Mt. Fuji Travel Plan | Scenic Views, Shopping, Safari Park, Hot Spring & Illumination

We visited the Gotemba area in Shizuoka Prefecture, located about an hour and a half drive from Tokyo at the foot of Mt. Fuji!
Gotemba is a charming destination, home to some of Japan’s most famous shopping malls and relaxing hot spring spots where you can soak in the serene atmosphere while admiring the breathtaking scenery.
Although it may not yet be widely known to people outside of Japan, it’s a hidden gem cherished by locals.
It’s also convenient for a day trip from Tokyo, so be sure to include it in your travel plans!
