Not sure what I ate. So I left the menu as the last picture.
First time I sat on a chair on a Tatami mat. But we had elderly people that probably protest sitting on the tatami mat.
I preferred this location as compared to Shisui tasting menu that had too much western influence. So the flavor pallet was too familiar to me coming from NYC.
The flavor platte at this location was distinctly Japanese.
This shop humbly refers to itself as a tofu shop. A tofu shop indeed. Everyone should aspire to be a tofu shop.

At least you are honest about the location this time. Umenohana is fine especially for older people.
