If you are chasing cherry blossoms in Japan right now, this samurai town in Akita prefecture is famous for their weeping cherry blossoms and Hinokinai river cherry blossoms. 🌸🗾🇯🇵

Take the Akita Shinkansen to Kakunodatemachi. The bullet train ride is only three hours from Tokyo Station. Ticket is around 16,800 yen one way, but free if you have the JR pass. 🚉
