The tourist cabin you're billeted on is similar in setup to ferries owned by 2GO (but then again, those were former Japanese ferries, and they use urethane mattresses, similar to Sunflower's setup).
In the Philippines, tourist type cabins are usually reserved by families at this time of the year (summer vacation and especially Holy Week, the Philippines being a country with a predominantly Roman Catholic population). At this time of the year, many people would ride ferries (and other transportation forms like buses and planes) from cities like Manila or Cebu to go to the provinces to visit relatives or to go on vacation to destinations like Boracay.

自分はその日の前週の4/1に弾丸ツーリングで阿蘇山に行ってきました
予報では現地の桜は満開で天気も晴れ☀️と出てましたが、いざ大分港に着くと雨でした😢
大観峰も阿蘇山火口も霧ってましたがなんとか持ち直して満喫できましたが、ちょい古な大分航路と適度な最新船の志布志航路がお気に入りです❤

Es war wieder eine schöne Reise, Oita scheint auch sehr schön zu sein. Man fühlt sich bei Ihren Videos , immer so, als ob man live mit dabei ist. Wünsche Ihnen ein geruhsames Osterfest, oder gibt es in Japan keine Osterferien?

I would not feel comfy in a shared cabin unless, as you say, its with family or friends. Then it would be like camping.
Thank you for starting your video showing us the beauty of Japan. The blossoms and castle are beautiful and that spring being there for so long is wow. That is a great price for the ticket that includes everything. Although that air purifier kinda you a little space. Auld Lang Syne is a fitting bon voyage song. Love buffet food because you get what you want. All the bridges look so beautiful at night. I'm always amazed by you punctual ask travel is. That warm private bath must have felt incredible. What a great way to relax after the trip. My son would love that art museum. He's studying art in college. It was a cool visit of Oita. I think the window space is better on your return trip. Beautiful sunrise! Another amazing trip! 🐺

大部屋でもベッドメイキングが個室仕様と同じで美しいと思いました。下船時の始末もそうですが、見習いたいと思います☺️
