Join us as we kick off our first day in Tokyo, Japan! 🇯🇵✈️

We flew from Los Angeles with a layover in Manila via Philippine Airlines, finally arriving at Narita International Airport. Upon landing, we were warmly welcomed by our private transfer from Your Travel Guide: Daily Private Tours & Airport Transfers—smooth and hassle-free!

We checked in at APA Hotel Asakusa-Eki-mae, our cozy base for the next 10 days. Room tour included!

After a refreshing shower and a bit of rest, we set out to explore Tokyo. Our first stop? Sumida Park 🌸 to catch the breathtaking cherry blossoms with stunning views of the Sumida River and the iconic Tokyo Skytree.

Next, we satisfied a long-time craving at Kyotako Asakusaten—the oldest Takoyaki stand in Asakusa. We’ve been waiting years to try authentic Takoyaki like this, and it did not disappoint!

Later, we hopped on a train to Yokohama to meet our good friend Haider. We had dinner at Coco Ichibanya (hello, Katsu Curry!) and spent a relaxing evening at the Yokohama Harbor Front, checking out the Yokohama Air Cabin, Cosmo Clock 21, and the Sail Training Ship Nippon Maru. A perfect way to end our first day!
