Sailing Lake Ashi: Pirate Ship Adventure with Smoky Mt. Fuji Views 🏴‍☠️🗻

Embark on a unique journey across Lake Ashi aboard the Hakone Pirate Ship, traveling from Togendai to Hakonemachi-ko. Due to high winds, this was the only operational route during my visit. While wildfire smoke veiled much of the landscape, I was fortunate to catch a faint glimpse of Mt. Fuji through the haze.

Upgrading my Hakone Free Pass to a first-class ticket provided a spacious and comfortable experience at the front of the ship, enhancing the voyage despite the limited visibility.
