⚠ I was originally supposed to take this flight in First Class “La Première”
But, 4 hours before departure,
I received some very bad news…
My originally scheduled plane
was diverted to Halifax
for a medical emergency
(6 hours late)
Air France was forced to make a last-minute change of aircraft to replace it

but not equipped with First class cabin …

I am therefore unfortunately
downgraded to business class cabin… ;( ⚠

    Question : tu avais payé un billet de première et tu as dû voyager en classe affaire, comment cela se passe avec AF, tu reçois une indemnisation ?

    Salutations du Canada. Super et fascinant comme toujours, merci ! Je suis un peu surpris quand même ; même si les Mercedes et les Porsche sont superbes, pour la première classe d'Air France, j'aurais espéré les voir utiliser des voitures françaises !

    Definitely not what you had expected but from reading the comments below looks like AF handled the situation quite nicely with the compensation and re-imbursement.

    Also, great video! I did not know AF also has an Emirates-like personal chauffeur service to pick you up if you're flying in First. Nice captures of the Gobi Desert and the cities along the way. Looking forward to the spotting session at HND. 👍

    Good stuff…as always. So, as I understand it, you ended up paying for a business class seat…BUT you still got the first class treatment before boarding the plane…plus you received more than adequate compensation from Air France. I'd say that you did pretty well, overall. 🙂

    P.S. Looking forward to your plane spotting vid from Haneda. This is one of my fav airports.

    Je suis tellement triste que tu n’aies pas pu tester la cabine la Première ( en plus sur la ligne CDG-HND ).
    J’attentais ta vidéo avec tellement d’impatience !
    J’espère que tu auras vite la possibilité de reprendre la première d’Air France 🇫🇷
