow, it’s so beautiful. It’s so nice. Since I’m here, I might as well go down and take a look. Wow, there’s a little river here. Wow. It’s so beautiful here. This is Musha-zakura,
a special type of cherry tree. This is Ōyama-zakura,
a type of wild cherry tree. I just forgot to wear my gloves. I swear, I forget my gloves all the time. Okay, next I’m heading to Omonai Sakura Road. Okay, it’s 4 PM now, so the sun will set in about an hour or two. Oh, a sign for Matsumae Hot Spring. Looks like there’s a hot spring here. I’m really interested in it. Wow. I feel good riding along this coastline. Wow, look at this. Wow. Wow, so many seagulls flying! Wow. Wow. The scenery is breathtaking. Wow. Look at the mountain. It’s so beautiful. Wow. Look at the rock! Wow, it’s so windy. Whoo! It’s windy. It’s so nice. Wow, that’s a hawk! Yeah. Wow. Wow. That’s a hawk. There are so many hawks here. (Shiriuchi is known for its hawks.) Wow. I’m almost there. I remember those trees over there. I think that’s the Shiriuchi Shrine. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, everyone! This is Omonai Sakura Road — a cherry blossom-lined road. Oh my god… but it’s not in full bloom yet. So… yeah. I think all the trees on the left are cherry blossoms… but, you know… Yeah. They haven’t bloomed yet. Oh my god. Oh my god. Do you remember this road? The snow was piling up when I came here in winter. But it’s melted away. Yeah. But spring hasn’t come here yet. Yeah. The sun will set soon, so I should head home. Yeah. It’s dangerous to ride at night because I’m a beginner. Yeah. Thank you for watching. If you enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and leave a comment! Yeah. Goodbye! Thank you!
