Miyako Island is located a few 100 km south of the Okinawa main island. It has some of the best beaches in Japan.
It is quite an easy and flat island to navigate. Rent a car to get around. It was only when we had to fill the tank of the car that we gave up. Luckily someone (as it always is in Japan) stepped in and helped us.. :o)
