JAPAN AIRLINES A350-900 JL508 Economy Class – New Chitose to Tokyo Haneda, Airport Lounge Views (4K)
A weekend in Sapporo is not long enough, however I will be back.
Join me as I fly back to Tokyo before flying back to Sydney, with Qantas the following day.
After catching the express train from Sapporo to New Chitose Airport, check-in was extremely quick using the dedicated First Class Check-In area (even flying Economy, with Oneworld Emerald status allows access, along with the ability to enter the lounge).
As with most Domestic Lounges, the offering is more snack based, along with a limited range of Beers, Wines and Soft Drinks/Juices. More than enough to take the edge off if hungry. As with the JAL lounge at Tokyo, this lounge provided amazing views of the ramp area, and both runways.
The flight was on time, and operated by an Airbus A350-941 registration JA11XJ.
Only drinks are offered on this short flight in Economy, so aside from a water, I had to get the exclusive JAL Peach & Grape mix drink.
After arrival into Tokyo, it was time to catch the train to Otorii Station for an overnight stay at the Mercure Tokyo Haneda Airport Hotel before a very early start the next day.
