CHILL TIME AT NAGANO | Tokyo-Nagano EPIC ツ [3/8]
All right, this is day three. Um, right now, uh, I am microwaving, uh, my onigiri right there because that’s what I’m going to eat for breakfast along with, uh, other foods and everything that I have in my room. So, right now I’m just waiting here and yeah, I just woke up. I’m not sure if you can see how red my eyes is because and that’s because uh I kind of stayed up because I was editing the last day uh vlog which was the second day, you know, back in my time where I was the at Tokyo DisneyC and there was like a lot of content there, bro. So that’s why it took me like around 3:00 a.m. to be able to sleep and yet I have to upload a video too. But yeah, uh right now um we are expected to leave at 900 p.m. 9:00 a.m. in this time. And yeah, this is the point where I really need to eat breakfast. And yeah, we got to have to do some quick action as well since uh we only have like two or an hour or two. So yeah, I’m just going to eat some breakfast and do some multitasking for my YouTube upload. So, and also get preparing as well for, you know, for leaving and for checking out, too. So, yeah. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy and let’s get to it, bro. This trip’s going to be good. So, we just finished packing our stuff and we finally checked out from the hotel. Um so right now uh we’re going to be turns out that we’re going to actually be taking a bullet train straight and I didn’t know that was the whole process to begin with in order to go to Nagana and everything. Plus there are two landmarks that we are going to go you know after taking the bull train which is the what do you call this the Olympic village and the and the temple and I don’t actually know what the name of the temple is but yeah they actually said that there’s a temple that is nearby after the station so we get there bro I cannot wait to get that experience of what the bullet train is like. It was actually my first time. They say that when you get inside and the way the train is going, it’s really fast, like super fast. But at the same time, you know, having that experience always comes with a cost. So, it’s pretty much expensive. But can’t wait. I seriously can’t wait. But I’m genuinely excited. [Music] Uh right now uh we just took a very long bullet train ride. Uh it was quite long. Uh I think it already took us around more than an hour, something like that. And it turns out that my parents and my relatives decided that we are going to book a uh a hotel. So we’re going to check in first before we actually get to the place. But yeah, beforehand we actually get to the place, we’re going to eat some lunch first. So yeah, I’m also getting hungry to be honest. But yeah, anyways, uh it’s going to be good. And yeah, we’ll see you there. Today’s where this tea. I’m not sure if this is rice tea, but yeah, I can’t get enough of it. Tastes so good. [Music] So we are here in a local restaurant from Japan. So uh this is the food that I have right now. So all we have is a assorted uh meat, sashimi, fishes, and you can actually see by the way that there’s salmon, tuna, that’s all that I honestly know. And I get some large rice, some tofu, some hot udon. didn’t know that there’s like a difference between like serving it hot, serving it cold. Like you can actually do that. Um, and some jelly. I don’t know if that’s matcha or anything. And the rest of those veggies, you know, for some side dish or whatnot. So, uh, thanks, Mom. And yeah, I’m going to be digging in and I hope it’s good. So, we just had the lunch at that seafood restaurant that I just showed you earlier. Uh, the food was good. You know, I love the way the udon tastes like and how chewy it’s like. It’s also kind of bouncy to the mouth. Not sure if that makes any sense. Um, the sashimi, you know, uh, they all are great, you know, knowing that that I get I can get to taste uh different kinds of fish meats. But, you know, my bias is still with the salmon one because it’s, you know, it’s what I grown up to and it’s what my taste buds are. soy into. And yeah, there are some side dishes as well. They are good, but you know, I wouldn’t really say that it’s the best. And yeah, that I think that’s just pretty much, you know, about what I ate. And of course, that tea, you know, that I wouldn’t stop drinking. Yeah, it tastes really good. Um, right now, uh, we are walking towards the landmarks. I’m not sure where we are going to land on or what we are going to go on first. Either of the two. But let’s just see how it’s going to go. Bro, I got to be honest. This reminds me of Osaka. Like the atmosphere around, you know, the cold atmosphere, the cold weather, you know? I mean, it’s not really just as colder as um Osaka, but it really looks reminds me of Osaka, bro. like the colors, like the shades. I don’t know, bro. It’s just the weather and then the what the buildings look like, the architecture or whatnot. And something like that, bro. And also the bikes, too. I don’t know. It’s just the way it looks like, man. And makes me feel like no one ever I’m here. And then uh everything feels so calm. I feel like I’m in peace. Feel like I’m finally found what my home feels like. I don’t know, maybe I’m just being too exaggerating, but yeah, this is my very first time at Nago and so far I’m getting a good impression of it. So, it’s really cool. It’s really nice. This is pretty much a chill day for us since that’s what we’re only going to do, you know, after in taking the bullet train for hours. Uh, we’re just going to have to go on to those two landmarks. And yeah, it’s going to be very chill. And you know it’s not going to be as intense like last time you know I was at Tokyo DisneyC. But yeah I hope you guys are doing okay so far you know if you ever come to reach to this part of the video. Uh I hope you guys are having a good time. Hope you guys are having all of the breaks that you needed, you know, because I think taking breaks is so important, you know, especially if you came back or if you’ve just had a uh a very stressful time or let’s just say that you get so worked up all often. So, yeah, I I apologize if I get a little rambly, but it’s just the atmosphere just feels so perfect to do something like this. And I’m glad that I could get to share something very insightful in this video. So, I hope you guys are okay. You know, everyone deserves to be loved. Everyone deserves to be um everyone deserves to be uh to be belonged to. No. And y’all are great. So, another thing that I noticed while walking on these streets is these plants though, these flowers keep showing up on the sidewalks. And it’s really great knowing how they all look so colorful, you know? So cool, bro. Makes me think, you know, how these things bring so much life in this place, you know? It’s really good. It’s really great. And I also noticed that there are some uh I don’t know if they are graves or tombstones that look you know that are etched in some of the ground like something like this dude something like here bro I’m not sure if that is once again a grave or a tombstone or like you know a person has passed away and was buried underneath that tombstone. But yeah, it’s really refreshing to be able to see uh some life, plant life in here, you know. No, I think I mentioned that in the previous video about, you know, the look of the plants and everything and admiring how great they look because of, you know, people take care of the plants and everything. Um, yeah. I’m not too much of an environmental activist or anything, but I just like, you know, I just like nature. That’s That’s just pretty much it, man. Sakura. Yo, dude, that is amazing. [Music] So uh we are actually here in uh in the temple you know uh after how many uh how many meters we have walked it was quite long but here is the gate as you can see uh I don’t know who that character is but my mom says that he is he looks like Gangaskhan so that is cool though so big bro dude that’s a shea bro it’s so Cute. [Music] Wow. Looks kind of tired though. So, it seems to be that there are more uh market places or stalls on the very sides and then there are more temple buildings right here. Wow. So, it’s like you can be able to buy different goodies, different treats and stuff, some food. No, they have it all. Bro, this temple keeps getting larger as I walk closely. That is crazy. They also got some incense, I believe. You know, I think you already know what an incense is, right? My mom actually wanted me to document this, but they look like dolls. This reminds me of that one uh I forgot what the name of that movie is, but it’s a weird Japanese movie. You know, it reminds me of that uh that doll monster where you know tries to play the red light green light game and whenever the monster sees you, your head immediately explodes. It’s one of those newbies, bro. I remember. Wow. This is a giant Buddha statue, bro. So I guess this suggest that this is a Buddhist temple. I see. Wow. And then there’s other the six other. Then you can already see that there’s some incense in there. Yeah. To relive the tradition, you know, to preserve the tradition. And some more temple structures. That is so cool. Yeah. I want to take a closer look again. Wow. Oh, so there’s like Oh, so each of them gives um symbolisms. So I don’t really know that much about, you know, the whole tradition and everything, but yeah, you can, as you can see, the first one holds a baby. The second one holds something that I don’t pretty much know. Hold on. The lag is going. Uh, the third one is holding what it seems to be like a necklace. Uh, the fourth one holding some sort of a uh I don’t really know what that is, but but it’s holding something, you know. And the next one is clasping their hands together. So, it’s I guess it suggest that they’re praying. And the last one holding some sort of a staff and the same object from the second statue. So I don’t know what all this means or everything like what it means from the tradition but it’s actually really good or really great to actually get to see you know you know how about getting to know about uh the cultures and the tradition of other people who believe in different religions or lifestyles. It’s really nice. Guess we’re entering to the uh second walkway through this temple and we’ll go to another building. So, oh my gosh, what is that sign? Oh my gosh, what is that sign? I don’t think that’s allowed on YouTube, bro. I don’t think that’s allowed on YouTube. But it’s a swastika sign, bro. Like legit swastika sign. Well, I don’t really want to, you know, uh, put a negative interpretation since, uh, pretty much it’s not just for a specific, uh, redacted group that we want to talk about here when we take up that sign. But this is another Buddhist temple building or structure. And yeah, I think we’re going to be approaching there inside. And my mom would have told me as well that it’s not allowed to film, but I guess I’ll just, you know, express it or tell you guys the experience looks like. I just went to this temple right there. Um yeah, I can’t actually film what’s inside, but we actually went in and it was like uh there was some there was like a a statue and then I would notice that there are people who are uh caressing smoothly on the statue and then there’s like this another thing where um people would throw coins on it and then they would start wishing and praying. Uh I don’t really know what that is or what the uh what what I would call but that’s that that’s where people take wish and then the main um the main altar you know that one big area where people would have to take off their shoes or they would have to put plastic bag in their shoes and then that that’s where they start praying worshiping via the statue. I think that was the whole temple. I I know that there are like other structures in here and people wouldn’t usually go in them because this is like the main focus. So yeah, I also have to keep my voice quiet because you know for the respect of um uh of those people who are you know for the whole culture and everything. I actually wanted to explore more of these structures though, but Ooh, okay. They seem to be where uh they are like these structures that you makes you think that they look like a temple, but it’s actually a residence and it’s really nice. There are some other uh structures as well. Oh, wait. I think I finally know what they are, although I’m not sure what it really is. But isn’t these what they called gates? Like they look like a house at first place, but but in reality it’s just a doorway. So I kind of mistaken it by calling it the temple as well like this, you know, just because it look like looks like this while it has a doorway and all. But yeah, the main temple actually is inside there with the swastika sign. Um yet again I don’t want to put a negative interpretation or connotation about what it means you know because you know each sign can be different for others but yeah that was actually the main temple and then the rest are just gates bro gates okay that makes it more sense now uh we are going back you know the very uh exiting from the temple itself but I They seem to be trying to buy some souvenirs. Like my parents, they seem to be going there. But for me, I don’t think I have a plan on buying anything because, you know, I’m not really that much of a guy who likes to uh buy anything, you know, like souvenirs and all that. And I always usually think of those as you know just clutters in the house you know even though I may have like uh like there are some times where I do like collecting but you know but for the most part I just don’t collect or hoard anything you know or keep anything in my house. So that’s why I try to make sure that my room is clean you know it’s free from uh any sort of clutter that goes on. So yeah, uh this is really good, you know, going back about the temple thing, uh the temple experience. It’s really good to actually get to uh to witness other cultures as well, you know. Um that’s yeah that that’s just my position on, you know, taking, you know, not trying to get too far. [Music] [Music] [Applause] Um, it turns out somehow that um, sorry about this because it’s quite raining right now. We don’t bring a we didn’t bring a uh an umbrella, but I feel like uh, sudden things has changed. Um, I feel like we’re only going to like about the Olympic Village. Uh, I think we’re we’ll only uh um go to it. Go across. And we already here. Look at this. Yo, I see. Oh, wow. Oh, so this is what they call an Olympic village, but yeah, it’s just this this whole space right here. So, there’s quite a little things for you to go. So, can I see? Look at these chairs, bro. There miniature sheds, some bouncy trampolines, I guess, and some freaking uh fountains. and a bunch of flowers too which is right here. So, uh I almost forgot that when you talk about Olympic village, this is not actually a village itself as you can see. So, it’s more like a park yet. I wouldn’t really get the reason why they called it an Olympic village, but I guess when they make something in reference to something, you know, like especially when this is a fact where Nagana hosted the Olympics on 1998. So, I feel like this is like uh a trophy build in a way, you know, knowing that they posted something, but I wouldn’t really know about the full history, but of how it is, how it happened. Maybe I could be wrong, you know, but that’s that. Let’s play this. Yeah, we’ll just come across on this since uh we’re looking forward to check in from the hotel. And I think this is the only agenda we’re going to be doing here today. And I guess the rest of it is just free time. So that means I would be having more rest. I would have more time to be able to edit things that I need to edit. So yeah. So we just finally got back to our hotel and finally checked in. So yeah, I’ll just give you guys a little room tour. Just a little very very quick tour. Uh first we got the TV which is right here. And then we got ourselves a uh sitting chair, you know. And then we got ourselves uh probably a studying table. So if you feel like reading something, you feel like writing something. So yeah, that’s good. And my favorite part is the beds because they are single beds, bro. So you can sleep whatever in your comfortable position without actually bothering someone. And then we got here a small closet. So I don’t know why is it does it look like this? But it feels like it could be good for hiding yourself from anyone who is suspecting at you. And then for the bathroom which actually I kind of looked at it at first by the time I entered the room and I’m glad to say that they have Wait, where’s the switch? Oh, the switch is outside. I’m glad to say they finally got the bathtub again. Yes. But yeah, it’s also kind of similar like the the space of the room, you know, from my previous hotel. But this one is more um is more is I guess bigger, you know, than the previous hotel because of the beds, you know, but the layout is still similar though, which is why it’s pretty nice. Now for the bathroom, other than the bathtub. Oh, thank you so much. Um, we got the sink, some toiletries, and this toilet right here that is very high tech, you know. Um, yeah, you can actually do uh play with the buttons there whenever you’re using it. And I got some towels, lights. Is there any way I can actually make it look moody? I don’t know. But yeah. And whatever this thing is, I don’t really know what that thing is right there. like the one with the circle. I don’t think you can see, but there it’s right there. I don’t know what that is, but this is the exhaust fan and everything. I think that covers up everything. So, that is the whole room. And right now, I’m not really sure what we’re going to do after because that’s pretty much the whole agenda for our third day. But yeah, we’re going to eat dinner. But I don’t know. I don’t know how it’s going to go. I don’t know what we’re going to do after. It’s just uh it’s just our rest day. Going to be a chill day. Um, yeah. Let’s just see. I also kind of forgot. Uh, this is just a quick rush video clip that this is the refrigerator right here. You can feel that it’s already open. And some another storage closet. So, oh gosh, that was loud. And I don’t know what this thing is here, too. Um, I don’t know. I can’t really tell. Uh, wait. I’m trying to look at the Oh, it’s a humidifier right here. Right here. Right here. This one. But I don’t think I I’m planning on using those in my room unless my dad wants to. So, yeah. Just have to put that there, you know. Don’t want to miss every single uh equipment, you know, or any any features that this room has. So, Disney. So, that’s going to be the conclusion for this vlog for this day. Uh it’s pretty much chill, you know. Uh there’s nothing that we pretty much do like a lot. Ever since after we took the bullet train and then go to the temple and then the Olympic village and all that. Uh we just only bought sushi and some cup noodles and supermarket, you know, that was on the train station that we went through uh earlier in the morning, I think. And then we did some window shopping at Doniote, which is probably one of the uh well-known places or shopping centers in Japan. So, that’s just pretty much it. Uh thank you everybody so much for watching. Uh I’m not sure if the vlog lasted so shortly or longer than usual, but I don’t know. Uh hope you guys enjoyed. Anyway, leave a like, subscribe, turn on those notifications in case if you don’t want to miss any type of videos I can create. Um, yeah, I’ll start editing this video right away just so I can get some rests early. And yeah, uh, tomorrow uh, we’re going to go to take the bus. So, we’ll go to Tatyama, which is, uh, also known as the Alpine or the Alps. And in case you don’t know what the Alps is, it’s just pretty much a very biggy biggy snowy mountain. So, anyway, that’s just going to be it. Uh, thank you everybody for tuning in. I really appreciate all the comments you’ve given me for uh about what you think about the vlog so far and I really appreciate it and I’m encouraging you to do more. And yeah, that’s going to be it. Uh thank you for tuning in and I’ll see you guys in the next video. So, bye everybody. Hope you all have a wonderful day and stay awesome. Oh, it’s kind of nice that the hotel actually offered uh some pajamas and this one too. Uh a pajama set actually more of This is really cool. I just discovered this just now. It’s really great.
It’s almost like a rest day in here, but it still feels eventful. I don’t know how the vlog lasted a bit longer after production. It must have been where I was rambling about anything XD
For this third day, it covers the time I traveled from Tokyo and Nagano through a long bullet train ride, which was the very first time I took a ride on! I also went to a Buddhist Temple plus the very well-known, the “Olympic Village”!
still plz do not hate, I’m just a humble man trying to vlog who tries to learn to express himself in public huhu ;-;
