Chubu Centrair International Airport Full Guide for a Smoother Experience to Nagoya Japan

[Music] Good morning, good afternoon, good evening everyone. Welcome back in our channel Mad Corner here and for this episode we are back in a very underrated place here in Japan. We have visited this place before and up until now I feel like it is still living under the shadow of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto or the golden triangle. Me personally, I feel like Nagoya should be up there because it is complete when it comes to culture, food, shopping, and everything that you want as a tourist. However, there is a good chance that the first question that will pop up in your mind once you decided to go here in Nagoya would be how to go to the city from Chubu Center International Airport. And that’s what we are going to tackle on this video. By the way, just a reminder, it’s best to always complete your Visit Japan web QR code before going here because that will smoon your immigration and customs process and it will save you time. Trust me. Once you finish all necessary steps, this is what you’re going to see. Again, this is the arrival lounge. And then me personally, the first thing that I will always do once I arrive here is to get money. And as you guys remember, I always withdraw my money from any ATM here in Japan. It’s just a personal choice because I really don’t like bringing cash in the airport. So my solution is to just withdraw money once I land in my destination. And again, I always use my G-Cash card because they always provide the best conversion rate. After withdrawing money, you have to exit on this side. You will definitely see this on your left side and then walk on this area. Wow, it’s cold. By the way, we are shooting this by March of 2025. March 7, 2025. You just have to go on your left side, walk straight to it, and then you will see this elevator. Just a heads up as well, Chubu Central International Airport is quite big, but it’s very intuitive. So for example, we took the elevator. Then you will go to the second floor. And then again on your left side, you will see this one. It says departure lobby T2 or terminal 2. And this is where you will get your pocket Wi-Fi. And we booked ours via cluke.com. Can easily find it here. Once you go inside, it’s on your right side. Here you go. It says global Wi-Fi ninja Wi-Fi. And we booked ours again via cluke.com. and take advantage of our promo code mad corner clue to enjoy the 3 to 5% discount. Again, that is Mad Corner Clue. Guys, please use it. You just have to present the QR code and that’s it. You might be wondering how come we are always using pocket Wi-Fi. Well, because we are sharing it with my girlfriend who’s holding the camera right now. And just like that, we are already online. ECSABC. Something that you might want to consider would be booking this ahead of time. One more thing, 92% of you guys watching this video are not yet subscribed in our channel. So I beg you, please hit that subscribe button. I know it’s an extra effort from your end, but it really means a lot to me and you are really going to help me moving forward in growing our channel. I know you might be tired hearing it, but please subscribe in our channel. Now you already have your cash. You’re already connected to the internet with your pocket Wi-Fi. Next thing that you need to do is walk on this area. You see that entire bridge? That’s what we have to face here in Chubu Center International Airport. This is not your regular airport because they have here inside the flight of dreams. This place which is quite big and tons of restaurants that you can choose from. This is on your way to that bridge that I showed you a while ago. Look at this massive airplane here currently displayed. And this place itself became a tourist attraction already. Definitely your Japan trip won’t be complete without seeing any gacha. And here inside the airport they have tons and obviously the airport itself is not an exception. Price range for these gachas would be around 300 to 500 yen. So for these gachas it’s just a matter of picking your own poison. You might be wondering as well what would be our watch for this Nagoya trip. It is none other than the SBSC00009 which we purchased. We got lucky back in Akihabara a few months ago. So if you haven’t watched that episode, I will put the link on the description box down below. So you can watch it after this video. The white dial enhance just completely complements the strong bright orange on the GMT hand. I really like the design and the color combination of this one. Just like what I said a while ago, guys, this is going to be a long walk and it’s an open bridge. So, if you are visiting Nagoya during cold weather, just be prepared. After like 10 minutes of walking, you will see this one. This is the terminal one. And this is where you need to go. Basically, you have to transfer from terminal 2 going to terminal one because here’s where you can take the train going to Nagoya CP. Here’s what I can suggest to you guys. Book this Metsu Chubu Center airport express ticket for 351 pesos. That would be around 900 plus yen. Because if you will book or buy ticket here, it will cost you around 1,400 yen. So imagine that’s quite of a difference, right? And we booked ours again via cluke.com. And again, one more time, take advantage of our promo code madcorner cluke. And you can actually get an extra discount on that one. Now, how are you going to use this? Just click on this one. See voucher. Then you will see this. There’s a link. And then tap this one. And then you will have the QR code here. This QR code will be scanned on that area. Again, they have a QR code here. Thank you. Okay, [Music] just a heads up, that QR code has a 5 minute expiration time. So, just a heads up. After you have successfully scanned your QR code, just go here. Track number three, the red one. It’s on your left side. This one will lead you to Nagoya City. And just like that, boys and girls, after 40 to 45 minutes of train travel, we finally made it here in Nagoya station. But the step-by-step process is not yet done because once you are here in Japan, you always need the IC card. And here in Nagoya, it is the manaka card. Unfortunately, we were not able to show you how to do it because we already have it, but you can easily get yours inside the Nagoya station. You just have to pay 500 yen as a deposit and then just load it up depending on your spending habit. Welcome to Nagoya, boys and girls. And this is how it looks like right now. It’s really cold. Something that I really like about Nagoya would be the amount of people in here. It’s not dense like what they have in Tokyo. In short, you are going to enjoy your personal space here. This is the exact place where we stayed few months ago or technically last year. So, if you haven’t watched those videos, I’ll put the link or the playlist link on the description box down below so you can check it later. And this is Haruya. So, if you are a fan of card collection, Magic cards, this is a good place. By the way, we are staying here at Apa Hotel Nagoya Ekima Minami. This is also the exact hotel that I stayed in last year. We decided to pick this one again for several reasons. Number one, budget- wise, there’s no denying that this is very competitive when it when it comes to their pricing. Second reason, in terms of proximity, it has a good placement. Very strategic from the train station. If you want to go shopping, big camera is just walking distance. Tons of restaurants around and again just like what I showed you a while ago, hobby stores are around as well. And the third reason why I always pick up a hotel would be because of their feature called pay upon check in simply because I’m one of those people who kind of veer away from entering my card details online or anywhere. So as much as I can, I just pay in cash or again upon checkin in your hotel. And because of those three reasons, we keep coming back in Apa Hotel. This is not a sponsored ad, guys. It’s just a matter of personal preference. But maybe in the future, we’re going to try other budget hotels as well. I know you’ve seen this several times already. But let’s do a quick tour just in case you are still curious about how the room looks here. 608 was assigned to us. And in terms of size, let’s say standard standard Japan budget hotel size. As you can see, that’s the bed. One thing I noticed, by the way, is that not all Apple hotels has this feature because back in Jimbo, the bed does not have this space below where you can place your luggage. While in Asakuza and this one in Nagoya, they have it. Same setup just like before. They have the small refrigerator, a chair over here, and then of course, big mirror. And for the shower room, pretty small, I would say. Just enough for you to have your bath and have your private time in this throne. It is already 3:15 p.m., boys and girls, and we haven’t taken our lunch yet. We might need few minutes just to recharge. And after that, we’re going to look for a lunch [Music] [Music] place. We found ourselves here inside Nano Universe somewhere here in Sakay. And surprisingly, we found a watch here, Seikko 5. And I think this is a collaboration between them and Seikko. Over here it says Nano Universe. This watch boasts a rotating silver bezel which makes it super clean with the white dial. And then it has an accent of I know it looks like a lime green and they’re selling it for 41,800 yen. And then you have to chop off 30% off to get the final price. They also have another Seikko chronograph over here which is pure black within with a white dial and three sub dials as well for 39,600 yen. Right next to it would be a Casio G-Shock and then another Casio G-Shocks from 16,500 up to 32,450 yen. This is just a random store that we checked. It’s in the fourth or fifth floor of this building and I’ll put the details on the description box down below. To tell you honestly, it looks like a gentleman’s store. I really like the vibe. Very professional. Look at this things. See? Look at that. Very clean. This is what it looks like from the outside. And not just for the gentleman’s out there. Ladies, you can also enjoy some of their items here just outside. And all of the items are displayed right in front. I hope I was able to provide you enough information on how to navigate Chubu Centre International Airport and the how-tos of going to Nagoya Station. Right now, it is already 700 p.m. here in Nagoya. And we have to call it a day because tomorrow we have a jam-packed destination that I’m really looking forward to visit for the past few months. If you have any suggestions, please let me know in the comment section. I would love to hear anything from you guys. Once again, don’t forget to subscribe in our channel and I’ll see you again next week for another episode. Mad Corner, I’m out.

  1. Fyi lang. Yang APA hotel, i will never stay there. Yung owner nya is an anti-semite and a holocaust denier. He is also a history revisionist. Sabi nya, hindi daw nangyari yung comfort women and hindi nangyari yung mga massacre na ginawa ng hapon. Meron yan dyang libro bawat kwarto na sinulat nya. If can find it, read it and think about how you are enriching this person.
There are many alternatives to APA just seach for business hotels.
