Tokyo’s Most Insane Nightlife – Welcome to Kabukicho!

All right, we are in Shinjuku. Koko’s maybe liveliest town. But here is exactly opposite side of Shinjuku’s famous red light area. So we are seeing different side of Shinjuku tonight. This area also is very unique. Full of shopping mall, night life area as well. A lot of isa food and anything you need you can find in this area as well. A lot of game center, pachinko, bars, so Shinju actually this area also was a big part of uh Tokyo’s area in Edo period. By the way, this one is a hub here as well. I think there are too many hubs in Shinjuku. This hub is not as crowded and as the other one in area, but still it’s good to experience it to have some drink here. So, so Shinjuku is the biggest station in the world as I mentioned earlier. And this one is Shinjuku Yoko. It’s very new. It’s like a Shibuya Yoko. There are two actually. Yoko is Shinjuku. This one also is big and very popular. But the one in Shir I think it’s more beautiful. As you can see all the shops from outside and in this side also there are many girls bar and other stuff as well but it’s not very focused like in Kabik. So let me show you another view of the shiny. I think it was opened about two three years ago. This one is very new. Similar to Asakus. So this side of Shinjuku is not as crowded and crazy and stress like cover. So Shinjuk is really famous for uh night life. There are too many. Also the the uh west side of Shinjuku is Totoay which is the place that government buildings are located. And then there are many shopping mall. There are many cozy hidden areas like golden guy and also It’s a town. So in average every actually 3 half million people visit Shinjuku. By that I mean some of them they use just for transportation, some they just come from visit. Anyway, 3.5 million every day is a big number. Makes it the busiest station in the world. So in the north side of the station is Kabuko which is super popular night life big Japan’s biggest red light nightife area. Too many bars host club and club hotel. It’s really wild. It’s very lively until morning. Then we have golden guy. I think uh Tokyo’s number one’s nostalgic. bar hopping area. So in this is it if you go straight go to Shinjuku son with a lot of shopping mall shop and stuff. They are closed now. It’s late night. Now you’re interested in it. That’s so true. Yeah, that’s so true. There’s a famous Japanese garden as well here. It’s very beautiful. You have to pay to get in, especially for soccer season. It’s really popular that one. There are some unique garden inside that park. It’s really cool to visit. And what else in Shinjuku? The biggest uh love hotel areas in Shinjuku as well. tonight. All right, it seems you’re heading to Kabuka. has a dynamic energy, has gravity. It’s calling us. We have to go and check it out tonight, too. what they did. So if you go just a straight, we’re going to reach Kito in 5 minutes. But we’re going to actually go from the another seat which is more lively. So this area of Shinjuku is very popular because of that cat billboard on top of this building. I’m going to show you in a few minutes. There you go. I wanted to show you the cat billboarding. And in front of us is the Toppo Cinema, Godzilla Road. So the right side of us it’s normal Shinjuku and front of us is Tokyo fun nightlight. Wow. Let’s go. Yeah, I love it. Byebye. You already Sorry. Sorry. Hello. So, I’m going to show you Kabuk area later. We’re going to check maybe uh Golden Guy a little and then the Yoko Cho as well. Two really cool area in Shinjuku. So we use this area a lot in Shinjuku bar hopping tour. We have uh bar hopping tour in Shinjuku every uh every Wednesday. That’s the new tower. There is a food festival going on. Maybe daytime. And there is a big mess here as usual. Usually young homeless people come here and drink until morning. And also, I’m not going to advertise them for free. They have to sponsor the video. I did some video for some bars, but I at least got some money from them. So, it’s a win-win situation. If I advertise them, they sponsor the video. That would be cool. All right, we are in the fabuk area streets go directly to Shinubu and in between there many bars, host bar and Love pickles. There is one actually in Sai Coco which is sim is a copy of this one. That one is the smaller version. But this this is very nice here. You should try to find the version of the gears bar. It says that one is the original Hikuro and they have no other branch unless there is another I don’t know Gears board that they use that same concept but that shop doesn’t have any branch. There are a few hundred bars here. Most of them are very cool and really nice for drinking. A lot of them are like a snack bar and lady serves the customers. You can also sing, drink, have some snack. Some of them they have charge system. You have to pay like per hour like 500 or 1,000 and then pay for each drink. So is a clear system each bar and then yeah it’s it’s usually uh open I think from 6 to 12 midnight. It’s really nice. Also, we use this area for our bar hopping tour in Shinjuku as well. Let me show some of this area and then I go to No. All right. Hello. Hello. Welcome to the chat. Today is very crowded. So, usually we use the Golden Gate area around 8, which is not crowded like this. But now it’s really hard to walk. So is a lobby in shape. It’s like a square area with like a 200 bars. And all building have all buildings have actually three floors and some of them they have in the rooftop drinking in summer. All right. All right, it was a short view of Golanga. Let’s go to Omo. Also is a nostalgic. This one is a bar hopping area. is more for eating and drinking. They have nice uh yakuri, yakiniku also bha as well. Bhutani grilled pork and also on ramen as well. That area also is very nice. Yeah. Yeah. Jason, I’m going actually there is nice. But that area also is crowded. But less crowded than Golden Gay, I guess. Let’s see tonight. That one also is until 12 midnight. All right. So, the area just in front of us is Love hotel area. There are a few hundred love hotels located just between Kokicho and Shinuku the Korean town. And this building has too many host spots as you see. SP are thin coverage. It’s a nice temperature today. Not very It’s a little cold. It’s just good for walking. All right, here we are. just in front of Yoko’s a cool area. I’m going to show you this cool area and we going to end this stream. So, it’s midnight. Most of some more clothes now is open. So very cozy. As you see, most of them are closed. So there are about 80 70 80 isakayas in this area. Very little cozy one like this you can drink and eat chicken beef and seafood just like this. So the square shape area all located in here. Heading back up here. Most of them are closed. Actually, this area is very lively. I think until 11 p.m. It’s open until 11:00 p.m. Now it’s 12.
