I love the video. thanks
Way to go with snow mobiling . So cool 😎
Japan sure knows how to enjoy the winter. Everything so magical ❤❤❤
love the animated dinosaur
Great vid .. it’s nice to see Japan in winter time .. keep warm 🙏
😂😂😂 Snowmobiling…atving… slow people just gotta move out da way when Yen is at the helm 😂😂😂 “I do wish we could go a lot faster…(hours later) I do wish we could go a lot faster.” 😂😂
The red flowers with the snow looked beautiful…
By the way, Peter how did you not hear the thundering footsteps of the stygimoloch running past you 😁. Was that Yen’s handy vfx 🦖 😁😁
For some reason I thought this week was the last Japan vid, but sounds like one more? Was cool to see the ice festival through video… think it would look more magical if the lighting was kept to shades of blue, but us Asians love lighting everything colorfully 😂.
Thanks for the vid guys? Oh..was gunna ask, the tour doesn’t stop for food throughout the long day? Was wedges and yogurt all you got to eat? Looking forward to another Japan vid!
Just wondering… over the years you guys must have seen some pretty funny things while filming, outtakes, bloopers, weird people just wandering into shot… reckon you could do a blooper reel?
Can see why Peter drives in NZ (no speeding tickets), Yen is The Speed Merchant
I got to make sure Joyce and I get to do this when we head out that way in the future (maybe 2026)
The wedges do look yummy on any occasion, much less a very cold day and the ride
Lake Shikoku, looks pretty expansive like those in south island, with the fluffy clouds during the golden hour, soothing and nice
The ice feature, man made, so innovative to make it a great attraction
The colors at night really nice
The tour at NZD107 for the entire day is really cheap, given the cost of living in Japan being so high
Thanks again both for sharing this Great Vlog and have a great week both
Loved Lake Shikoku, what a great way to finish the day. Peter & Yen, are my favourite travel bloggers!!
Those ice walls were truly magical 🤩 I was just trying to work out if they were natural or man-made, and you told me! Lol.
The talent must have been as magical as the sculptures, I could not work out how they could be made. I might have to watch it another 20 or 30 times to see if I can figure it out 😎
Ooh snowmobiling! Did you try the Hokkaido "healthy" drink? It's like yakult but I think it actually tastes nicer. They have good gelato & decent cheese too, although I think most of that is up Furano way? You got to see Jigokudani! We were in Noboribetsu only briefly, and we were there for snowshoeing so went nowhere near the sulfur springs haha. We missed Lake Shikotsu alas.
The snow looked lovely but so cold 🥶. Japan is stunning. 😊
What I've always respected about you both is your ethical travel, not engaging in animal exploitation ❤
