This is my 10-day winter road trip across Tohoku, Japan, as I explore the scenic beauty of Sendai, Iwate, Aomori, Akita, and Yamagata.

This adventure took me through some of Japan’s most picturesque and less-travelled destinations, where I encountered snowy landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and the region’s hidden gems.
