Oasis have never been a band to do things by half-measures, but their hotly anticipated reunion tour is set to be among their most expansive tours in rock history. Since the initial announcement of UK and Irish dates back in August, the Gallagher brothers have also confirmed shows in North America, South America, Australia, and now East Asia.
After teasing an announcement earlier this week, the Britpop heroes have finally confirmed plans to visit Asia during their extensive world tour in 2025. At current, the band have only announced three dates for the Asian leg of the reunion tour, in South Korea and Japan, taking the total number of dates on the tour up to 41.
Oasis are set to perform at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, South Korea, on October 21st, 2025, before travelling to Tokyo for two shows at the Tokyo Dome on October 25th and 26th. Both of these venues have a rough capacity of 42,000 people and are most often used for sports events.
Tickets for the South Korean date will go on general sale on November 29th at 12pm KST, while Japanese fans will have to wait a little longer, with tickets due on sale on December 7th, 10am JST.
This part of the tour is expected to sell out just as quickly as the rest of the tour, with each new leg of the reunion selling out in mere minutes across the world. However, the timing of these three shows does leave Oasis room to add more dates on either side of them. For instance, the South Korean show comes almost one month after the band’s final planned date in the UK, with nothing planned in between.
It is not inconceivable, therefore, that the Manchester group would add a few more concerts to their Asian itinerary. For now, though, these concerts in Japan and South Korea are the only opportunity for Oasis’ extensive Asian fanbase to see the Gallagher brothers reunited at last.
Since the brothers announced their reunion back in August, fans across the world have been brimming with excitement about the reality of a new Oasis tour. Their initial announcement of a tour of the UK and Ireland was quickly expanded to include further dates across the British Isles, before adding exhaustive schedules of North America, South America, and Australia.
All 41 shows, excluding the newly announced Asian dates, sold out rapidly, showing the lasting influence of the Britpop icons. So, if fans missed out on tickets for the rest of the tour, it might be worth looking at flights to Tokyo.
