Nagasaki Kunchi October 2024

This is one of Japans largest festivals. It runs for 3 days and nights. Celebrating a rich history the citizens of Nagasaki City prepare for this festival year round. I have viewed this festival 8 times now and still manage to see something different. Nagasaki is famous for three things. Ohaka (Graves), Saka (Mountains) and Kunchi Baka (Festival Fools).
