Hilton has revealed plans to debut the Canopy by Hilton brand in Tokyo’s Akasaka district in 2028. This new addition will mark the third Canopy by Hilton hotel in Japan and promises to bring a fresh, vibrant hospitality offering to the city.

Located in the west block of the Akasaka 2-Chome and 6-Chome District Development, the Canopy by Hilton Tokyo Akasaka will occupy the 7th to 18th floors of an 18-storey mixed-use building. The building will be directly connected to Tokyo Metro’s Akasaka Station on the Chiyoda Line, providing easy access to both business districts and major tourist destinations across Tokyo.

The hotel will offer a total of 174 guest rooms, including 24 suites, with most rooms measuring around 31 sqm. Guests can enjoy two dining options, including a restaurant and bar, as well as a terrace café offering stunning panoramic views of the Akasaka area.

For those seeking to host events or meetings, the hotel will feature a 77 sqm meeting lounge, designed to cater to business travellers. Fitness enthusiasts will also have access to a 24-hour fitness room, ensuring they can maintain their routines throughout their stay.

In addition to the hotel, the lower floors of the building will house theatres and halls, contributing to the area’s growing status as an entertainment hub. The development also plans to offer limousine bus services to and from airports, further enhancing convenience for both domestic and international travellers.

The Canopy by Hilton Tokyo Akasaka will offer a blend of comfort, style, and accessibility, positioning it as a desirable option for visitors to Tokyo when it opens its doors in 2028.
