DWIGHT Ramos earned a huge win in the penultimate week of the Japan B.League regular season as the Levanga Hokkaido fights for pride in their remaining games.
The Gilas Pilipinas stud fired nine points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal in their 73-66 win over Sendai 89ers on Sunday at Kamei Arena Sendai.
It ended Hokkaido’s six-game losing skid and bounced back from an 86-73 loss on Saturday which saw Ramos’ 17-point night go to waste.
Nonetheless, the Levanga improved to 20-38 with two games left in their schedule.
Other Pinoys aren’t so lucky.
Ray Parks’ Osaka Evessa dropped their weekend series against Saga Ballooners at Saga Arena.
Parks put up 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists in their 90-79 defeat on Saturday, before he notched nine points, six boards, three steals, and one assist in Sunday’s 106-82 blowout defeat to slide to an even 29-29 record.
Matthew Wright’s Kawasaki Brave Thunders also dropped their fourth straight defeat after losing to Alvark Tokyo at Yoyogi National Stadium 1st Gymnasium.
